Hello! I've noticed that you've lost out on a bit of experience points (not doing the Lothering side quests, or not having Leliana to disarm the traps in the random encounter at about the 1 hour 45 minute mark, for example). Is this typical in all of your playthroughs, or were you just trying to shorten this playthrough where you could? Just curious, no hate!
It's okay, I'm happy to answer any questions you have ! :) Hmm... As far as I know, I finished all of the Lothering quests. I killed the bandits for the chanter's board, killed the bears, killed the wolves and got the amulet from the corpse(even got the Oathkeeper for it). I created healing potions for Miriam, killed the spiders and created poison for Barlin. I got the locket from the templar's body, and gave it to Donal. I freed Sten from the cage by having Leliana convince the Mother. I chased the bandits away, and I made a deal with the Merchant. I also started to complete the Blackstone Irregular's quest by talking to the recruit in the chantry and I picked up the Dereliction of Duty quest as well. Alison and her traps, will be done later, since I have not placed a point into trap making yet. I will use Leliana to complete the quest in my next episode. I am not aware of any other side quest in Lothering that I missed. I did not talk to the elves and the boy because I figured it's a waste of time, since they just lessen your money anyway. Disarming traps will not happen during random encounters, because I will use Sten, Alistair and Morrigan as my party. In most other cases, I actually went back and opened the locked chests with Leliana(those footages will be sped up to save time). I really just used her to open locks and disarm traps after the area is cleared in this playthrough, I did not bring her to fight(so for example, once I'm done with the Paragon of Her kind quest, I go back with Leliana and open every chest in the Deep Roads while she is under the effect of double Haste). Still, a few times she actually got into a fight while I was looting with her, but I figured that's okay, since I boosted her Dex very high. I tried to get as much XP as I could, but I did not go out of my way to get everything(could have bought the Archivist Sash to get more xp from codex, I could have boosted the strength of my troops with elfroots, runes, gold and gems but I didn't), to save time, plus I figured I won't need it. My character was at level 23 when I finished the game, which is just 2 levels less than the maximum. Also the build I was going for only needs level 20 to be considered "complete". :)
Man, even though I was playing alongside these videos, I messed up at the end of last episode. One of the soldiers got killed during the ogre fight. I wasn't paying attention to his health and I forgot to cast the force field spell on him. Oh well, at least i'll try to finish it without using healing pots.
Yeah, sometimes your team can fall in just a few seconds if you don't watch them closely. And watching them closely can be challenging because of how many things going on at the same time. Especially with spells that lock you into the animation, like Flame Blast. :)
Yup. In fact I did not do the quest at all. It gives next to nothing so it's a waste of time. So if you did not do it, then the key is going to be in the cage(with a corpse which is supposed to be the Deserter's) as soon as you enter Ostagar in the dlc. The loot is much better than the original loot anyway, so I prefer it this way. :)
So my friend from what you have seen an read from the game informer article what do you think about the new dragon age game also I heard a rumour I don’t know if it’s true but people are saying they might release a video showing us how the character creator works how true this rumour is I don’t know 🤷🏾♂️
I'm interested. The skill tree looks interesting, the three ability limit kind of sucks, but it can still produce fun gameplay especially if your character is nimble and the basic attacks have nice variations - and the parry and dodge mechanics are incorporated in the basic movement mechanics.
