Dragon Ball Xenoverse: How To Easily Get Dragon Balls Fast (Guaranteed Method) 

Actually Rhymestyle, the fastest way to get the Dragon Balls, which works 80% of the time for me and maybe a lot of other people, is to do parallel quest 12. Because the Time Patroller is the very first person you will see, if he/she is not there, just retry the stage again.

I like quest 12 better, the patroller is the first thing to show up.

I see a lot of people arguing in the comments about which PQ is faster to farm Dragon Balls. (PQ 2 - This one in the Video. Or, PQ 12/18 - The Ginyu Force ones.) I've collected the DB multiple times, so I'll break it down like this; First! Yes, technically, time-wise, PQ 2 is indubitably faster than PQ 12/18. (This is timing the length of each from START to FINISH, considering each mission spawns a Time Patroller AND you getting a Key Item.) Now, even tho PQ 2 is faster, (by time) PQ 12/18 is faster in spawning a Time Patroller. (Obviously) Also, even tho PQ 2 is faster by total time, PQ 12/18 FEELS faster due to you knowing whether or not you're getting a Dragon Ball without having to fight ANY of the Mission Enemies. And I agree. Once again, even tho PQ 2 is faster overall, I DO prefer the Ginyu mission for that very reason stated above. And after I see that "Key Item" pop up on my screen, I'm so excited and relieved that I'm barely paying attention to the rest of the mission & jus ZOOMING right through it so fast! Lol On the other hand, PQ 2 is okay, but it feels like it takes FOREVER. Forget actually GETTING a Key Item, it feels like it's taking hours, especially when several times in a row the Patroller doesn't even APPEAR! I feel like I jus wasted even more time fighting them. Whereas, in the Ginyu mission, once I immediately see a TP & get a DB, the rest of the mission is a worry free cakewalk! :D Also, a point to point out. PQ DOES give you more money and XP if you need it, than PQ 2. So, I like both. I prefer The Ginyu Force PQ tho.

Just a heads up! If you have a team with you when you are fighting a time patroller it is ESSENTIAL that you get the final hit because if you don't it will give you a material item and nothing else, so I recommend that you do the mission you are doing alone...

DUDE RHYMESTYLE WTF MAN! DO YOU NOT READ THE COMMENTS? It's called PQ12. You start it up and if the time patroller doesn't spawn when the game begins, hit reset. Repeat. THE VERY FIRST THING YOU FIGHT is the time patroller! If it doesn't drop a "key item" hit reset. Repeat! Waaaaaaay easier and faster than both your methods bro!

Honestly, it's better to do PQ #12. The Time Patroller shows up in the first area (if the RNGs are kind), meaning that you don't need to fight before knowing whether you need to retry. This also gives you time to charge up your Ki to unleash your Ultimates on said Patroller (or go SSJ if Saiyan).

MISSION 12 is by far the fastest...its exactly like mission 19 everyone talks about but its lower level so the enemies die faster. Mission 2 and 15 dont even compete. On a side note, you MUST GET THE LAST HIT on the time patroller for BETTER CHANCES at the dragon ball. If you let your teammates knock out the patroller then you will notice that a second item typically doesnt drop.

Mission 19 The Return of the Ginyu Force is the best option. Time Patroller spawns literally in front of us and you hit retry if he doesn't drop the ball or doesn't spawn at all. If he does, just complete the mission. That's the fastest and easiest way.

Rhymestyle sorry If you see this again lol: Guys I have this tutorial that has been working for me to get Dragon balls. Do parallel quest 12 and at the very beginning you should see a time patroller, if you dont retry until you do. Once you see the patroller (this is only a theory and has helped me 100 percent to get key items instead of material) Look through your scouter and pick up all the material items you see then fight the time patroller. The game will then force you to get a Key item instead of the material items due to the ones you picked up. Then complete the mission and claim your prize! I'm copying and pasting this too all farming tutorial btw ;)

From my experience the lower your level the more often the patroller spawns. I did it with my level 15 character and the patroller was popping up every time.

Quest 12 is a 3-30 second restart. If they don't spawn immediately, restart. If you beat them an no dragonball, restart. No need to beat anyone before that. The time you spend killing them and waiting is 3-4 times of restarting a no spawn on 12.

Personally, I like doing PQ 12/18 to farm dragonballs. No fighting with anyone else except with the patroller in the beginning when you start off at capsule corp, keep retrying if the patroller doesn't show up, if key item doesnt drop, return to the city and try again. least its how i do it. I like it that way alot better

The more dragon balls you get, the lower the drop rate becomes for other dragon balls. This is why it starts to become more difficult and longer to get all 7.

You can use this exact same method for the return of the Ginyu Force parallel quest the difference is that you don't have to fight anyone they show up on the first map as soon as you spawn in. Just thought I'd let you know.

Hey guys these is what I use to get dragon balls fast I usually get a dragon ball every one or two match with a time patroller 1. Be at a least level 80 I find the higher level the time patroller the higher the chance of a rarer items(dragon balls) 2. Play as a dlc character I find myself get dragon balls more often when I use goku (gt) more then anyone else 3. Play the parallel quest rhymestyle talks about in the video because it's easiest mission to go though if you get a dragon ball so u don't have to worry about losing that's it I hope helps some of you guys and girls :D

i believe i know a way to get a key item everytime, you have to have a perfect run, which means you can't get hit by your opponents before the time patroller spawns in, and you can't get hit by the time patroller when you challenge him, i did a test where i meat the time patroller first on lets train, what i did is i use super vegeta and blue hurricane as a over powered combination where its really difficult for them to hit you, and once i got untouchable match with the time patroller, it gave me a dragon ball

19 is the best one. 90% of the time a time patroller spawns behind you before you even fight anyone an if you don’t get it you can just try again till you get it

Parallel quest 12 is a lot faster

There's a faster way, Rhymestyle. Open up the three star Parallel Quests and go to Fierce Battle! Ginyu Force! A Time Patroller can appear in the far back sometimes without fighting anyone at all! Just retry until they're there.

Go back and forth between 2 and 12. And retry if you dont get a key item or Time Patroller.

I think when you collect all the dragonballs you can save them up that way so when you are maxed out you can get go to the next level

actually yoush ould do quest 12. the time patroller may spawn right in front of you and that way you know right away once you kill him/her that you have it or not. if you dont have it you just restart the mission.

I did this method about 50 times in a row and not once did the patroller even spawn, but I have found out that on PQ. 15 if you finish off freiza with an ultimate attack for some unknown reason that seems to spawn the patroller a lot more often.

Every now and again you could if you're reading this you go to parallel Quest 15 then you get the ultimate finish on Frieza and that time patroller then you might get a reward with a dragon ball I'm a big fan

I've completed the story, level 85, destroyed what seems like 100s of these time patrollers. I got one drop on a match where I lost. That's it.. are they really that uncommon?

***** Got a (bug fix? feature request? not sure....) When you go into Versus mode to battle an AI, you can still back out of the menu in character select but once you get to stage select you can't go back anymore. So if you change your mind about doing a battle or which character to use, it's too late cause you're locked in (or if you're like me and haven't beaten the game yet and like to check to see what stages you have unlocked, you can't do it without also going into a battle after you look at the stage select). Would be nice if we could still hit 'O' and get out of the stage select menu. Pass it on to Bandai Namco if you can, thanks!

***** there's a even faster method which involves playing the PQ called "Fierce Battle! Ginyu Force". The 9 by thing you have to do is spawn and move forward to see if there's a patroller. No battles or anything. Shout out to my friend Ari for showing me this method.

Guys IDONT KNOW WHAT HAPPENED BUT WHEN I USED THE DRAGON BALLS IT GRANTED ME THE WISH IWANTED AND IT STILL STAYED IN MY INVENTORY

Also, from someone who has done all the other wishes(I have all characters moves and accessories), it's not hard to get them. I think they are 50/50 on dropping a dragon ball. The only question is do you already have that ball? If you already have the 2 star ball and the patroller has the 2 star ball, they give you a mixing item instead. The last ball is a pain a lot of the time. Pro tip: if you don't use the mixing items, sell them. Some sell for 30,000 zenny.

Quest 12 man. A time patroller can spawn before you even fight anyone. If they dont just keep retrying till you see em (they're far away but still visible)

I think I'm in a lobby with u right now.I'm standing beside u with the Trunks GT costume on.

(note this tells you a descent method that worked really fast for me its a 45 sec to 1 min 20 second read.) Another one i found is mission 19 lets train its easier you level up if your lvl 80, Plus restarting at the beginning in the sky you'll see a patroller. Its easy but not the fastest unless your at max level i see the patroller shows up more often in this quest for sure, EVEN for the seventh dragon ball but still may take a few minutes for that one still. From MY experience i had this method work for me i get all 7 in just 30 to 40 minutes.(If you tried this and it took longer you can massage me I'll reply with the answer.AND YES i know some people KNOW this method works).

12 is better cuz you start out without any enemies simply use your scouter to indicate where the time patroller is if he or she isnt there restart.

parallel quest 19 is the best the about 70% chance patrolle is in front of waste land at the start of the game

I did parallel quest number 2 15 times in a row and the time patroller showed up most of the time and guess what he did not give me a dragon ball ever.

A mother easy way to get Dragon balls is do the mission where u fight the form of begets and bardock and nappa in there great ape forms and u will fight a time patroller and u have to use a finisher move like super kamehameha or whatever but you can a Dragon ball like that hope my tip worked cause it worked for me

12 is better because you don't have to fight then retry you can simply just retry if a patroller doesn't spawn

Nooooo!!! Do the ginyu force mission!! That way you don't have to fight tien, krillin, and yamcha over and over again. Mission 15 you see if you have a patroller and a dragonball right away!

how u only do 3 parallel quest and get 7 dragon balls?

Difficulty 3 mission two at start look for the other side of the capsule corp. building for patroller if not there retry then repeat til you get one and there is my easy way hope it helps.

using melee only on Tien, Krilin , Yamcha will cause the time patroller to appears MORE Often (8 out of 10), But FINSHING the time patroller with MELEE ALWAYS gets the dragon ball (10 out of 10). this was an experiment with mine and my brothers characters.

As long as you do a PQ mission alone, you can retry without going back to the city for any of them. You know that right?

Do this PQ with the z soul that starts you at full ki, use wide range ultimate (like Super Electric Strike, Super Vanishing Ball, or Ultra Fighting Bomber) and this quest will be faster than PQ12 just because it should take so little time to kill Krillin, Tien, and Yamcha and the quest is faster to finish than PQ12

Even with this method, the obnoxious RNG in the game will still make it a grind. You are still at the mercy of luck as to whether or not the patroller will even drop the dragonball. Its so stupid. :(
