Aww, I do like that idea a lot actually. It seems very in-character for him to blab about whatever big adventure he was just on, casually sharing all the details and even keeping her updated. "Wow Chichi! You won't believe the crazy fight we just had! There was this one guy, and he was super strong. He had this new power, and none of us knew how to take him down!" People always say Goku is a bad dad because he's rarely around, but I always remember him being really nice and friendly in the calmer moments. He's usually either dead or saving the world. Surely that deserves a little leeway lol.
Yeah he probably talks alot with chichi while hes not on camera, Goku is probably a good husband but they wont show us because it isnt important to the history

@@TheAvalanchilator People recognising you in the street as a superhero is a lot more annoying than it may seem. And yes people will use that knowledge to target his family. It'd just be putting those close to him in un-needed danger.
Chi Chi has a power level of like 120 something. In filler episodes of DBZ it’s shown she can use the Kaioken. Assuming she uses the full 20x Kaioken, she has a power level of around 2400. She could definitely kill at least one or two of Frieda’s weaker soldiers (like the fodder ones that fought Bardock above Planet Vegeta)
@@asianpengi680 It's actually an entirely different technique of it's own, apparently called Red Blazing Aura in one of the TCGs. Not that it would make much sense for her to know and use it with the potential damage it can do to one's body. The only characters to have ever use or know the Kaio-Ken who aren't Goku King Kai himself are Krillin and Yamcha, and they've only used it in a few of the games.
Honestly, I love how it's less about just telling us about the characters and more of Chi-Chi's unfiltered thoughts/biases. It gives similar vibes as the Unreliable Narrator trope.

It’s a nice touch how Chi-Chi knows more about characters in the Original Dragonball but When it’s gets to Z and GT she only has approximate knowledge unless she was directly involved with them.
This game is still a masterpiece, I remember listening to ChiChi commentaries on every character after completing majority of a story. Thanks for posting this
I hope they bring this back for BT4. Watching this years ago was how I got to know a majority of the pre-Super roster. 14:20 Years later, this would actually happen by someone else, in another timeline.

For anyone wondering why Chi-Chi refers to Super Saiyan as delinquents, in Japan it's common for "delinquent" kids to bleach their hair blonde as a form of rebellion in a country where conformity is highly valued.

I think the only reason that Goku is okay with being “poor” is that that’s literally how he’s lived his entire life. He’s either slept outside or in a shack. Chi chi on the other hand lived in a palace until it burned down.
Fun fact: Blonde hair is usually seen on teens to show they're outsiders and show disobedience. Hence why Chi Chi calls all Super Saiyans as "delinquents".
