Something i'd definitely recommend for future games is considering heavy duty boots. If hazard removal is a struggle negating hazards entirely for some mons could be beneficial, especially for integral sweepers against opponents who have webs or for mons who switch in and out a lot

First of all I watched like all your SV FFA videos, and some of your SwSh ones. 10 years ago I was was watching your FFAs in X and Y days. I'm excited to see you delving back into draft. Some unsolicited advice, I think Sandslash might've helped a lot. Doesn't matter if it loses to every single mon (much like Smeargle). It could come in later, with sash or just against Mandibuzz, spin and die, and still have a massive impact. Hazards would've put on much more pressure too, even just to get him to spend time clearing.

Regardless of the result, at least you were able to make the end result closer. Unfortunate that Mienshao missed the first Triple Axel, but huge Ice Shard kill vs Cryogonal!

No hazard removal is unlucky, would make sense if fezan has defogz weird it doesn't, maybe next game/gen it'll get it

You didn’t have any hazard control or any removals of any kind and with the Shaymin if it hit with leech seed you could’ve done some shenanigans with Amola and wish and kept the Shaymin while weakening the Gardivor. You and Shady Penguin has been out of the competitive battling game for a while but Shady slowly got his groove back and maybe you can too.

You're playing way too risky. When Bisharp first came on the field and you brought Mienshao, it was +2 in Atq and you decided to go for U-turn assuming he would switch ? I mean, sure he ultimately did. But if he hadn't the battle was over.

CC was so obvious though and it wouldn't make sense for Shuckle to throw away such a big threat. CC into a Mandibuzz switch would've also cost Callum more momentum -- U-Turn was good play.

34:18 terrastalizing Cryoninal here is perhaps the dumbest move I’ve ever seen in any competitive battle in any format. You quad resisted the incoming ice shard before, but you just traded that off for a weakness. Even if he didn’t know about ice shard, icicle spear also does ice type damage. And Cal switching out now was never in the question, since that would remove the boosts from D-dance, and you don’t need an emergency sacrifice this late in the game. But even if he did, both of his other 2 surviving team members have super effective moves against ground, and aren’t weak to it either. This absolute idiot 😂
