The Artificer specializations is definitely one of the most underrated for making powerful builds in Dragon Age Inquisition. This guide will show you how the Artificer can become a dragon killer!

Craft yourself some gear and add your personal favorite Masterwork perks. "Hidden Blades on hit" is one of the most powerful perks you can add and I highly recommend it!
Single targets - Stealth or Flank attack, hit them with Twin Fangs. If out of range, use Throwing Blades. When back in range, either perform the Stealth toTwin Fangs combo, or hit them with Spinning Blades for a high chance to activate your Masterwork perk.
Thanks to our high crit, stamina regen, and cooldown reduction, we can literally spam abilities one after another.
For medium (3 enemies) to large (5+) fights with enemies, carefully position yourself a few steps away from the group, and use Elemental Mines. If you threw them correctly, they should set off like a Michael Bay movie and you'll likely have all your stamina back. If you screw up, then you probably just threw all your stamina on the ground, and now you can do anything but auto attack.
Fallback Plan is usually not necessary except for boss or dragon fights. And then it becomes a life saver! Either preset the ability before approaching enemies, or wait, read your enemies attacks, and throw it down just before they hit you.
To get the most out of this build, you want to bring party members that have a good amount of Critical Hit Chance in their Attributes to take advantage of Opportunity Knocks. While not vital to the success of the build, it can be a big help in reducing the cooldowns on your skills.
