1er opening de la série TV Dragon Ball (1986) en version blu-ray, sortie fin 2022 en France.
Format 4/3, Upscale HD par une IA, retour du grain, et son dual mono japonais de qualité, autant de points qui confirment qu'il s'agit sans aucun doute de la meilleure version blu-ray de Dragon Ball sortie à ce jour (à moins qu'un véritable scan HD du master 16mm ne sorte, on peut toujours rêver ^^)

Sadly, Akira Toriyama passed away😢 Thank you for bringing one of the best manga series of all time, Dragon Ball. Hoping for the release of french bluray part 2 soon, and preserve this master piece once for good.

God, this upscale is just as beautiful as I was told. Gonna make an eventual Funimation Blue Brick Blu Ray all the more disappointing when it pales in comparison. Assuming, of course, that they ever rerelease any pre Battle Of Gods content that doesn't have a Z on it.

I cant believe we completed dbz series by waiting every afternoon via antena and analog television. Everytime we failed to watch one part due to lightning we wait years make sure not to skip it. Nowadays so easy 😆

I saw Z up to Trunks leaving after telling Goku about the cyborgs so many times and by time they were showing new episodes my subscription ran out and I went about another year then paid £250 for like 200 vcds of vhs rips that were terrible quality and watched OG - GT.

Basically this is a Japanese Dubbed Blu Ray Set. But the French managed to release with perfect color correction without a dumbass filter like funimation always puts on their home releases of Dragon Ball Z

France didn't have this opening back in the day. They had it changed by something much worse back which was also spread to other European countries in the late eighties/early nineties. I think Spain was one of the very few countries in Europe which managed to retain the opening intact and dub it (in five languages no less).

@@user-ko1vv4zo8bplus it's region B so you need a blu ray player that can play B region stuff, or convert the episodes into digital files on a pc, there's no English audio or subs but if you've got sub files synced to the dragon box it's fairly easy to add them, and you get the crispy Japanese broadcast audio which is a first for official releases.
