I love RPGs and RPG builds. I'm not a fan of conventional builds though, where you just follow a formula. I like to create my own unique ones with a lot of tweaks and roleplay elements.
I make videos about boss fights, builds, tips and advice on how to deal with challenging parts easily in certain games. On top of that, anything really that I consider an "achievement" in games. Plus whatever else I feel like sharing sometimes - which now includes playthroughs and longplays as well.
My favorite games are: Mass Effect 1, 2, 3, Dragon Age Origins, DA Inquisition, TES: Skyrim, TES: Oblivion, Diablo 1 and 2, Fallout 4, The Witcher 1, 2, 3, Deus Ex, Deus Ex: Human Revolution, Gothic and Dungeon Siege 1, 2.
I love the challenge, so I only play on the hardest difficulty in every RPG I come across.
I am also a fan of strategy games like Rome Total War, Age of Empires or Warhammer 40k Dawn of War.
I hope you will find my content informative or at least fun to watch!
Im having a real hard time to understand how these ME3 combos work... Im sorry, Im a noob on ME3 (just arrived at the game with my Shep imported from ME1 and 2) and trying for the Insanity triple trophies... Its a bit chaotic on the video - whats the order of the powers I need to respect to get the explosions, please? The order changes depending on the energy bar of the enemy (it changes if its armored, shielded or barried)? Im in dire need to understand this combo system, getting my ass kicked hard here...
So, if you just started the game, you probably don't have Reave yet, so let's forget about that for now. You will unlock it later. Get Warp first. If you, yourself, want to execute combos, you will need it. Warp is gonna be you main primer(primers set up the combos, detonators make them explode). You can detonate a biotic combo, by smacking an enemy with Warp, then Throw(Throw is a good detonator because its cooldown is very fast). So Warp first, then Throw. This is a basic biotic combo. It works on enemies with red health bar, purple barrier bar and yellow armor bar. So Warp + Throw or Shockwave = massive health, armor and barrier damage combo. However, Liara comes with Singularity, and Singularity can also be detonated with Throw(her Singularity recharges super fast). So make sure Liara uses Singularity on an enemy, then you use Throw and boom. You got another combo. This works on enemies with a simple red health bar(Husks, Cannibals, unshielded Cerberus troops). Pretty much the best crowd control you can have early game. So Singularity + Throw or Shockwave = massive biotic combo against enemies with no protection(simple red health bar). You won't even have to leave cover for a second with this one, since Singularity can lift enemies out of cover and then you can just smack them with Throw in a split second. Biotic combos don't really work well on Shielded enemies, but you can detonate tech combos with your biotics. If you have an ally(like Garrus), who has Overload, you can detonate that with Warp for a tech-combo. It is pretty devastating against Shield. So Overload + Warp or Shockwave = massive shield damage combo. By the way, once you detonate the Overload + Warp combo, the target can still be detonated AGAIN with a Throw or a Shockwave, since it's under the effect of Warp and Warp can be detonated with Throw or Shockwave. Also you can detonate fire combos with Warp if a squad member can use Incinerate(like EDI). This is fantastic against armor. So Incinerate + Warp or Shockwave = massive armor damage combo. Shockwave can also detonate a lot of combos(Incinerate, Warp, Reave, Overload etc), but it has a bit short range. At the beginning, all you are gonna see is enemies with normal health bar, enemies with shield and a few with armor(no enemies with Barrier yet). Now you know how to deal with them with combos. :) If you are really struggling, pick Vega and upgrade his Fire Ammo to squad ammo(you can respec him freely the first time). This way you will have Fire Ammo. Warp, Throw, Shockwave can all detonate enemies who are set on fire by Fire Ammo(make sure your squad uses fast firing weapons because they have higher chance to apply the burn effect which you can detonate). The game will turn into easy mode quickly this way, since you are gonna do non-stop fire explosions.
@@AKisHerceg gods, I'm so gratefull my friend! What an amazing tutorial! Thank you so much! I'll follow your instructions to the letter! So it's just investing on these skills and keep the loadout as light as possible - the squad's loadout also influences their power cooldown?
Thanks dude I was playing awakening as a dual assassin rogue and I am at wending wood where you get put into prison and lose all your stuff. The enemy with my character daggers never spawn (best daggers in game) and I dont have any saves prior to that quest so now I was wondering what can I do with my dual rogue missing its daggers and paralysis runes and I this build will help me finish the dlcs.
ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-J1k0lUq1pVY.htmlsi=Ww8uHPoNdSFanuBb have you seen the new mage gameplay I know you will be able to make a powerful combat for the mage class I mean I’m even thinking about the exploding crystal rook sent out in his staff you could use that as crowd control if they still have the speed zoom move you use in inquisition where your mage can fade through people and come up behind them then you can cast that exploding crystal spell again and do even more damage or use your might potion 🧪 to give you more damage and this is just a level one mage can you imagine once you level up how powerfully you can get I’m so excited now and whoever is doing there marketing really need to step it up because this should have be released along time ago ok well tell me what you think and thank you for your amazing video 🙏
Dude, how you get so much strength? Im lvl 25 and i have only 74, not mention other stats like cunning (i have only 22). I use same armor and axe stack with everite.
You get STR and CUN from passives and equipment(plus the extra attributes in the Fade and during the Templar quest). What passives have you unlocked? What armor are you wearing. The Superior Battlemaster armor I'm wearing with the upgrades gives 22 utility slots alone, which is +22 STR. I also have 30+ STR from passive skills(and 9 CUN) plus the DH Axe with the upgrades.
I usually bring wynne and Alistair to Ostagar since they seems to be the only party members have some personal connection with this places, and I dont really like Stan so basically he just sitting in my camp for like eternity lol
The hardest fight in the game in my opinion is the wolf random encounter early, on nightmare or the LotR ringwraith rare encounter at a low level on nightmare.
You should do some lore/head canon videos. You can link the trilogy via head canon, lore and builds/choices. I even included the trade contracts, etc in Inquisition into the stories.
Yep, as a dwarf siding with Bhelen. Bringing back the dwarves from the brink of extinction and clearing the deep roads via Alistair's favor, and the Architect was awesome.
Hey man! Thanks for all these build guides, you made it legit difficult to settle on what class for my inquisition replay in anticipation of veilgaurd lol! I ended up settling with this one though, when do you think is a good idea to start actually investing points into the rift tree? Currently lvl 12, and I just unlocked it. B-line for the restorative veil/stonefist or wait till I get some more skill points? I don’t have too much experience playing mage on DAI so not sure what passives are necessary to have early or if I should just focus on skills. Thanks!!
Hmm... At level 12 I had 14 points as a human so: Barrier, Guardian Spirit, Energy Barrage, Immolate(did not use this, just need it to get to Fire Mine), Flashpoint, Pyromancer, Fire Mine, Fade Step, Winter's Grasp, Winter's Stillness, Stonefist, Shatterstone, Veilstrike, Restorative Veil. My tactic was to freeze enemies with Winter's Grasp and blast them with Fire Mine, or shatter them with Stonefist. Also I used Stonefist to knock down and weaken enemies, then I used WG or Fire Mine on them to leech back my mana. I also used Energy Barrage on targets with high health. Whenever I was mobbed, I used Veilstrike. Once I had high crit chance equipment, I re-specced and picked up Clean Burn asap to reduce cooldowns.
Really enjoying this play through! Also I love the commentary. You know the game inside and out and are very good at teaching how to get through these brutal early combat encounters!
Weren't rogues highly strengthened in awakening? I recall that three dd rogues can kill bosses in a few seconds. I'm going to miss the complexity of the mage class of origins...
@@dadadam789 I like it, but it's very mana heavy and kind of ineffective against any non-static enemy(or at least it requires a very specific tactic to make it effective). Sadly it draws a ton of aggro, so enemies will leave the cloud to chase you the second you cast it, so I consider it pretty situational. Same with Storm of the century. To make it more effective, I usually run into the cloud so they can stay in it and take damage. This requires an Anti-Magic Ward when you run into the cloud(you can also use Lifeward but if you have too little health pool you might die instantly)and then a Force Field when the Anti-Magic Ward wears off. I might make a video about these combos and how to make them very effective, now that you brought this topic up! :)
@@AKisHerceg I've used it mostly against bosses. It felt great defeating the high dragon after two EDs. What I do is tactfully cast petrify and paralysis glyphs
To me that happens around 45-50 minutes. But it depends on the area. Cadash Thaig for example is very prone to start lagging after just 10-15 min for some reason. The area where the Genlock Forgemaster is also starts making my game lag. Same with the Arcane Horror in the Bercillian Forest. Once you get close to the area where it spawns my game starts acting up bad. So unless something happens I get away with 45-50 min gameplay without quitting. I don't have any other way of fixing the lag. I already lowered the textures, so that kind of made the game more stable for me, but beyond that, there is nothing else.
@@lolodarkness Ah, I see. Well, my native language is also not English, so I hope you’re not trying to learn it from me, lol. In fact, grammatically speaking, your Spanish is actually closer to English than my native language. :)
I'm not sure if this counts as an exploit but you can buy 2 backpacks from the quartermaster: 1 in the morning and 1 in the evening when his inventory reset. It's great because he has the cheapest backpack in the game and you'll be needing extra inventory space for bombs and poisons :)
Yup, I know, and it does not count as an exploit, since it's just a simple inventory reset(same with Bodahn). I guess I forgot to buy both, because I was just so anxious to get the Wilds over with. :)
So what did you think of the new dragon age trailer? For me I was at 30% chance of me getting the game now I’m at 70% I’m not completely sold I still want to see that game play trailer on the 19 then I will make my decision what about you what did you think and thank you for the origin video 👍🏿
Yeah, and Pinning Shot does not last long on Nightmare, max 1.5 sec, which is not enough for us to swarm him and prevent him to run back behind the traps. I hate that guy so much. :)
It's a skippable boss fight, yes. Many boss fights will be skipped, since we don't do all the quests. In fact, you can't do all the boss fights in a single game because many appears based on your choices. The challenge is about killing all the Elite Bosses. Not simple Bosses. There are 6 Elite Bosses: Sloth Demon(according to the wiki it's an elite boss), Cauthrien(at the Estate, she will turn into a normal boss if you don't kill him after you killed Howe, so we must confront her at the Estate without allowing her to capture us), Gaxkang, Flemeth, the High Dragon and the Arch Demon.
hm... 31: 23 you allow yourself to choose all the characters at once in battle and send them back in violation of the tactics and (As far as I understand) rules of the challenge... I actually already ran through Ostagar too, and due to the fact that I did not use the command allocation in battle, the Ogre accidentally attacked one of the warriors and killed him with a grip.
Nope, it's not a violation. You can command them when you give group commands(just like in a real battle, you can tell your group to "Move back!" or "Charge!" or "Hold up!" etc). You just can't switch on them to take control. :) Group commands are fine with the HC100%, only switching on a party member is forbidden. Otherwise there would be no way to re-position the party, which would make it impossible to complete the challenge. If I would not allow group commands I would never be able to use the "Hold!" command either, so they would just charge ahead recklessly all the time.
This game is amazing. Me and a friend bought the preorder collectors edition in 2008 when it was released, metalbox, cloth map etc etc. I'm actually playing a new campaign right now, AW/BM , Leilana as a 2handed cunning rogue, Shale tanking, Morrigain as healer & support. Just completed the landsmeet, let Alistar kill Loghain, put the princess in the tower.
Aside from this series, I would absolutely love if you went over every skill in a separate video/videos, commenting on general usefulness as well as niche cases. Keep it up!
I believe that if you go personally to meet both Daveth and Jory you get some extra XP. Unfortunately you already went through this Ostagar section. Also sad to see you forgot to pick up the Chasind Flatblade from the alpha wolf chest, it's a pretty good early two-handed weapon. I'm loving this series, can't wait for the next episode!
Yeah, luckily we won't need it because we won't bring any two-hander guys with us during the playthrough. At least not until we need Oghren to finish the Anvil of the Void. :)
Nope. My game can't run for 2 hours without crashing. The Circle Tower and the Siege of Denerim are both sections where I will have no option to save, but even those I will try to rush because I need to finish them in less than 1 hour 30 min, otherwise the game either crashes or turns into a laggy mess.
Why? The Original is actually easier than the LE so I don't see the point. The LE introduced non-stop enemy spawns on places where there was none in the Original. Also the original gives immediate access to dlc weapons and armor(Mattock, Phalanx, Kestrel set, Blood Armor set etc.), instead of forcing you to buy them/acquire them with credits. Hell, the best heavy pistol, the best AR and the best shotgun and the best armor sets are instantly accessible as soon as you step one foot on the Normandy. :)
@@ruzovaberuska Can you expand on that? "I'm quite convinced" does not sound like an actual reason why the original is harder. Especially after I laid it out quite clearly why the LE is harder.
@@ruzovaberuska Me: "LE is harder because you don't have instant free access to to grade A weaponry and armor, plus they changed some spawn locations to be infinite." You: "I'm quite convinced the original is harder because I feel that way. Also I played the game 106 times." Although I'm happy for your 106 playthrough, I guess we just have to agree to disagree then. :)
