This was just pure satisfaction to watch. Especially that Sword and Board+Greatsword combo setting that poor Minotaur up with timed blocks and such and straight punishing with the two hander. Got my sub.
@@atcera8714Have you actually played the game? The no difficulty selection is kind of irrelevant. The game actually does have difficulty. However, the difficulty is based on how much you prepare yourself before going out. If you take 3 pawns, tons of healing and curing items, a camping tent and food buffs, then the game is just "normal" difficulty. If you take 3 pawns and no curatives with a camping kit, it becomes hard. If you take 3 pawns with no preparation, no food, no camping kit, the game becomes very hard very quick. You will struggle to travel and dynamic boss encounter + enemies will fuck you every step of the way. Every reload shaves off a portion of max HP and all damage slowly shaves off max HP. You can only heal that with resting the night. If you take 0 pawns.... Well now you're in extreme mode. It varies depending on what you do. Items + camping kit limits your ability to retrieve loot. Too much weight and you drain stamina extremely fast. No camping kit is death. No items is death. So it becomes a management game. You won't steam roll this game and you will die quite a bit. However, it's not unfair levels of hard.
From DMC to MonsterHunter series ! Now is Dragon Dogma 2 . Capcom 's gameplay is simply amazing once you understand what they want to show you ( fan of action gameplay ) . Everytime , Their gameplay always follow one direction :" Easy to play but Hard to master " . That is why MHW icebonre still so fun to play till nowaday . So many things you can still learn and enjoy after you mastered something . Every single class or weapon in Capcom's games force you to actually put your time and focus into it to be actually good at them . I feel so sorry for DD2 this time ! People instead of sit down and enjoy the game , they chosed go on internet and show their 10 years old kid reactions about those DLCs Capcom selling 🤣 Let me tell you guys this , Capcom is selling those tiny DLCs in their AAA titles FOR 10 YEARS ! And those DLCs as i can see never effect on your main experience ! You guys think some stones they are selling will put bad effection on your experience ? NO ! Its not ! All you need to do is PLAY THE GAME ! You can find whatever stone you want in the game ! That is why its just Capcom thing when selling tiny things in their game and thats all ! It will not make your experience bad believe me !
@@Acrid_Arsonist This really only happens depending on where you are on their body. If you are on the body part they are swinging you will meet it with full force (potentially more damage from what I noticed), they also have a lot of thrashing moves that you can hold onto them for dear life as they try to shake you which can also do damage if you fall into the middle of it which often ticks as soon as you dismount from loss of stam or you get knocked off from not holding onto the beasty. Note: Lesser Dragons are the biggest offenders of full body thrashing aside from ogres and their arms. When a lesser dragon thrashes about their tail and legs/claws will throw you off with damage. The under body (so long as you are in the frontal part since ive been knocked when on the lower end) and back are safe during it and potentially the head so long as you aren't in front of it's face when it's biting the air.
@@able.3566 Yea just seems the minotaur gets hit by one knockdown move and he is down lol. I def agree with the community that they should hopefully add a hard mode to help build up their resistances to knockdown and health as I'd like to stick with a full party of pawns. Feel like they could do with having areas have multiple spawns because even on hard mode I'm sure 4v1 just kinda would slap em. Just a random thought responding to yea lol
@@dood6647 oh yeah I agree. Hard mode would benefit this game a lot, even when alone with Minotaur it's horns are so brittle that a single person can and will break them with ease. It doesn't help you can guide the mino charge into a wall and get an easy knock (makes sense but adds to the whole way to easy to knock him down point).
That minotaur fight was incredibly satisfying. And doing this solo gives it a massive Elden Ring vibe IMO. Hella good skills mate! Imagine when modders start adding crazy real bosses into this game.... holy shit.
@@Odisseo_ @worldofambiance6078 def fun if you just do what you want but you can sorcerer and thief and one shot any boss basically. def the most broken if you want it to be, but i find it boring that way.
I think this is how the devs wanted people to play warfarer. In the description, it even says the vocation is best for people with good skills and fast reflexes
I play it slow and steady with trickster wall, archer explosive arrow and Magick archers ice block shot. Been My favorite playstyle so far because it let's me play strategically.
The combinations youre using are great. I have to try this 😂 the charge for magic spear looks amazing. It looks like you play action games regularly. Those counters are fire Little tip: using magic archer and focusing with the small circle lets you lock on faster, shoot more shoot and deal better consistent damage to body parts, few shots to the chests would've droped it from the air pretty fast
This is amazing, for my first playthrough I played the game solo, of course, I didn’t finish that playthrough, but I had SO MUCH FUN playing solo. Thinking about starting over but this time with warfarer instead of warrior.
I love fighting Minotaurs they are so spongey, they just flop around if you have decent knowdown power and they hardly get back up fast enough before they're knocked down again. It's comical lol
This is a good showcase of what a seasoned player can do with a Jack of All Trades vocation. Not my cup of tea, but it's not weak in the least. Proper combinations make for incredible damage potential. I myself play a Mystic Spearhand. Easily my favourite vocation. Followed closely in second by Magick Archer.
My first though was: "i like both weapon a lot, but they miss each other somenthing. GS has the damage and stun, but you don't have good defensive options, S&S vice versa."
nice work my friend, you're doing your best warrior of light impression. I'm still very disappointed with warfarer. I feel like its a bit too limited and I wanted it to not waste a skill slot... Still there's some cool stuff we can do with it!!
Really good job. I went with archer for ranged setup. Didn't include mystic yet, I find the timing on the teleport jump to be very odd. Sometimes it works 5 times in a row, then it never works for hours. Biggest burst dmg sofar I achieved with "naked" thief on low life. (low weight + low life rings)
I'm calling it now, this multiclassing mechanic will be in monster hunter. slight variation of being able to use both melee and ranged at the same time. probably carried around by a mount
Hey question, im gonna use mystic spearhand and thief together but do you know of it feels smooth? Like will using the spears dash ability into the daggers climb ability feel good
This was badass, i have one question, the spearhand you were charging pretty quickly and unless i missed something but dashed without using the charge attack I thought you could only do that to dash? otherwise loved the video makes me want to give the vocation more love 😆
I thought that the wayfarer would do much less damage and whatnot from what people said, but it turned out that the base stats wasn't that much worse than the rest. Both knockdown power/resistance is the same on fighter and wayfarer, which was my main issue before comparing them. Also, which weapon combo do y'all use on warfarer? Currently using sword&board with a little staff for that sweet anodyne and halidom
My personal favourite combo is Dagger + Bow, og Strider main will understand. Greatsword + Spear with Str augments is nice too, 1 fast 1 slow, both are 2-handed so it’s somewhat fitting. Or Bow + Sword&Shield, ain’t nothing like a wandering knight.
@@Akihito_Kanbara You think it's sad for playing on easy build I see? Do you think that's more sad, or someone who is desperate to show if they were skilled in games on the internet by calling other people sad? One to think about I think lol
This was sooo sick to watch wow, makes me want to boot up my game just after watching the first fight. As someone who is fairly newer to the DD series, I'm curious how you're able to switch between so many vocations? I currently run theif but had no idea you could have more than 2, unless I'm just misunderstanding lol.
The ogre and the minotaur didn't impress me all that much, I was thinking that this was just a high lvl character bullying low lvl mobs, but that drake fight was just glorious and won me over. Well done.
This is a masterpiece. All those ppl complain about game too easy. Try solo and not get damaged while not using MS mirror or thief’s fein like here. And not spam 1 skill. Awesome gameplay.
For your skills, especially on your minotaur battle, what were they? I'm very entirgued about your style of combat as I've just taken up the mantle of a Wayfarer!
If you can spare a slot for MA then i would swap out the Sparkchain bolt for the Hailstone Bolt, it has insane knockdown even if your magic stat is low when fully charged! Otherwhise very satisfying gameplay, this is how Warfarer should be played
its fun to watch the thing is with flying monsters, some combos are just "bad" in terms of how much damage they do / their ability to stop the enemies from running away - so finding the "right" enemy (ones that will never run away) is important. i havent unlocked warfare yet, im enjoying playing with each of the classes but im only running with my main pawn as a buffer and Fighter for example, will do so little damage to a drake before it flies off - its like a joke. (i know about targeting the wings..)
wanna see my no hit run as a thief using formless feint ? Joke aside, I am impressed on how you exploit very well the defense mechanics of different vocations, especially when the camera is so close.
The drake fight hurt me cause you are so skilled in using the classes and timing that parry / invuln frame to prevent damage on the slam, and then magick archer was so poorly used, man magick archer used right you can beat a drake in like 20 seconds or less, absolutely the most broken class in the game lmao.
The Game isnt hard, so the point of the video isnt to minmax kill time but rather showcasing satisfying gameplays. I'd take a fun/longer fight anytime then kill a dragon for 20s and walk another 30minutes to find another one.
@@hym9439 To me then he should of rocked regular archer, it can be really fun and still hit good shots without wrecking it, instead of underutilizing a class on purpose while showing major skill in others lol
Only 2 weapons? Since I've maxed all other vocations, I've been using 3, daggers/spear/archer for fighting then a mage wand for exploration. i might consider adding the greatsword or sword&shield, since i seem to like parrying
