jaguarstar 90 trophies? Isn’t that the reason 4 doing this inn the 1. Place? 1. Get all trainings Almost half off all trophies 2. You need max affection to get another trophy 3. You need all attacks inn game to get 2 trophies. Or archiviments if you play on xbox or PC.
For anybody that doesn't know already, to get Goku as your mentor you need to be at least level 70. To get Beerus you need to complete Goku's training.
Just as a note if anyone struggles with Super-Super Ultimate Series of Battles (kid trunks' mission). You can get the z-soul from sparring with Tien that nulls all Kamehameha attacks. So the end of the mission is breeze since Gohan, and Goku can't Ultimate lock, or even damage you with their Ultimates. I think its called something like Haaaaaaaah! or something.
dbxenoverse.wikia.com/wiki/Z-Souls It's here ctrl+f and type haa it will be there just checked, or just scroll down to the bottom it is like the last z-soul listed.
I prefer PQ 52, great ape festival. The great apes are super easy to KO, because it's a high level quest it gives a lot of EXP so it can level you up and also you have a dragon ball chance at the end.
cameron wood I agree. You can almost always at least A rank this mission since one of the hidden requirements is to defeat it in 10 mins, yet it can be done in under 5 with any average level character.
Yea PQ 52 is legitimately the best quest to level up your Character/Mentor and If you bring your mentor along for the quest you'll level them up even faster. However if you're trying to level up a character and you just wanna spam a move that will do massive damage i have found that high basic attacks does wonders like two hits if you do it right and for ki blast spammers use special beam cannon because that move can't be blocked so it does full damage on the apes and for people with high strike supers do Blue Hurricane all day every day you'll finish it in 4 minutes tops
You could use the mentor's moves in the story to level them up quickly as well because that's the actual reason they give you moves is so u can use them in the story
Wow, this is my first time trying this method and it gave me the three star dragon ball, more than half of my Gotenks training XP bar thing and let me do most of his training. Works like a charm! Thanks Thundershot!
I've had the game since the day it came out and I never knew there was a mentor meter next to their icons until I watched this video. Wow I'm stupid. Well atleast I only have one master left to finish, which is Hercule...
A good mission to do is PQ52. It can give you up to 80,000 xp, and a dragon ball (from a time patroller in training), and if you are too low of a lvl to complete (cuz it is PQ52), then you can do it online). In the quests you have to defeat Great Ape Bardock, Vegeta, and Nappa, and the xp given is 35,000-85,000
I do not have a ki spam character and I beat it but I did spam my ultimate when it got to the 1 vs 3 parts I used the android ultimate I think it's called super electric strike or something like that, it has a wide range of attack, also bring all healing items I'd suggest a large and z health then an all team large and z healing items for maximum results, and if you find yourself using up all your items there's a Frieda z soul that will revive you after your death but it doesn't full heal so be careful
I want to point out, choosing the same character as a partner works to a degree. Say you take Vegeta as a master. Selecting him as a partner works, now if you want him as the second slot you need to change his loadout/appearance. something really cool with Vegeta is that taking SSGSS Vegeta works as well! I've tested this
My way of leveling up mentors is just to parallel quest 1 and let my mentor and whoever i picked as a teamate kill them, and parallel quest 1 is fast and super easy so i jut put down my controller and do others things.
Yo dude found out some other stuff may be of use first of all you can level master fater by leveling up a low level character they love that ......second you can level a character super fact by Spamming PQ 53 a low level can complete it just have your comrades distract brolly while you collect the three dragonballs
Clever, I kinda like the low level idea, so that. comes handy, and before you ask, yes, I am kinda late to do the master levling. Never gave it much tought on my 1. Playtrough off the game
Thanks thunder it helped a lot. What I though you had to do was level up your character so I leaves up my character like 15 times nothing happened then I saw this video did exactly what you did like twice leveled him thanks again you da real MVP
the part about vegeta needing a zsoul isn't completely true. I kept raising his bar but he just wouldn't tech me until I found it. when I did I was able to learn his last two skills back to back cuz my bar was full already
the one about talking to your mentor really works, i just found out recently too. i talked to my mentor and apart from giving you items, it raises the mentor bar, i talked to my current mentor at the time and then the blue question mark popped up after i finished talking with them so it really does work to talk to them. you can see that what they say changes as their mentor bar increases
Wow!! Thundershot you were right about talking to ur mentor cuz I'm training under Beerus right now and he didn't have a question mark above his head and then I did a pq still no question mark and then I talked to him and here comes the question mark
For the starters, a Ki spam character going with Piccolo is a solid choice. Particularly for Saiyans (and Freeza, who blocks more than most characters). I like using SSJ Vegeta and spamming Special Beam Cannon. One, because there's no buildup. Second, because it's unblockable. It is a bit slower than Final Shine and doesn't have the mobility of Blue Hurricane, but it has better range and a quick reload window. With 5 Ki bars, I can usually get about 6 off. Not that 6 is necessary for most fights. Whis & Beerus is the only one i can think of outside the SSGSS DLC PQs. It's a solid, fast reset Ultimate that you can pair with any poses, strike supers or special techs, and gives a nice breather against Ki spammers like Goku, or aggressive brawlers like Trunks. So spam your pose, hit an Ultimate. And pretty soon you'll have 14 masters maxed. Aside from requiring Zsouls, the characters also require certain levels to train, so just keep at it and watch for event days for even more exp drops.
You don't really need to spam your masters move, but you have to score a high rank after every battle in order to get a good reaction from your master, the higher you end battle rank score, the better your master will praise you, acquiring level ups as well.
To be honest I kinda already knew about this, I figured it out one day while I was bored grinding and didn't know who to bring as my partners. So I decided to bring my master and some random character because I got tired of just bringing the same characters over and over but when I check the progress with my master after I brought him with me on a few quest I had noticed that the bar had increased pretty quick. I'm not sure if this works when you do online quest as well because if your one person sort or someone disconnects from the battle sometimes you master will jump in the fight to help.
Also along with picking your mentor as your partner you yourself be your mentor, they have the moves they teach you so you can spam them that way as well but by playing as them it boosts it the same as you picking them as your partner so it goes even faster
I used to know exactly how this system works but i havnt played the game in along time so Ican't remember but I can confirm without a doubt that equiping their move does nothing, let alone using it. I can also confirm you don't have to have them as your partner and in fact i've leveled up a couple mentors by using someone related to them for example using trunks to level up vegeta or gohan to level up goku. It worked for me then you can use goku -and- gohan instead of 2 gokus so you dont get bored out of your mind. But really the only thing that matters is having one as your mentor or using your mentor instead of your cac, or using a character related to them (doesnt work all the time). Nothing else matters, at all. However don't just talk to them once. Talk to them 3 times. I can't tell you how many times Igot a queston mark after the 3rd time. Because first time they say something. 2nd time they give you something. 3rd time they have a ? mark but again this is dependent on their bar. Another thing I'm surprised no one has noticed. The bars stop at 25%, 50%, 75%, and 99%. Now they are all different. Some won't stop at 25% and will go all the way to 50% and top, then go to 75% and stop, then go to 99% and stop. I think one person went to 75% and gave me two quests right in a row and then went to the 99% mark. Now when the bar stops gaining increases, that means you are ready for the next level of training. However. IT IS 100% RNG. So you need to be sure you hit the exp cap for that level of training then talk to them 3 times. If they do not train you DO ANY MISSION and return and try again. You wont gain anything to your bar, no matter how many missions you do, until you hit the RNG and clear that next training. I could make a more detailed guide if I had my game but honestly I cna't believe people havnt figured this out by now, tbh it was one of the first things I went to figure out.
I've found that doing time patrols also works, and you can do all of the patrols in about an hour. Usually that can get through half of the meter or more, depending on the mentor and how much you move spam.
I've got Captain Gynu as my mentor and he's meter is at zero, even though I've done tons of missions with Gynu a d used the special move. It's kind of a pain when other mentors meters go up so fast but Gynu's is slow
For me, after I beat the game, whenever i got a new mentor I would make a new character with mentor as my partner and then go do the Broly dragon ball mission.
non of these methods really work for old kai since: A. he isn't playable B. he doesn't actually give you any moves till the end. what seems to work best for him actually is fighting alone and talking to him. i'd suggest doing great ape festival since the level cap has been raised to 99 and i'm pretty sure most people aren't there yet. high level parallel quest, good exp, dragon ball chance, and the ape's are pretty easy to kill.
for those who still do not think the final tip works it does and i know because it happened to me with cell, I just talked to him and boom he had a question mark above his head
Okay, question. I have Frieza as my mentor but he is training you in his first form so will having him partner up on his final/full power/golden form help level him up or does it need to be his first form?
Hello big fan of yours and i was just wondering what if your mentors are Gohan and Videl are you supposed to select 2 Videl's or two Gohan's or does it not matter I'm confused on that i would really appreciate the help
Yes talking to your mentors dose boost the mentor mentor meter or whatever you want to call it i know cause it happen to me when i was training with both cell and vegeta
What you said about talking to them works, i went up to my mentor and he didn't have the question mark above his head i talk to him when i was done he had a question mark.
I am wondering if someone can answer a question I can't seem to advance the Vegeta Mentor I have the Required Z-soul and the rep is maxed out and its still not working. Does anyone know maybe why this is happening?
