I don't have time for every run but its ones like this where I see a game that took me 80 hours casually done this quickly that I can't miss, what an ending.

Skyhold being empty and dark was actually really cool, it’s like the inquisition found an actual ruin and didn’t have the resources to make it into anything better

I'm surprised that Warrior Charging Bull is favored over KE Fade Step, but I suppose the speed of Fade Step doesn't make up for its downtime and/or the time it takes to get in the first place.

If part of the run involves changing system time, I suspect that'd be why Origin acts a little strange.

On PC you can just use a mod that sets all War Table missions to the minimum amount of time to complete that the mission supports (usually less than a minute). You can also skip those company logos at the start and various other mods. No need to mess with the System Clock. Of course you can't mod if doing a speed run.

If it's enough of a problem they could probably agree on a new rule or category. Mass Effect 2 speedrun allows a few mods if I remember right.

Dragon Age never had a good gameplay loop. It's biggest draw has always been the story. Once you know the overarching story it becomes less appealing. There is are even fewer reasons to play once you play with different choices and realize that most of them are rather meaningless. You can play as a total saint and an evil warlord and see like 85% of the dialog. Honestly hope 4 breaks that trend.

It was ok, played faster, and it has been a while but I'm pretty sure it was better then DA2. Super annoyed my Mage was knocked out in 2 when I needed him most at the end of the game. I don't recall finishing that one.

I mean yea, half of the game could be cut out and we'd lose nothing since it's a lot of copy-pasted dungeons and places. It gets tiresome to go anywhere and find the same MMOish groups of enemies respawning every 2 seconds, or enter the same dungeon the millionth time.

Honestly, all 3 are pretty good storywise. Gameplay has always been the weakest aspect of Dragon Age. I feel most people don't like 3 is because it really fails to capture the grand scope it promised.
