I'm at it again, aren't I? This time, it's the USA/World Premiere of Dragon Ball.
I'm a little late to the party with this one, so I can't say "on this day in 1995," but you'd best know that around this time, 25 years ago, Dragon Ball took its first steps in North America.

@@bigphil0005 I think I've seen that, not sure if it's the same dub though. I burnt it to VCD or some format for Dreamcast. It's a decent movie. :)

Oh man, I was there for this. It was Fox 21 for me though. 7am, Saturday morning. You had to be there. Never missed an episode until it stopped airing.

Wait a minute, the fire-breathing Shenron and the transition to the logo are a bit different here when compared to the version of the intro that’s popular on YT. Was this just for the world premiere and they changed it later, or was that video using a reconstruction of it? Edit: Okay, I just answered my own question. The video uses the YTV version, which has a slightly less polished ending to the intro than the version from the Fox world premiere.

"Dragon Ball took it's first steps in north america" No, I'm pretty sure that was in the late 80s with harmony gold even if thise steps fell as flat as these ones did..
