The ninth part of my segmented "Combat-Playthrough" of Dragon Age Origins with my War Mage. We will finish the game by defeating Loghain, killing off all the remaining Elite Bosses, and destroying the Archdemon to end the Blight. Nightmare, no tactical pause, no healing potions, no switch off the main character, no dlc rewards, no team member falling during battle. Enjoy! :) TIME STAMPS: 0:00 THE DUEL 6:39 BONUS SPELL 7:06 MORRIGAN LEVEL 21 8:59 GAXKANG ELITE BOSS 12:18 FLEMETH ELITE BOSS(MORRIGAN'S QUEST) 20:32 THE HIGH DRAGON ELITE BOSS & ALISTAIR LEVEL 21 35:03 BACK IN REDCLIFFE 54:47 THE SIEGE OF DENERIM 1:00:49 LEVEL 22 1:07:43 STEN LEVEL 21 1:09:45 MARKET DISTRICT - HURLOCK WARRIOR GENERAL BOSS 1:11:48 THE ALIENAGE - HURLOCK EMISSARY GENERAL BOSS 1:23:19 LEVEL 23 1:26:03 THE MAIN FLOOR OF FORT DRAKON - GENLOCK CONJURER BOSS 1:26:52 MORRIGAN LEVEL 22 1:30:43 MASTER ASSASSIN BOSS 1:33:34 THE ARCHDEMON ELITE BOSS 1:39:10 THE HERO OF FERELDEN
I admire your dedication. I'm too much of a fiddly optimiser to ever not use pause and make corrections to my companions behaviour, no matter how small.
You geared Sten with Nug Crasher, I believe its from Returning to Ostagar DLC... Good walkthrough tho, I really enjoyed watching you slashed through encounters I was struggling to complete on Nightmare. Any chance you'll do the combat run in DA2 and maybe DAI?
Yes, he uses the Nug Crusher. Why? Because no dlc equipment? To avoid confusion I corrected it to "rewards", because it refers to the rewards you get after finishing things in the later dlc, which would make the early game much, much easier. :) We will see. Hopefully I can do DAI. DA2? Not sure. Maybe? :)
Well, here is how I make it comfortable for me: Your most used skills need to be placed on the left side of your quickbar, this way you can use the number keys(1-9) on the keyboard for quick action. Abilities that are useful, but situational are placed around the middle, because it is very easy for me to pull the mouse there fast, in case I need to use them. Sustainable spells/skills are going to be on the right side, so they won't be in the way when I have to use an ability fast. Only exceptions are sustainable spells/skills that will turn off once you are out of combat(like Blood Magic or Berserk). Those ones usually get to button number 1 so I can instantly activate them as soon as the combat starts. Then again, there is always tactical pause if you want to use it. Space pauses the game and you will have all the time in the world to select a spell/skill and target an enemy with it. :)
