I’m pretty sure gogeta got all murder-y when the soul punisher didn’t work. It punishes souls. Yet broly survived, meaning he wasn’t evil, but he was an uncontrolled threat to earth. It went from evil man here to kill, to not evil person, but someone they still had to put down. Imagine getting told you have to kill a rabid wolf terrifying your village, but you realise it’s actually just an abused dog, you can’t not kill it, it’s hurting people, but you can’t feel morally okay after that. So gogeta went from punishing, and having fun, to having to finish a job that he didn’t like, he smirked when he saw broly escape. He has made the choice to put the dog down, but suddenly the dog wasn’t a threat anymore, everything he cared about was safe, including broly.

I never get tired of seeing gogeta just take out all his bent up rage out on Broly. Like you said this man was ready to kill. But to be fair Vegeta has talked about how saiyans sometimes get so into a fight that one of them sometimes gets killed

This fight is crazy when you consider Gogeta was holding back the whole time. Like in base, he only used a fraction of a fraction of his strength, and in SSJ, he decided to use a fraction of his strength + SSJ multiplier then in SSB, only half of his power + SSB multiplier. Bro literally held back because he didn't want ☠️ Broly as Goku knew Broly wasn't evil. However, Goku and Vegeta only know fighting as a form of calming someone down which makes sense when their kids can always fight back 😅 (This use to be in the archives section on the DB website when the movie came out but eventually got moved off to save memory as the site gets updated all the time as they do. It even included some of the extra script that couldn't get animated because of run time.) Additionally, the part at 6:28 when they shatter dimensions does actually make sense. Broly is LSSJ his power constantly grows when he's Beserk. Gogeta in SSJ with a fraction of his power plus the SSJ multiplier Kamehameha colliding with Broly's mouth beam was so strong it fractured dimensions. Also, Gogeta didn't miss the *Stardust Shower* (the volley of ki blast that he shoots down) at 8:21. In order to explain this, I need to explain SSB. SSB is the combination of SSG + SSJ, which means that it is the balance of calm and fury or the calm in the fury. Now the fusion dance always makes a fusion that is perfectly balanced this is why Gogeta gets stardust and soul moves as some of Goku couldn't physically be added in so instead it's converted to energy for Gogeta hence it's ability to destroy evil souls as Goku is a pure soul. In conclusion, if you combine both of those and Gogeta using half his power with that form, then a perfectly timed counter punch against Broly would cause their balanced energy to cancel the punch and create a shockwave powerful enough to put them back in their dimension. The stardust shower was a distraction, so he could bait Broly into a punch. 9:40 🤣 those aren't rasengans they are just his ki a fusion Goku's extra parts (stardust energy), and god ki. Gogeta just threw normal blast at him until Goku decided to show Vegeta that Broly truly isn't evil by using the stardust breaker which had no effect on Broly as he is a pure soul thus proving he isn't evil but instead just completely out of control 😂 Still a funny comparison though. 11:50-12:37 is a combo leading up to the *God Punisher* the technique he does at 12:38-12:44 (basically they ripped off Trunks's fire geyser technique but used raw stardust god ki instead.) At 12:51 even though you didn't show it but Gogeta does a little hand movement before starting the Kamehameha which is important as the hand movement signified that he is using the *True Kamehameha* (The same one Roshi used in OG DB to save them when they first met. A Kamehameha so powerful it could erase it's opponents before they felt anything and split the sea allow the sand underneath to be visible all while almost making it all the way back behind it's user if left active long enough. The Kamehameha you all know that all other variations are based on is actually one Goku invented off of pure memory in order to get Roshi to train him. [Yes that's also why manga Goku could copy Beerus's hakai from pure memory in the black arc.]) The *True Kamehameha* with Gogeta still holding back with the power of SSB as the ice caps were on thin ice would have ☠️ Broly before he even noticed making it a painless and quick process. However, as you saw the technique is extremely powerful and Gogeta's power added to it made it so the pressure of Kamehameha could be felt by Broly (a Kamehameha is raw energy concentrated and this is it's truest form) a power so strong it started to bring Broly back to his senses.

Didn't even talk about Gogeta literally beating Broly BACK to his senses. They smacked the crazy right out of him. Right before he got tp'd home, you can see his eyes are back to normal. Edit: Holy hell. 210 likes? You all rock! Thanks!
