​@@ultrabiohazard1344stop trying to justify modern day Dragonball because it's definitely NOT for the fans that grew up. Super COULD of been good but they dropped the ball too many times. This daima is just something to hold fans over. I wouldn't be surprised if Toei Animation sold the IP to Bandai Namco. Bandai would give us the edgy lore serious battle story the real fans want. Not whatever this is.

@@MogusMasterSaikawa22 most people who grew up with the series want to mature with it. Not revert back. Personally, I want a series that is Z like (super was not it) that builds the lore in a bit of a mature manner with fights climbing and pushing collateral, technique, transformations that sensibly tie into the storyline with consequences, space fights, action that makes one punch man and modern day action seem dull..... instead, we get Dragonball chibi musical adventures. I swear even Dragonball wasn't this lightly toned especially after tien and piccolo showed up that's when it really got good. Dragonball to Dragonball Z was a complete genre change (action/adventure comedy) to (action battle opera ). Most are wanting the latter with a GOOD expansion (super is a terrible representation of a sequel to Z, doesn't mean it can't be done). Clear indication they have no idea wtf to do at this point. The animation is nice, literally everything else about this is braindead......... I don't even want super back either it was a dumpster fire.. The excuse Dragonball was a gag manga and never took itself seriously stops at Z in some aspects. Modern day Dragonball has turned into a parody shell of it's former self riding off of tropes and nostalgia. This is just a small side story tbh there will be many more of these cashgrabs. My concern is the fans infiltrating from other series trying to change Dragonball into a romcom slice of life adventure series where action takes a backseat while other anime have implemented the Z style in their battles far outclassing modern day Dragonball in the thing it's supposed to be held in high regard for. This is not pushing the envelope. Real fans want better for their series and this ain't it either. Just another addition of something that is just there........
