Again."

@@indiankid8601 The bored move, when you complete the race course in the Hinterlands after doing every region quests, finished the main campaign, the first two dlcs and killed all the dragons. Going through the riding course was weirdly refreshing and relaxing after all the hardships.

I played through as a bit of an elfy elf. While I wasn't always declaring my Dalish heritage I made it very apparent that my guy hated the chantry and what it stood for and didn't believe in the maker. He thought that an elf leading the Inquisition could lead to good, not only helping to save the world but also to help the elves. The idea of an Alienage haunted him even if he grew up Dalish. He was willing to work with the chantry or templars or any other organization because it was a means to an end. If allying with the templars would close the breach he would do so but he was never willing to submit to them. When he found out that keeping the Inquisitikn would mean serving the chantry he had no problem angrily declaring he had a world to save again and fucking right off. I like to think that he could live a happier life with a smaller organization and in some ways return to his roots.

I know the feeling. My character has a weirder backstory. But, he's a human who knows the chantry is full of it. However, playing along is the only way to fix what's broken, so he does. But, on his terms. In the end, keeping the Inquisition going (at least for now) would be a middle finger to those idiots who've done nothing but Betty in his way over their own bullshit

The council happened over many days, probably a week. This was the final hour of the council, the decision making. Probably they already got information, because Tegan talked about solas and spies

I really wish there was a way to keep Inquisition without serving the Divine, my Dalish elf wanted to keep it but was heavily anti-Chantry so imagine my annoyance when she mentioned serving Divine Victoria in angry speech option.

Disbanding basically still keeps the Inquisition but they are more secret than open. Either way no force that large with minimal oversight would ever be allowed anywhere when the threat they were created to stop is gone If so the Inquisitor may as well turn the hell and say "I'm keeping my army no matter what" Famous last villainous words :p

If you haven't noticed yet the trespasser dlc was essentially made so that BioWare could slam all of us into place and force us to follow their narrative regardless of our choices or preferences. I wanted to make my inquisitor a hateful elf who wants the old elven world back just like solas, but when you even try to imply that BioWare, through Solas, slaps you down and says "No you should focus on the inquisition" as if it is insulting to them that I don't want to play the fucking character they obviously had predetermined in their mind. Fuck BioWare and their retarded illusion of choice games, at least the Witcher series doesn't pretend to give you complete free will.

What makes this choice hard? From my understanding, the Inquisition is needed now more than ever now that Solas is trying to destroy the world. Who exactly is powerful enough to stop him if the Inquisition disbands?

The Inquisition has grown so much that it can't be effectively controlled anymore. Solas himself said that Qunari spies in the Inquisition tripped over his own. Both groups had infiltrated the organization, and even Leliana was none the wiser. Corypheus was hardly subtle, but Solas was known to be a trickster in his old Fen'Harel days, so he's not an enemy that can be beaten by just throwing resources - in fact, that could even have the adverse effect of causing more chaos. Besides, DA4 will be taking place in Tevinter, where the Inquisition's influence isn't as large as in the south. I think the better option is to disband the Inquisition and let a smaller, but more trusted team handle Solas.

The best course of action is to slowly transition power from the Inquisition to the regional powers of Fereldon and Orlaisian nobles. Immediate disbanding would create a power vacuum and throw the already fragile peace into the dump. The Inquisition did good, but Thedas doesn’t need it any more.

but its already confirmed the Inquisitor won't be the main lead next time. Maybe he will be back as a side character like Morrigan, supporting the new Hero. He or She won't play an active role, it has been so since Dragon Age 2, the former hero is basically done with his or her story. But yeah would be great being able to play them again. I really much miss the Warden from Origins. Oh well all the Heros are great can't we have them all in the party xD

I don't believe Solas removed the anchor. He stopped the anchor from consuming the Inquisitor, but at the cost of the Inquisitor's left forearm.

+Jarrod Byrne The anchor was consuming the Inquisitor's arm, so to save her/his life, Solas decided stops the mark from growing any further. The cost was the Inquisitor's arm. But if you accept Sera invitation to join the Red Jennies, you'll get a super badass crossbow attached to your arm ;)

Not unplayable at all. I've actually never run into a bug on PC (not saying they aren't there, I just haven't experienced them myself, and the ones I've heard of aren't even big enough to break the game). I'm not sure what platform you're on, but to say it's unplayable is a huge reach.
