That’s ok. It’s good to know a lot of reveals are coming up. Including the release date, speaking of which, I better preorder a PS5 copy at around August or Fall, depending on the release.
The way my soul AND spirit is ready!!!!! 😂😂. Also with you on how that’s def a weird angle on Taash. Thanks for affirming for us that they look much better in game, than how they’re capture here, cuz I was worried😭😭
It’s honestly crazy how different some of the characters look compared to the companions trailer we got during summer games fest. Davrin and Taash look particularly different, almost like they have altered face models. Emmerich from the trailer also had cartoony large eyes, so I wouldn’t be surprised if he looks different in game as well. It’s just confusing to me why they decided to change their designs for the trailer. Did they think it would make them look more expressive? Whatever reason they had, the aesthetic they went for turned a lot of people off for seemingly no reason. Makes me wonder what EAs marketing division are thinking.
Possibly the team that worked on the trailer was not familiar with the current proportions in game. Its likely that there is a bit of miscommunication going around.
Woohoo! Thanks for this. Was going to ask what you thought about “September and beyond,” as far as when Veilguard will come out, but we’ll know in a few hours!
*New Sub* RU-vid decided to recommend me to your channel finally lol. I am so looking forward to the release, and can't wait to see you streamline the game. LET'S GO!! ^^
I'm hyped for the release date and high level gameplay, but that Discord Q&A...the first one was really annoying not even because of the question to things already discussed but what new questions were asked were largely irrelevant and did nothing to sell the game to people on the fence or who don't believe it will be a solid product. For this new Q&A, I don't want these weird personality or quirky questions like "what is this character's favorite food" or "Will we get to see Solas with hair", I want questions about mechanics, story, exact lessons learned from previous titles. For the combat, I want to hear them speak on the nitty gritty details about how deep and expressive it is, what is possible BEYOND detonations, I want to hear about build customization, I want to know how much thought was put into dialogue and choices and how crazy can one get with said choices and how many actually have payoffs. Essentially I want substantive questions answers, not frivolous and irrelevant ones. In fact, people should be allowed to submit questions so that prior to the day, the host can have a curated list of questions that have been filtered so that people's time isn't wasted and excitement isn't soured.
They pull from a channel where people ask questions on the Discord already and the community manager who asks the questions has those curated. That’s how the first Q&A was done. This one will come with us knowing more, but they’re going to pick questions they can actually answer, some of which may be fun and quirky. Marketing is always more of a tease, and with a game like this, you’re not going to get down to fine details, because honestly, I’d rather get silly questions and answers than spoilers, which make up a LOT of the questions people are asking.
There is massive info in this preview,so confirmed the theory that we accidently released the elvan gods is confirmed, also Morrigan is wearing her mother's crown and she has the facial markings hinting that she took over as the gods vessel,we also see some previews of 2 god in dragon form one having red lirum markings
Well, that's something to look forward to. I really do want to see the character creator. I'm still not convinced to pre-order. But, I do want to play the game.
Yay! A release date! Now I can start planning some time off from work. I don’t want spoilers so I hope they don’t give too much away in the marketing campaign…also hoping for a September release. I’m hoping the roadmap ends there because the game is coming out.
It is most likely like end of October or an early November release date. That is according to the rumor. But anything is possible. If i had to put money on it i would say October 25th or October 31st sounds good to me.
For anyone interested, It took roughly 200+- hours to do FULL playthroughs of the previous games Do with that information what you will and see all of you in Tevinter
If, during the Developer q and a, you get the opportunity to ask about the game, would you please enquire for me about Wicked Grace? Take the chance to point out the amazing success of Queen's Blood in FF7 Rebirth, and ask whether we'll get something comparable from DA. Put it in their minds, and perhaps it will come to something.
I'm a bit disappointed none of the CC's are talking about the fact that game is banned in 16 countries. It's a bit bummer I can't play the game after waiting for 10 years. The restriction is set by EA themselves, BG3 for example isn't banned in a single country despite having similar content to Veilguard.
When I first saw that Rook, I was hoping it was an NCP you could flirt with. 😂 I’m grey-ace but BioWare keeps giving me all those Rooks I’m sad I can’t romance. 😂
I feel like they should have released a mass effect legendary style remaster for dragon age 1, 1.5, 2, & 3. Then let your import your choices from those games I to veil guard. Also maybe do a beta this year and release the full game next year based on beta feed back. Based off the trailers and info, I feel like it will be about on par with DA2 or ME 2 which were just okay but nowhere as good as the 1st or 3rd games.
I love me some Dragon Age, but I don't preorder anymore. There is NO reason to do it. Unless you want a physical collector's set there is no reason to EVER preorder a video game anymore. It's best to make sure a game launches in a good playable state before you give them your hard earned money.
Am I the only one disappointed that it’s going to be more action fast paced combat rather than the old rpg style? You also can’t control other characters. We saw the combat in their trailer and boy it looked dull. Also so far the game seems very teeny and corny too so far. Don’t know how to explain it. But it just seems too modern. Like the characters look like they are cosplaying in a California expo lol. I hope the game is serious and not cringe, safe, sanitized and childish
I’ve played plenty of games in the old RPG style and I like it, but every single Dragon Age (including Origins) was live action with pause, and this isn’t much different to me. It feels like they’ve embraced systems that are really successful in their other games and adapted it for Dragon Age, and I think that’s good because Dragon Age never had combat that was that fun, but their other games do. As for the rest of your take, hard disagree. This will be a Dragon Age game, so it’s going to be tragic with a side of wise cracking, and it’s going to have serious dark moments just like it always has.
@@proteuswest1084 I really hope so. I hope it’s great because I really loved the dragon age games. But I have very low expectations. But to be fair, I have very low expectations for all the Western Tripple A Studios today.
