I believe this song is about sleep paralysis. “Maybe I’ll sleep for once in my life” - “I used to feed him my fears and my troubles/Now he sees me at ease and he trembles” = Used to sleep paralysis but unable to sleep. “..Chained to the floor” is being unable to move during sleep paralysis. “He stares through the window” Seeing the demon staring at you in your room/outta the window. Just my theory

I love this song so much, I hope Mel releases it later on an EP.

My biggest flex is that, whenever i hear one of Mel’s songs, after 2-4 listens I’ll be able to sing it without lyrics. *this is a good song btw😋*

I think the main reason it wasn't released is because the chorus repetition feels like death and the instrumentals feels like K-12 or after school but the lyrics are very different
