Dragon Ball (ドラゴンボール, Doragon Bōru) is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Akira Toriyama. It was serialized in Weekly Shōnen Jump from 1984 through 1995, and its 519 individual chapters were published into 42 tankōbon volumes by Shueisha. Inspired by the Chinese folk novel Journey to the West, it follows the adventures of its lead character, Son Goku from his childhood into old age. The manga series is licensed for an English language release in North America by Viz Media, in the United Kingdom by Gollancz Manga, and in Australia and New Zealand by Chuang Yi.
Dragon Ball has since been adapted into three different anime series, seventeen animated feature films, three television specials, a collectible trading card game, and a large number of video games. A live-action film has been in development since 2002, and is now slated for release on April 10, 2009.

Cuantos recuerdos!! Era un niño de 5-6 años pero recuerdo como volaba Goku en la nube voladora rumbo a la base de la patrulla roja con esta canción de fondo mientras mostraban escenas de los delitos y horrores que hacían sus soldados, uno solo deseaba que Goku llegara rápido para darles su merecido.

Not really. Goku plows through them with little to no difficulty. So, they're Team Rocket before Team Rocket except they don't stick around and stalk Goku.

@@Gardetrace Well, they have Tao Pai Pai and Blue, both of whom were relatively competent, which I would say gives them a leg up on Team Rocket.

@@MrElbowsmash Tao Pai Pai wasn't actually a member of the Red Ribbon Army, he was just a hired assassin. Their strongest member was General Blue, but Tao easily killed him off. The one that gave Goku the most trouble in the Red Ribbon Army Arc wasn't even an member.

I've been looking forever for the song when goku is in the heat of battle or something really epic is going down, but there doesn't seem to be a released song of it... Does anyone know what im talking about?? god i wish you could type out sounds.. this would be so much simplier to explain lol umm like when goku is dodging the missiles the RR army is firing at him, its playing, dun dun dun, dun na na, na na na x2 lol

In Japanese they sorta pronounce L&R, and V&B the same or some pronounce it as R some as L etc, they don't "notice" the difference.

Exactly that's what I don't understand considering DBZ came later. If anything the music should have improved but this composer wasn't in DBZ and there were hardly any songs if any in DBZ apart from intro/ending.
