TrueUnderDawgGaming I can't get this combo to work. After I do the second down heavy in the sky, I can't continue the combo. I'm not wasting both air cancel early. I wonder why I can't do it

For anyone picking up piccolo you can delay the hellzone grenade for the hard knockdown forcing them to block it on wake up with easy mixup

yea, the beauty of this combo is if you miss the timing for the combo, they are locked in block stun and you get the easy mix up

Great combo. A little late to the piccolo curve lmao, but a tip for people having trouble timing the delayed heavy after the medium in the air just hit medium twice for each kick then press heavy to down heavy. Its better then just waiting for it and pretty much a guaranteed timing.

JAG COMICS I’ve found that he’s much better at teaching than applying which is fine we’re all good at one part of the game, and he doesn’t have much to practice also

You can extend it to three supers by using an assist, SSJ Goku and Black beam type assist are the easiest to use not sure if others work. Do the above combo, then assist with the 5H and cancel back into a Hellzone Grenade, then finish with the ender of Beam Cannon or LVL 3 after the grabs.

After jump canceling the j.2H you should do LLL 214M and let both hits of the j.M hit instead of just one like in the video. That way the combo does exactly 64% from the same scenario and meter cost.

Does this still work? Piccolo is my favorite character so I wanted to add him to the collection of characters I play. J, LLL Seems to not connect at all. I've been trying for like 45 mins to no avail. The entire string just misses

tbh the 55% is good enough honestly i wouldnt use light grenade or special beam cannon at that point unless i needed to (multiple enemies wont even combo into the full thing due to the grabs during hellzone so thats out of the question) so basically only if it would kill.

Moogle Sennin I’ll take a look! Thankfully, a friend of mine who plays Blazblue looked at the combo and told me to do the jump cancel as 569 L (so reset to neutral, forward, up-forward + L) and it became way more consistent.

It's all about hit confirming. When you see the 2H hit, you can just hold 9 and press L. Talk to yourself while doing the combo, don't mash any buttons. Just repeat the inputs out loud or mumble to yourself. You'll see that it works like a charm.

So I finally figured it out. The at the last hit before the jump, you shouldn't let the second hit come out. The way it's being done in the video is for specific characters with specific hight. So just jump after the first kick lands.

This combo doesn't work on smaller characters. I've tried. After the super dash combo, you cannot l.jab after heavy again.

ArcanumDragon good thing there are a few small chararacters in the game and the rest are average, doubt you are gonna see a gotenks as common as you would cells, 16, vegito, etc

I swear, the timing for the last part of the aerial combo is strict as hell. Immediately after I do down heavy in the air, I mash the fuck out of my control stick and mash the fuck out of the light button, and Piccolo never Chase's them.

After the second down heavy, my combo just cant connect, the enemy flies up, and i cant connet the light light light. Any idea?

I had this same problem and found out its a hitbox issue with certain characters...I know for certain that it doesn't work on trunks, 16, and surely some others, but it works on frieza, cell, and most likely others. The poster didn't note this, but a universal combo for just 3% less damage is: same combo except after super dash do, heavy, down heavy, jump cancel, medium (1 hit) heavy x medium slicer. The posted combo is unreliable unless you know which chars it works for...

They nerfed Piccolo because of his rise in popularity (loops) I assume? This combo doesnt seem to work anymore, I used to be able to do it consistently but now the second special grab whiffs no matter the timing :/

It's a good combo but unfortunately it only works on some characters, works on berries and cell but black just gets out whenever I try the jump 3 lights at the end :/

So slight edit, I was labbing this combo some more and you can get it to work on shorter characters by taking out the second 5h and just doing m 2h lll then the demon claw, less damage but much more reliable and not that much less damage

Never even heard of him. It's more important that good combos like these get spread around, and he is doing just that. I've seen many people use/try this combo so I don't think it really matters who made it anymore.
