Watched this before finishing super. Thought "That was funny, can't wait to see Jiren's backstory with dragons for real." I thought it was a legit storyline and it was an inside joke I didn't get. Jiren was so boring, I thought this was his actual backstory.

The second GT Goku left Jiren with Shenron (a dragon) i thought Jiren would be more triggered than that. But it still works. Moral of the story: Never trust Dragons of any kind. Including Shenron and Charizard (technically not a dragon but still looks like one).

Goku was riding Shenron just to troll Jiren all this time.
