Damn, this '80s Dragon Ball movie totally feels like a weird mix between the sinister atmosphere of "Dune" and the campy characters of "Flash Gordon." However, I think this combination strangely works.

Now THIS is how you take artistic liberties and still make something I would genuinely to this day, pay money to watch. Whatever plot is buried under these images, is the Dragon Ball Z knockoff that I feel even Toriyama could appreciate. Also small criticism here but the one titled King Kai, I would argue more is Yemma or Enma, however it's spelled. The one at the big desk made of mahogany. ....MMMMMMMahhhhogany
Are you not aware of the revolution that is happening with AI's? (Artificial Inteligenies) Basically, you can generate an image of whatever you want just by giving a textual description. In this case the AI used was Midjourney. But the thing does not end images, the AIs are just in their beginnings and are giving great results in, but the thing does not end images, AI's are just in their infancy and are giving great results in many areas. The most remarkable and that attracted more attention so far in ChatGPT (a chatbot) There was even a former Google employee who was convinced by an AI that he has a conscience of his own.
This makes me wonder what would happen if a very loose adaptation of DBZ tried to pull plot points and characters from the Sayan, Frieza, and Android sagas and somehow combine them into a single movie. It would probably be some sort of messy space opera with a few characters that came from the future, and an entire act of the movie would take place in a surreal afterlife for some weird reason.
