I just figured it out, you have to cut and paste the save into the "Save editor 1 (cracked, offline)" folder, then it will load the save

I was getting this error at first when I was loading a save that I was already playing. But when I started a new game, and made a save when I first got control of the character, I was able to load that new save successfully in the editor. Apparently, it doesnt load any of my previously played saves. Only the new saves where I didnt progress in the story.

@@husleman yeh i also found out that you can only really edit fresh (or mostly fresh) save files. If you progress the story in game.. and then tamper with the decisions/choices, things get a little screwed up, and can be permanently corrupt.

Yes, to the dragon age save folder. Or you can just edit the file in the original folder. You dont have to move it to desktop. It is way eaiser tho.

@@idiotclown148 I have the exact same problem. Says something about "mapping/raw.txt" not found. Have you figured it out yet?

@@idiotclown148 Got it fixed. Had to change the file type. For some reason it was on WinRAR zip instead of Java Executable. So I didn't have to annoy it.

I don't think so. But hawke will always have defualt face in the other games, even tho its customized

in the game you do, i don't see why the cracked version would change that

afksamuelyou i managed to fix my problem by changing my edited save file name exactly as the same file name from the original save, then i replaced it and i located my save

afksamuelyou apparently the game cant locate ur edited save if it is named differently than the normal save file name, highlight this comment just in case ppl cant find their save

this is editor for Inquisition only. you enter choices from first two games to import them into Inquisition. it is not for Origins.

@@Noxendi oh I see yeah that shouldn't matter, you just get a new save file and replace the old one where you safe files are usually stored.

yeah the download link for the java one doesn't work for me too, and it looks like the problem wasn't really an issue a year ago until now. i managed to contact the folks on that website recently and i'll give an update if they responded and see if they can fix it :)

i dont think so, you can try and see. Just make sure to have a copy of your current save file before editing it so you dont lose your game progress.

Follow every step in my video. Try both clients that i have listed. If you have followed the steps correctly and it still does not work. Try running the program as an administrator. Because it should work if you have followed my steps correctly.

This reply is for future readers who stumble upon this same error after watching this video. I was getting this error as well when trying to load a save where I had already progressed into the story in inquisition(old saves). But creating a new game and saving right after I gain control of my character for the first time, and loading that save into the editor worked successfully. I guess it doesnt like old save files.

Run as administrator or update java. Or i said in the video you csnt edit a save file who yoy have progressed in the game. Just to be safe start a new game, save and then load it.

If anyone gets this problem, what fixed it for me was shortening/altering the file path for whatever reason. Reading the save file directly from the save directory in C: gave me this error, but it got fixed by moving the save file into the same location the editor was in (which was in D:). This is all for the second editor (java) of course.

@@afksamuelyou I tried everything to make It work, I Just couldn't play DAI because I gave up. I won't play it without my choices from the previous games :( It made me really sad
