Goku’s got a point. Are the Saiyans white, Asian, another ethnicity entirely? I hear it all the time, “Justin Chatwin as Goku is white washing”. But seeing as how Goku is a literal alien, is that really accurate? I’m not trying to be an asshole, I’m genuinely asking.

Except sweet and salty go amazingly well together, which is why you have things like salted caramel ice cream or a little thing called BARBECUE. Speaking of which a kebab with grilled chicken, onions, bell peppers, and pineapple sounds lovely right now. Or the burger Goku ordered.
But sweet and sour pork (reg or hong kong style) has pineapples in it and no one complains? Some people have it with salted chips instead of rice. Or what about roasted ham and pineapple? You have that on a sunday roast. I just don't get it? Pineapple on pizza makes sense I mean they put fruit in or on other things, like cheese with apple and apricot, apple sauce on roasted pork and cranberry sauce on turkey. To me that's normal. It's weird and funny that everyone get's all up in arms about fruit on pizza, when there are fruit on other dishes. lol.

@@ajgameguy3674 Oh he absolutely _did_ need to go there. That was Goku's only valid argument in that whole scene: that Vegeta should have known what was eventually coming when he replaced Piccolo. Everything else, I totally side with Vegeta on.
The therapy session with Goku, Vegeta and Whis killed me... God, that would have been the most hilarious running gag, especially cause they could have Kami and Nail start to give Piccolo an inferiority complexes from having been reduced from Rival to Babysitter xD

What an amazing improvement that wouldve been, I it's a "G Gundam" line but Future Trunks taking down Zamasu after some powerful words and implying that might be the end (really shouldve). I have mixed feelings about dbz kai but I do wonder what doing that for og dragonball and super especially would be like. P.s. I like gt but you either skip like 15eps or dont, the rest if anything probably could've been longer (I actually wish they'd done golden Frieza then and just took him out, then made cooler canon to it as the films were with Dragon fist, mystic water, unleashed hfil) and have him be the "main frost" demon instead of milking Frieza to death.
There are some scenes from DBS that were already funny (such as Beerus dressing up in a weird costume while fighting Goku to cover up a lie he told) so I would've loved to see TFS's take on them.
Prestin Brown well we don't have the English (Funimation) Dub version of it to compare to, only the Japanese version and the other languages that have it dubbed (like Spanish)

These really do well to succinctly sum up everything TFS did right with their series. Comedy, dramatic moments, creative edits, character moments, improving on the original source material. Each one of these is the perfect example of the different elements that made TFS' abridged series so damn good.

The thing I love about Beerus saying “Excuse you and your entire race?” is that it implies one of two things. Either A, all Saiyans have a thing for pineapple on pizza or B that Beerus sees Goku as an honorary human full knowing he’s a saiyan.

@@spandexspoon I don't even get the issue people have with pineapple on pizza. We literally have pineapple slices on cooked ham for holidays, having the combo on a pizza ain't much different and we've had worse like anchovies. Now I personally prefer grilled chicken paired with pineapple instead of ham and an alfredo/parmesan sauce instead of tomato.
"TAKE THIS, MY LOVE! MY HOPE! AND ALL OF MY SORROW! Spirit, SWOOOOOOOORD!" this will for me personally be the best Trunks line ever. It's as some have said, even better than the actual dub.
The joke is that the entire speech was lifted from another anime called G Gundam (basically Gundam, but instead of shooting each other, the Gundams throw hands). The main character, Domon Kashu, uses that speech before he ends a fight with his Gundam's signature move. Obviously some elements are changed to fit the DBZ universe, but I recognized it immediately and got nostalgia flashbacks.
It’s a real shame the show isn’t coming back. These scenes were so good, I was excited to see what they’d do with friezas return, seeing more of their version of beerus, and getting the tournament of power abridged. Maybe one day it could happen

I still find it hard to believe that tfs has stopped making dragon ball z abridged, it was truly a wild ride guys and im keeping this video up so we remember the good times with dbza

Beerus got shit taste for someone who call himself an epicurean. here's an explanation why pineapple taste good on pizza when you eat a lot of fatty food your taste bud can and will get tired of it, this psychologically slow you down and make food less appetizing. this can be fixed if you throw in a tart flavor to contrast from the umami. this is why hamburger taste great when you add ketchup, or why bbq is not complete without sweet tangy bbq sauce. this concept is applied to pizza as well. take away the tomatoes, the only thing bringing the sweet/sour content of the dish and all you got is cheese melted over flatbread. try eating that and see if you can even finish a quarter of it.

1:01 all I ever needed but didn't know I wanted 🙏🏼 It was a blessing to find these after finishing DBZA and movies. I really love their Trunks. I didn't watch that much of G Gundam but as a fan of Wing, I'm so happy they used it. Gundam is so hammy but they really put their heart and soul into it.
What I love about Goku Black in this is that he's still TFS Goku at heart, especially the "you're taking it too literally....or....not literally enough....??"
