For the chimera fight, i use low-mid game gear, just to make the fight a little bit challenging. Thanks for watching. 0:00 Chimera (Fighter) 4:29 Drake (Warrior) 9:09 Outro #dragonsdogma #dragonsdogma2 #nodamage
The patience you demonstrated from 8:00 - 8:40 was really a masterclass. Especially after it had been in the air so long, that felt like an eternity. Defense is the best offense 😋
Any reason why i'm getting flinched by goblin throwing small stone at me? Tried the class it's not working AT all for some reason 1330 stagger res and i'm getting launched around by anything that's not human
The pawn system is cool, but I always found Dogma plays better as a solo because it feels like you and the enemy are engaged and fighting each other, rather than just beating everything senseless with a party.
@@JLG35X The issue is that enemy AI seems a bit all over the place when pawns are in the field. A good example of what you're describing is the intro sequence in DD1 with Savan, since everyone there is equipped with random low level gear. If you have all 4 pawns the Chimera fight is a bit of a mess, and you can mostly just stand back and let them kill it, but do it solo or with at most just his main pawn and it becomes a lot more engaging. It's not just about making fights longer, it's about the AI interacting with you directlt rather than attacking in random directions all the time.
@@zedre7633 oh definitely, if you want the AI to be more predictable then solo is the way to go, though the wait command in this game is an improvement from last game.
GG, finalmente qualcuno che gioca queste classi con un senso invece di spammare. Molto interessanti anche i tuoi video con il Warfarer, spero che si possa avere un attacco con il cambio d'arma in futuro Nioh style
Honestly towards the end of the game even after maxing most vocations I ended up sticking with Warrior, Fighter, and a Wayfarer combination of the two. They’re simple, ultra effective, and VERY fun to use. Addicted to vengeance slash and the warrior parry lol
@@sicawhoremanchester6821 Your 1000% right, per capita Arc of Might is actually weak as sht, compared to the other moves, martyr's bolt is damn near insta cast at range and one shots everything. Fk Itsuno.
6:08 - 6:29 I had to pause after that. Got too hype, way too hype for me! I came into dd2 wanting to be a fighter tank, but slowly found myself gravitating towards warrior in the end. So easy to keep aggro when you constantly stagger everything.
I discovered your channel only recently. Watched some of your older videos and saw how you much you grew on this platform. It's always nice to see skill and hard work pay off. Complimenti.
Since the game offers no challenge, ive been using mods to alter the difficulty to keep pace with character progression. :D so i can use the cool endgame items and still habe engaging fights
i've got it off every time, not solo. it takes a lot more work than DD1 to the point where if it's not the first part you kill then it probably won't come off.
It definitely does, never seen it happen without a double/triple thief party though. Seems it has to die first (go limp like the other two heads) before it can be severed
Warrior is just too much fun. For Fighter I have difficulties with it, low damage output and i feel slow and easy to interupt. I tried out thief and it was fun at first but its broken to the point it gets boring fast. Archer is very fun too, and i feel it is underestimated, i find it a very strong vocation.
@@DZX6_ i mean the second part of the game i dont want to spoiler so warning:‼️ The game has a twist at one point and there are many quest and other not available anymore and if ure not ready for it its hard!
So does the game get more challenging? The lost disappointing part for me so far is everything feels far too easy. Im a lvl 35 I think and the only hard fight I had was with a dragon when I was a lvl 20 maybe or less.
Idk if you'll read this but I think the dragonbite is played as a glass cannon playstyle beacause it probably increases your damage the lower your health not after taking big damage. Meaning that if u wanna have top damge at all times u have to play with red hp bar mostly which kinda sounds annoying or impossible until.... You stumble on the Ring of Benevolence, which keeps you at in the limit between red hp and green hp bar once you take damage below the threshold making it the perfect ring for this weapon if it actually does increase your damage that way. Already having fun with the illusion it does since im not sure it does. Since ring of brawn dont work, making me doubtful
I was curious about the ring of brawn, I was playing around with it looking at stats and it doesn’t change anything. Does it actually apply in combat though? Hidden stat maybe?
@@tylerj3855 I checked the wiki and the comments said it dont work, I thought it would work like the blue dancer charm from Elden Ring but it doesnt. So they probably programmed it wrong. O nvm mind it does work I checked the wiki again and the comments said it kind of works just like the blue dancer charm from ER but it isnt that noticeable. So a warrior wouldnt benefit too much from this ring because of the heavy weapons and armor.
You play fighter like a warrior. Better push knockdowns skills to make him fall. Shield bash or perfekt bocks, rings and Warrior Augments for making Monsters fall easier. When monsters are down, there you go doing massive dmg. Nihil taught us this way
That's good and all, but for this video i had to limite myself in terms of skills and gear, otherwise that chimera will fall down in 20 secs if i start playing optimal.
@@Odisseo_ you played very good btw. Pls post a video, when you got gear and augentations. Nihil posted once how to play a fighter in Dragons Dogma 1. Perfect blocks are so strong.
I would like to see a palette swap mechanic like in Dragon's Dogma online. that let you swap between two sets of skills, so we could have 8 skills! most of the moves are OP anyways so it would just add a huge amount of variety to people's playstyles. i notice a lot of spamming of the same move, that wouldn't need to happen with a palette swap mechanic.
@@matthewgrode9204 Not really the point I was saying, a lot of that gear was the absolute best in DD1 but now they’re not anymore, the balance shifted and I’m not used to it yet lol. Darkening Storm is like the 5th strongest bow when it used to be the final one lol
@@Odisseo_ What I mean is that depending on what head you killed first the behavior would change. I think killing the lion first made the movement less erratic but you would get a lot more spells and killing the goat first you got a more aggressive lion. I dont remember how long the beast would stay down but that is neither here or there.
Well the alternative would be thief or Mystic spearhand and watch both classes spin to win and be invincible. Or sorcerer Augurak flare to murder instantly w.o stamina or hp drain. Truly balanced amongst all classes @PurpleToast
So if you dragonforge the warrior/mages maister skill would it half the full bar of stamina consumed? Im betting not because of the descriptions of "all stamina" but it'd be cool right?
This game need Hard. I just got 30lvl and all monsters very easy, after i got all ranks in archer, and chenge on thief, one shots, 2 minibosses, all, all death easy((((
Why do people not use the Stanima and heal items with the key key binds… like I just don’t get going into item menu to use items when you could have done it way faster with the shortcut binds for them…you could have used them soon as you used the skill that drained you and had full stanima before the skill even finished its animation
@@emjaythegreat22 because that method is in many games including the original dark arisen most people that are vets are still used to it and have to unlearn it. it also pauses combat so its one less thing to think about midgame and has its own upsides lol both have pros and cons.
Amazing gameplay it’s just a shame they fighter and warrior aren’t as broken as thief who can just avoid all damage as loved the fighter and warrior from dd1 and feel like they need buffed majorly
High level? The game is way to easy actually. Especially when hit 30+ or got game plus armorsets. It could be way more challenging when the enemies would be stronger at least in game+ depending on the cycle number.
I can't figure out what's going on here.. First of all, how are you not taking any damage? looks like it hits you many times.. Also, the damage is super weird here. Sometimes it loses a good chunk of damage, other times you do barely any damage, and that's even if you hit it the same spot.. That makes no sense.. Just look at your first 10 attacks..
I'm not taking any damage thanks to the fighter skill (dodge into counter) that has is. The damage change on where you hit the boss, nothing weird about, when you hit the weak spot you can hear it does a different sound
I don't understand why people have such difficulty deleting their save file and starting over for a solo or a new run entirely. That used to be what we all did back when DD1 came out.
@@TrayGolden How the hell are you going to argue with what is true? The fighter class is the lowest for a reason, its a basic starter class which majority of the people move on from, it doesnt have enough damage to carry over to late game, it has especially lower damage when compared to other classes like thief. And even when you hit the weak points it doesnt do "shit ton of damage" you can see that in the video, and when it comes to staggering the enemy then the fighter class is not the way to go.
@@luciferverone While playing with fighter he was using a weaker sword, where as with warrior he was using the very best sword that Odisseo had said in another comment was fully upgraded (dragonforged). Fighter has plenty of options to stagger through perfect blocks and hindsight sweeps. And mystic spearhand does insane damage you just need to grab on to enemies and use their insanely quick attacks on weak points, will melt most things pretty quick. Pair that with spearhands teleportation and insane traversal giving you quick access to heads.
Jesus is the only way to heaven Being a good person won’t get you there. “Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” John 14:6 ESV Repent from your sin(disobedience to God) and turn to God and follow Him so that you will be saved “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” 1 John 1:9 ESV “No, I tell you; but unless you repent, you will all likewise perish.” Luke 13:3 ESV
Fighter was super hard to watch, playing it super suboptimally. Same with warrior but the fighter painful. Need to climb more and utilize hard hitting skills when staggered. Warrior you need to actually use the skills that stagger then attack vitals. For drakes you need to stop uppercutting its freakin arm rather than its heart
@@TheBulge nha dude i'm not offended or something, i just want to say what i think, if you don't like the video is fine, but just don't tell me what i have to do, i'm trying to having fun here, i don't care about be optimal, is not even the purpose of the video.
@@Odisseo_ it's my right to criticize gameplay quality just as it is your right to tell me to fuck off. We have both exercised this right. It's only a problem when somebody opts to stop being civil.
@@ethan.a9054 I would be careful saying that. That might be your opinion, but the MH franchise has been going strong for well over a decade, and isn't slowing down. We all know that if Capcom had to choose between the two franchises which one it would be and why. Both games are great in their own right, but DD2 still have some issues when it comes to performance. Kuddos to you if you're one of the lucky ones, but this game would be even more popular if performance & optimization issues weren't plaguing it.
Damn this game looks so slow and enemies ai, movesets and speed got noticeably nerfed too - looks like downgrade compared to DD1, especially that butchered Warrior vocation :/
Well the strider in the first game is the thief here and the strider can pull down the dragon with the rope and than he can one shot him with the skull splitter and the skull splitter is wayy better in the first game its faster you feels like levi ackermann 😂 and the warrior can one shot the griffon with the arc of obliteration its crazy but in part 2 it feels all slower and weaker
