I keep seeing people saying this, when I was upgrading my stuff from my storage.

30fps was the thing to want and people were complaining about 24fps just a few years back. This is not even close to being a problem. There are other real problems instead ... :(

People have gaslit themselves into thinking 30fps is unplayable, and i say good. Let them miss out on all these gems due to their own folly

They're desperate to spread lies. My only guess is they are wokies hating simply because it's a Japanese company that didn't employ SBI to wokify their game. Nothing that's been claimed in the comments or reviews has been present across the 3 playthroughs I've watched so far. The game is beautiful, combat is fun and the only problem I've seen so far is an ox cart glitch. Nothing else has been an issue. They just can't handle it's not made to be super easy. The one save file has been public information for months now and the micros are there for people who want them. Everything they offer is available in game to earn by playing. I haven't read one thing that wasn't a copy/paste lie or someone trying to demonize them for the micros lmao. They aren't mandatory and most games have them these days.

Yeah, they are NOOBs to the franchise. As usual they don't do their research and complain like a bish. Most of the stuff in the Microtransactions are earnable in-game. RC is easily earnable by just killing things. The noobs think that RC is the "premium" currency of the game. That ain't the case and 1500 RC is nothing. Hiring pawns at the same level as you cost 0 RC. You need the RC to hire pawns that are higher level than you and that is it. Harpysnare smoke beacon is useless when you got range DPS in the party. The beacon just makes them get closer to the ground and that is it. Wakestones and Ferry Crystals are rare but if you are playing smart, you don't need to buy these micro-transactions. The Explorer's Camping kit cost 2000 gold in-game and the basic one costs 500 gold. The difference between the two is just "durability". The Makeshift Gaol Key is a one-time use item. That's already a BS buy and not worth it. Sure there is the Heartfelt Pendant that increases your affinity with the NPC that you gift this with, just give the wiki some time and there will be lists of items on what NPCs likes that you can gift. There is the Art of Metamorphosis (character editor) this is for sure a premium item but if you are already cool with the Character that you made you don't need this. Ambivalent Rift Incense (changes your main pawn's attitude in the party example from Straightforward to Simple) unless you didn't like what inclination your pawn started in the beginning then this item would be a "dependant" buy. I already set up my MP with a Fighter Vocation with Straightforward inclination to be my tank for the Party. All in all you don't need to buy this. It is so easy, don't buy if you don't like to. The items in the micro-transactions are not necessities but these NOOBs keep spouting the same "Oh micro-transactions bad" in the comment section. Preposterous I say. Bird-brained and ill-mannered as usual.

As early in the games life cycle as this is, I wouldn’t worry about your pawn not being used. Lot of people playing. If anything, make them stand out by changing up their gear and armor. I’m far more likely to use pawns that are cool/appealing to look at that also have useful skills. Keep your pawn up to date on skills and gear and you’ll be fine.

I've been playing on PC all night and it's been fine. My graphics can't max out, but it still looks pretty good.

If you’re willing to risk 70 dollars, go pc. Some people can’t even play the game. Safer bet is console.

I've been playing on PC 14+ hours and only a singular crash. Runs fine locked at 60 FPS (I have a mid tier PC).

Official pawns are listed under a specific tab under the riftstone sort. Makes it easier/more consistent to find.

Your logic here makes absolutely no sense. It sucks there are any microtransactions at all. But since there are, it's nice they are obtainable within the game and can be ignored. Cosmetic microtransactions are horrible. It's hard to see them as anything other than things that should have been in the game anyway as rewards. They are often time overpriced. And end up being a gateway into other terrible practices like charging money for character editing or music.. like monster hunter games. Calling it "lazy" that they don't have them is one of the weirdest things i've seen to be quite honest. If you would have gotten what you think you wanted, armor already in the game would have been plucked out and you'd get charged for it. Blows my mind that people still haven't figured out these predatory practices by these game companies.

Same. I have been doing more side quests than main story quests, but the fact that I haven’t found anything one does make me wonder where they could possibly be hiding them. Although there is one permanent crystal that you can find at one of the destination that an early story quest takes you to. I won’t spoil the details unless you want that info.

@@swankypotato1249 It is one of the ones from Brant. The one where he asks you to clear out some monsters in 3 locations. It takes you to a village that has a permanent portcrystal.

theres already a workaround to restart your save on pc iirc. the item is for character customization and you can get it in game for like 500rc iirc

Lots of misinformation on the MTX. Nothing in there would let you delete your character. Search online on how to do it(for free obviously). And I don't think remaking your character would fix your game. Either wait for a patch or ask for a refund. If you're over the 2 hour period, you still have a chance as they sometimes allow the refund if you have a technical problem. Probably need screenshots. If you buy it outside of Steam though(via keys) then you're out of luck.

This doesn’t happen on console . Not one reported issue similar to this. Just PC stuff

yea unfortunately you have to pull up the menu to use items. A lot of design choices are pretty dumb. But the game still rocks. Just don’t load back at the inn…..

Super tedious. They placed mobs every two meters to inconvenience traversing as the maximum health decreases after every damage taken. Why? Game design? No. To introduce MTXs like revivals (wakestones) and fast travel items (ferrystones).

Less than 10 hours in and I have found 4 wakestone shards out in the wild, and Oxcarts or permanent portcrystals are available in all 4 of the towns I’ve been to. There’s absolutely no need to buy any DLC. RC are plentiful, and the appearance book is available for RC. The only thing I haven’t found yet is a moveable port crystal, but campsites are everywhere. If you really feel like the combat is punishing take two camping kits and put them in your pawns’ inventory. The descriptions in the previews made it seem like Oxcart rides and camping gets interrupted often, but it’s only happened to me once for Oxcarts and never for camping.

MTX was not public when I recorded this.

The one character has always been in dragons dogma thing, I find it only new players would be whinging over this, honestly compared to the rest it’s a pretty weak hill to die on

Step two: buy literally everything in the store. Step three: actually research to learn about what you just bought and realize it’s mostly worthless. (Not defending it, the mtx are still stupid, but then again so are you for complaining about here. Take it up with Capcom)

What is everyone complaining about? Just checked the steam store and it’s literally the pre-order items. I haven’t even started playing yet and it looks like everything on that store is available in game. Hiring pawns is literally free if they are at your level/below, or friended, so I can’t imagine anyone is buying RC. You can also edit your character in game without that item. Optimization issues may warrant legitimate complaints, but I don’t see why everyone cares so much about the steam store.

Its simple, because there was NOTHING said about it before launch. The RC does not bother me as much as the Wake stones, yes you can propably find them in game but they are said to be rare, so selling them in a game where questsenstive npcs can permadie is not cool. But still i can see why people are upset about this stuff. It does not matter now because they sell stuff you can find in game. But not pointing it out and complaining about mtx in singleplayer games gives the executives in companies feedback that its ok to do so, people will buy it anyway, and then they will try and sell important things in their next game. Because the pre-order items being for sale post release wasn't relevant to the gameplay mechanics and performance issues. They should realistically have no impact on one's enjoyment or dislike of the gameplay. No one likes microtransactions, but this is a farcry from malicious deception. The pendant is not the only gift available in game to give NPCs. Just one of them.

Honestly really sick of seeing this crazy outrage over the MTX. Literally all of the items are obtainable in-game and relatively easily as well. Do I think they should even have the MTX? No, but it's clear that all of the people complaining either haven't played or haven't gotten to the main city. It's honestly ridiculous. Or it has replayablility because you'll see different quests in different playthroughs. It all depends on your perspective. I personally think that having your choices actually matter, and you getting a unique adventure from that of your friends, combines with the added immersion makes the expiring quest system a good thing. If it's not for you, it's not for you. But personally, I'm glad it's there.

They say “in the future they will work on performance” so we get a surprise day one store front instead of a day one performance patch?
