I was going to play this, always been a fan of the budokai trilogy, and I was hoping there were more characters... it's sad that they removed some important character, like the previous kid goku or Cell Jr, and I would have loved to play important characters in the serie, such as Roshi, Chi Chi or any of the Sayans in their Oozaru transformation... Sacrificing characters in favor of Janemba or Pikkon was sad, expecially for GT Vegeta, that could have easily been an alternative costume intead of occupying a whole slot.

No, the story was the main selling point and it's actually has new elements if im not wrong

This game ia basically Budokai 3 with DLC, it also has deep story mode with cutscene. Oh, also they get rid of dragon rush mode.

@@barriguinhamole291 Did you even played infinite world? because for what you are saying you never played infinite world. First of all, It's not only that infinite world had more characters, it also had a better story mode for a lot of times better, it had minigames, the mechanics of the game are different, it has many moves the budokai 3 lacks, characters aren't that hard to get and it doesn't become repetitive. Budokai 3 isn't better in no way, Budokai 3 is just overrated, because the game had a 1 and a 2, budokai 3 simply was more popular and the only reason it's considered better than infinite world is because there is people like you that never played the game, literally the only thing in which budokai 3 beats Infinite world is in the opening. Think with your head, How can budokai 3 be better if infinite world is almost the same as budokai 3 but with better mechanics and more characters and better story mode. It's clear that budokai 3 is overrated. Now I still have budokai 3 but I don't have infinite world and I still would prefer to play infinite world rather than budokai 3, budokai 3 gets boring and repetitive

The reason you probably didn't hear about this game is because the PlayStation 3 had already come out pretty much around the same time that this game came out for the PlayStation 2. PS3 hype was too strong. They should have definitely waited to put it on the PlayStation 3 though. I had this game as a reen and i was always blown away when people who love the Budokai series never knew about this game.
