[Dragon Eye] The Miracle of Hachimantai - Eyes Opened! (2023) 

Dragon Eye is a natural phenomenon that can only be seen during the thaw season in Hachimantai, which straddles Akita and Iwate prefectures.
Every year, from mid-May to mid-June, the snow that accumulates at Kagami-numa, located at an altitude of around 1,600 m, melts only in the periphery and center, creating a donut-shaped formation of blue water and white snow. When viewed from above, it looks like a dragon's eye. I went to see it for the first time last year, and it was wonderful with sunny skies. Dragon Eye was good, but Hachimantai Uno Nature is truly amazing.
