Hello. I’m a lifelong artist and sculptor but I am new to the chainsaw game. Your stuff is absolutely amazing you are a true inspiration. Thank you for being you
The more I watch your stuff the more I’m feeling like I want to carve. I know it’s prob not something you just jump off the deep in with but I’ve carved for 25 years, like hand carvings, gnomes and fish and smaller scale stuff. I recently bought an MS 170 and who knows, maybe after I watch all you videos three times I’ll feel like putting a chain to wood. Your work is world class Jeff. Hands down some of the best I’ve seen. Each piece is without a doubt a Masterpiece. Keep it up and if your ever in Missouri I might just be the guy carving big logs into piles of sawdust lol.
Thanks, you made my day! Thanks for watching and commenting. I'm glad you enjoyed the videos. I work hard to make them, so its nice to see someone watches them and appreciates them.
I have always wanted to carve large sizes and use a saw, maybe I lack space, that's why I limit myself to making small sizes, this video will motivate me to find a way to buy the saw and try larger pieces, thank you very much.
Again another great carving you are a very inspiring person makes me want to go and do the extra effort in the carving great job again and thanks for sharing
Amazing piece and craftsmanship. Not going to lie, at first I thought you were going to leave it all black and I was like please man no! Not a fan of carvings that people paint one solid color. It takes away all of the depth, definition and texture. Very tasteful finishing though. That color contrast just made it pop.
Absolutely stunning creation Jeff ! an the detail is next level stuff sir 💪. Love the dry brushing you did you nailed the bronze effect in my opinion, like your attitude towards art so Im a new sub for sure🤘looking forward to seeing some of your older creations.
I was sad to see it painted but have to be honest there was so much more detail after the coloring was complete, I was amazed what level of accuracy you achieve with a chainsaw. Your videos seem really interesting, though the green flickering and the audio imbalance between your voiceover and music should probably be improved
Thanks for the response. I believe my graphics card is to blame for the green flickers. I was horrified when I saw that. I have just started editing and learning every day. I have several more videos that I am currently working on. Stay tuned like and subscribe. Thanks!
Amazing Jeff! My heart jumped when I heard the wood tumble sound off camera lol. How do you attach the fixtures that make up the legs and the head? Does adding wood like that cause a lot of cracking? Thank you very much for sharing your journey in creating some an amazing piece.
Well in actuality thr sander I was using fell..lol all the wood I used is kiln dried so little to no cracking is in the forecast. Laminated wood is generally stronger and in all reality has no bearing on cracking. I sure do appreciate you checking out the videos and if ya could please like and subscribe. Thanks for seeing what I saw!😁
Beside every great man is an amazing woman.. She is most defiantly a keeper. . . Treat her well. Hard working ladies are very hard to find these days. Ps..love your art..👍🇬🇧🙋🏼♂️
