This was my first character and dual wield artificer is still my favorite build in this game. It's so much fun! Haven't tried toxic cloud though but it looks fun. I'll have to try dropping it in the middle of a static cage...

Going to be using this build on my Rogue for my run! It's interesting to me how you do so much of these builds with a Solo mindset even. It'd be neat if you ever did a video on good AI builds / tactics though.

Wassup Starflorge ? It is a fan of your builds, and today I'm gonna explain to you why I'm thankful ! My main character is an artificer (Instead of taking lost in the mist and the ability to put asleep mobs to sleep (forgot the name), I'm just playing around with these abilities, cause it's just too much fun to handle) Sera the tempest archer (no change, absolutely lovely, deadly-jokingly elf, yay!) Solas my rift/fire (I took static cage instead of wall of fire, because when he uses static cage and I've set up my mines, it obliterates all mobs, just obscene, love it) mage As for the tanks I'm switching between Blackwall and Iron Bull because both are just way too OP, and I love them ! I let Blackwall do his things when he is in the party, but I can't just help myself and destroy people with Iron Bull (+ the fact I have slight hearts attacks whenever I see "Low health" that often hahahahah) THANK YOU! Can't wait to see the wonders you'll do on Dragon Age 4 ! I might just wait for some builds you do before gettting into it (Yes, I'm that much a noob when it comes to make my own build, but I don't care when there are Starflorges out there so... hahahaha!) Anyway, see you ;)

Tell me, please, does Infected Wounds (Poisoned Weapons) apply to all damage, including skill damage, or just auto-attack damage?

Is this build better than the tempest rogue with the throwing blades that you made?

Would the artificer part work for a archer as well as this?

Hey mate, I'm trying to pick between this build and a two handed champion, ill be playing on an easy difficulty - just for fun :)

Nice video!!! I've played with the same build myself and this by far the best dps specialization in the entire game. The only downside is that it gets kinda boring later on, cuz of infinite cooldown reduction and stamina. These are supposed be the resources which make you character balanced right? Well artificer works like a god-mode cheat code at least for me as the game allows a player to bypass any kind of limitations that the other specializations have. For example, assassins depend on their stealth and if you mess up your stealth game you deal no dmg, reavers need to manipulate their health very carefully and so on. Yet with artificer it is possible to solo the entire game after you get 65-70% crit chance without breaking a sweat while watching a movie or playing Heartstone at the same time

Nice to see you back in the DA saddle. This exact duo is the most enjoyable run on this game I've had. Varric on daggers can virtually solo Deep Roads DLC. Only downside was, Throw Everything often froze the graphics.

I know flank attack is more DPS but I like having the no CC and no stam cost on grip hook as a gap closer more. Its less damage but it's more forgiving if you mess up, at least for me at lvl 16 atm. I have a hard time tracking the camera adjustment on flank. I want the passives for it but I was thinking about taking the end tier shadow strike in the stealth tree. Anyone try this? Even without flank im shredding enemies.

Hey Starflorge , i love all your work and effort you put into ALL these builds. I have a question , im currently on a DW Artificer after a long break from DAI and its the most fun i've ever had in the Game. But i cant decide which stats would suit best , after having my Critical Chance around 70 ish i dont know what is best, more attack or more Critical Damage. Thanks in advance

An amazing video Star. It's funny because this is actually very similar to one of my rogue builds that I came up with. And I can personally attest to the fact that this is one of the funnest builds. So much potential with this artificer. Thing is, being artificer means you can spam your abilities over and over. Now, combine this with lost and the mist, and what do you have? INSTANT WIN. But seriously, awesome build. I'm surprised that my build was so close to this one. Also, EXTREMELY excited for your best gear builds. And remember, if you need extra information, just give me a shout :)

Try combining Static cage with the damage per hit perk with spinning blades... this is OP!

Lost in the Mist appears to be bugged. Do you have any alternative suggestions for this build if you don't go down the tree for Explosive Toxin and Lost in the Mist?

Nice video, I like your enthusiasm! I'd have a question though, why not use spike trap instead of knock out powder? You already spent a point in it anyway, it will do the job very nicely against those nasty shielded guys (also archers, mages and even despair demons), send them flying, knock them down and icing on the cake you don't even get out of stealth!

So does this mean that between daggers and archery, daggers are better? (More fun as well?) I have been trying to figure out which spec to play. Thanks for any advice!

What party setup goes well with this build? I'm still at the beginning so I'm not that op on solo or duo

by some bizarre string of luck i got two rings that increase spinning blade by 30 percent each. Would this match your rings for dps?

Just started using this build and I love it but whenever I use the elemental mines they go way up in the air instead of on the ground.. is it a glitch or am I not using them right?

would like to know how you setup your compaion so he dont get attacked or will attack when you do. i would like to play as mage or rogue myself but at some points in the game its good to have one or the other with you to pick a door or use they mage to make a brigde.

Super duper late to the party but, I gotta ask; The devs at some point changed the base damage value of the elemental mines ability to be 50% weapon damage instead of 175%. Does this overly negatively effect the build, or is it still likely viable given the dps output? I am aware that the mines are not the primary layer to the build, but they still look super fun.

So i am trying this out but for some reason when I use the Elemental Mines they go all over the place and its hard to get the smaller group and its really annoying. A little help please but overall i am happy with this

Good stuff, considering the rarity of using toxic cloud as an actual ability though, id consider replacing it with something more useful. While it would add some ability points to the build, maybe twin fangs or shadow strike, both of which stack off of throwing blades and do significantly more damage than flank attack. Personally, I’ve found I don’t need knockout powder as flank attack gets through shields and puts you in stealth ready to go round back and hit them from behind also with the stealth damage bonus. If you were to swap knockout powder for something else, you would be able to get a point from not getting its upgrade and only need one more for shadow strike, or not get the ability entirely and have two points for twin fangs or a start towards deathblow (which also stacks off of throwing blades getting pretty much the highest possible damage if enemy is lower on health)

You can take poison weapons and leave toxic cloud. When you kill an enemy you’ll still get elusive stacks. As long as it is unlocked it works.

With that much dps i bet you dont even take another rogue in your party ^^

I'm using the mod that unlocks all of the skills without needing to go through the trees, and dual blades + arti can be absolutely broken beyond even what we usually see

Bloodied Prey states it triggers if foes "current health is lower than your own". Is this a straight forward comparison of current health, or are we talking about current health in relation to max health (health%) as you hint at? If the former is true, then it's likely the worst ability in the game as it would almost never trigger, if the latter then it's a nifty damage bonus balanced with similar abilities.

Did they nerfed the Rogue? I don't have any of these specializations

Did this with my inquisitor, and when varric was in my party, i got a 100% crit chance lol. Finished the game with all the dlcs and with every trial activated and it was a walk in the park. Got massive frame rate drops and crashes tho because i keep spamming elemental mines like 5 times in succsssion

What happened to the trap rogue build you briefly uploaded? That build is completely freakin' broken. I'm playing it right now on Nightmare with Trials and every single mob in the game dies and dies ugly, even Arcane Warriors, Dragons, everything. And explosions are fun!

I assume this is on normal difficulty, can't seems to do it on nightmare

its truly the best specialization...it works with everything you do to it.with a mere level14 i single handedly destroyed every dragon in the game...not using daggers tho...i despise those twigs...i used archery...get all passives.remove long shot, full draw, and anything else except leaping shot and explosive shot.get beats walking in poison tree.have above 160 crit dmg bonus and 50 crit chane at the VERY least for chance...here is the important part...get throwing blades plus the upgrade that makes the dmg increase/stack per FEWER there are enemies.get 5 hidden blades masterwork.also get the 5 guard on hit.btw for leaping shots...get stealth...some disagree, ignore them they play on hard...i play on nightmareWITHcustom stealth plus all the bonuses in stealth...GODDAMNall shots basically ignore armor destroy guard...so much DAMAGE.also get poison weapons and toxic bomb...here is the fun part...toxic bomb can literally be anything you want if you have the passive that makes automatic poisoned ground aoe on left side of tree.

Try using fade touched silverite to generate guard
