He is actually pretty strong. Not the strongest human. Krillen, Tien, Roshi, and yes, even Yamcha top that list. But Mr "Hercule" Satan did win a world tourney so he's up there with the strongest AVERAGE humans. The ones who don't hyper train and deal with world ending events on the daily. Basically he's a high-school star quarterback among NFL elite. Phenomenal in his pond but a small fish in the wider waters.

The comment about Trunks's hair was actually a reference to how in the actual series, Trunks went back into the Time Chamber, but here in the Abridged, he didn't. The joke being that, instead of that being the reason, he just "decided he liked it longer", as if that makes total sense. One of a few jokes they've made about how even though Vegeta and Trunks went back into the chamber, they didn't seem to get any stronger.

That might have been the implication of the joke. That Trunks went in just to grow his hair out. And really they might not have had the time to train enough to reach the tipping point against cells power level so why mention he went back in?

The song that was playing when Cell used the multi form technique was a guitar version of the Lazy Town song We Are Number One.

The song when Cell is fighting as four Cells is "We Are Number One (But It's Perfect)", AKA "We Are Perfect Cell". I love how they times it so that Cell's gleeful chuckling matched up with it. It has a full version, and the subtitles are fun to read.

Some people question how other than the Z Warriors how Hercule is the strongest human. Near the end of Dragon ball Demon King Piccolo killed all of the strongest fighters to make sure he had no threats to his rule

They all got revived tho It's more likely Toriyama simply forgot that a lot of fighters with super human strenght were a thing.

Maybe they all lived in East City. Y'know, the one Nappa glassed when he and Vegeta first landed... Kidding aside, you're probably right that Toriyama just forgot. But an in-universe explanation could be that the World Tournament simply wasn't held for a very long time after the 23rd, because Piccolo blew up the entire island and people were probably (and very understandably) spooked for a good while. I think Videl even referenced it in the dub during her flying lessons, but I'm not sure. Maybe none of the other OG Dragon Ball fighters bothered to check for any new tournaments, much like the Z fighters.

Hm the question is, Is Mr. Satan the strongest normal human? I mean what about Chi Chi? She’s a normal human and was a martial artist…can he beat her in a fight? Also while he doesn’t have many Goku does have some original moves of his own. One being the Dragon Fist.

9:05 I never liked this joke because it makes no sense, because stealing something suggests that you took something or in this case learned something without permission, but Goku learned his techniques he knows from other martial arts masters as their student, which makes his techniques earned not stolen, while Cell was just born with all the techniques that were stolen and put into his head without permission. Goku doesn't steal techniques Cell does.

No, most of Goku's techniques are copied from someone else. He learned the Kamehameha by watching Master Roshi and he learned the Solar Flare by mimicking Tien. The Kaioken and Spirit Bomb were taught to him yes, but they're still not his original moves. This ability is outright called mimicry.

@@digitalyoutuber154 Still Goku became a student of Master Roshi, which I don't see as "stealing" but as an imitation, the only time when Goku stole a technique was once he imitated Tien's “Solar Flare”, because Tien used a technique once that was not his, and Goku decided that he could copy a technique from Tien in the future, and used it against him in there second battle only once, but Goku uses it against others only when it’s very necessary, which means that Goku doesn't like to use techniques from those he wasn't a student of or won't be a student of, because that’s not his style.
