Both the English and Japanese voice actors are great. In Kai you really see the talent of the English voice actors

Sean doesn't even have to change his voice when voice acting. It's so epic when you hear him talking and it's like Goku is just there.

When Masako does Goku's voice it's so intense. I love it.

You know what's almost as beautiful as this video? This video's comment section. In almost every Dragon Ball video you see these days, the comments are filled with Sub and Dub fans arguing on which voice is better. But here, almost everybody is praising both the English AND Japanese voices with not a single negative said. I'm so happy to see there actually are members of the Dragon Ball community that respect both of the voice casts.

Gotta say I love both dubs. I grew up with the English version and I at first wasn't a fan of the Japanese voices. But then I found out that Akira Toriyama chose to keep Masako Nozawa as adult Goku because she had the voice for the character he created. I started hearing it as silly playful Goku instead of a woman voicing a man. If you truly understand Goku then you'll love both voices

I used to hate Frieza as a kid, not just because he's a villain ;p but I just hated his voice. But, after having watched a lot of the Japanese version now, I absolutely love him, and is probably one of my favourite villains of all time.

If you really like Dragon Ball, you should respect Masako Nozawa, the Japanese voice actress. She has been the voice of Goku for over 35 years, and there is not a single reason to deny her.

I’m a Z fanboy so Sean is my goku but... seeing this video makes me feel like he’s a goku fan and Masako IS goku. He said so many things about goku in appreciation then she summed up the entirety of goku in two lines. I’ll always prefer Sean’s goku but damn I’ve got some new appreciation for Masako
