It's not just nostalgia, right? this game had EVERYTHING, every character and every major story event from DB to GT tied together neatly in a satisfying yet simple combat system. The only thing missing was character creation and proper cut scenes.
On the comment of "every major story event"...yeah it's the nostalgia talking. Everything else was great but the story mode really wasn't that good in this game.
Fun fact about the Android 8 fight: If you let Goku be defeated when he jumps in to help Eighter, the mission doesn't end. Instead Eighter comes in, angry as all heck, and is much, MUCH stronger. It's an easier way to complete that mission.
Believe it or not, this game technically has even more what if scenarios. But they're hidden in main mission stories. As an example, defeating King Piccolo without advancing the dialogue will trigger an additional fight, where Chi-chi protects Goku from Tambourine. There's even more of those out there, just don't know where
@@scorpionfiresome3834 Oh wow! Never knew about that one. I think there's one where if you beat Majin Buu as Majin Vegeta, you get to fight Babidi as well if I remember correctly
It sure is a good thing Frieza never decided to transform, instantly healing from wounds, recovering from fatigue, and increasing his power. That would've put a damper on Vegeta's plan to weaken him before going in for the kill.
That's not how it works, Frieza's final form is his true form. His 1st, 2nd, and 3rd forms are forms he created to save power. Since they are different forms, if one is damaged then it wouldn't affect the other form because they are not the same. Also Frieza is already in his final form, he can't transform. And no, 100% is not a transformation, it's a powerup. Any damaged that he takes is not heal when he powers up.
Funnily enough Devilman could beat Freiza Freiza is very cocky and would probably let himself get hit by the devilmite beam pretty much killing him instantly
@Παναγιώτης Γεωργίου you don't have to be pure evil You don't even have to be evil You just have to be not pure of heart which cell and beerus definitely aren't
I love how they incorporated story elements into the dialogue during fights. It reminds me of the anime how they’ll talk during fights and plot will move forward. It’s a nice touch instead of just cut scenes followed by mindless punching
This game was so nostalgic it had pretty much every character you wanted and none of them were through dlcs I'm surprised they even added fasha and her great ape transformation
Despite all the DBZ games that have come out over the years, BT1 has the most badass and authentic Intro of all of DBZ games of the Franchise. BT2 and BT3 in my opinion still remains the most Unique and the best DBZ games in terms of content, quality and fanservices. And from the gameplay perspective aspects, these DBZ games that I mentioned are very close to the anime itself because of the Vibe and Charm, I don't know how to describe it but it was, and still is the most Unique DBZ experience you could have with the combat factor. (- Sheer amount de of characters - Transformations mid-battle (powering up and down) - Fusions mid-battle - Fast gameplay that has that "woah" feel - Tons of extra content - Story mode covering all sagas + movies - What If sagas - Shenron having permanent impact on game (character unlocks and whatnot) - Great tournaments that rotate availability - Edit characters with items (buffs) - 5v5 battles - Really Great and Epic Soundtracks - Destroyable environments - Entire stages could be blown up into their "destroyed" alternatives - Mission 100 being a great challenge - Artwork is 10/10 - Sound effects are great - Combat feels heavy and satisfying) Only Budokai 3, Infinite World and the Raging Blast 1 and 2 and all of PSP DBZ games are still considered also very solid DBZ games, also the hidden gem that a lot of DBZ fans missed from PS2 Era of DBZ games is "Super Dragon Ball Z" which is also a real Unique and DBZ game, especially for the different gameplay aspects perspective.☯️
13:28 Holy sh!t you snapped! After failing to gather chi so many times, you just beat the living crap outta Cui in what looks like pent up frustration. 23:29 Uh....what? King Cold would be alive at that point.
Lol, what he did to Cui is exactly what I did, beat the ever living shit out of him. That's what he gets for interrupting people when they try to Ki charge.
If Android 16 kills Goku in the past before he destroys the red ribbon army, then Dr. Gero would never end up creating androids specifically designed to kill Goku. So then he’d never create and send 16 in the past to kill Goku. Android 16 trying to create a paradox
Well lets see.... of all of the battles that were most unbelieveable i'd have to say the saiyan army against frieza would be top of the list. Since frieza's first form is 530,000 and the strongest saiyans would be King Vegeta, Vegeta, Nappa (the fuck is he anyways? This sucks :/) and Bardock... Frieza would probably have just 1 hit every single saiyan that gets in his way since basically assuming Vegeta's power level is below 40,000 at this time which it probably is that'd make him 10 times stronger than even Vegeta, and even Vegeta wouldn't be able to "weaken" him. He'd be able to just stand there and take every single hit like a tank against a BB gun...
I like how Bardock says, "you forgot about one sayian Frieza!" When he literally just fought Bardock before King and Prince Vegeta... Frieza must have facial blindness towards all other "inferior" races
Couple of things I know its what if and all but if Android 16 goes back in time to kill goku and suceeds and goes to the DBZ world we actually know and love then.....everything will be the same unless he goes to the future where he suceeded.
@@wcamicase_gaming And not to mention... She is the opponent at the Dragon Saga survival at 50. But I was able to beat her as I recall. Her Z Counter is also very fast, so you have to react quick, or you get your butt kicked. :D
Guess Baba ressurrected him for a day when she heard about the whole "Frieza is coming to Earth to kill everyone" Dunno why he didnt have a halo or why she didnt use this against the androids though but hey its a what if
I feel that the what if scenarios in 3 are less interesting then the ones in the other two. Mostly because those had actual cutscenes and connective stories
I remember the first time I beat this game in middle school. Devilman’s constant moaning alone made me feel violated, then when I heard that last line from the narrator I dropped my controller and said “ok, this is gay.” I never played it again.
WCamicase He has a couple of cameos. First is at the end of DBZ with all the other characters from across the series (Except Launch. Nobody remembers Launch) and the second is sometime in GT - I forget exactly when.
you can never know lol this is a what if saga maybe gero was aware of the time machine and then he sent android 16 to kill goku but it won't work because he is basically just creating a different reality
