I think they if there is a class specifically for buffing your pawns (trickster) it would be a drag if they didn't make it functional. I might mess with this class as I am the type of person who would just build orcs in Shadow of War to watch them fight in the arena. That AI wasn't even super impressive and utilized a lot of the same animations over and over. Still, can't beat that feeling when your guy starts from nothing and becomes a killing machine lol.

the original game had 1 major dlc update called Dark Arisen. if you get it now, with the massive sale they have going so it's like $5, that dlc is included with the game. it's sort of like, if you are familiar with Capcom's biggest IP Monster Hunter's history, before Monster Hunter World the series use to release the base game then some time later, often a year or so, release the Ultimate version so like MH4 to 4U. that Ultimate version was the base game and a sizable expansion that you couldn't just download back then. if you got the base game and wanted the dlc, you would have to rebuy the game's Ultimate version. the original Dragon's Dogma is 11 years old so it used that old model but with them having changed how they do expansions since MHW, DD2 will certainly let us purchase/download the expansion when it drop around 2025. assuming all goes well with the game succeeding financially. they said they are projecting sales to easily be in the millions so here's hoping their right.

They did say that the magic archer will be filling more of a support role this time around. I think they are trying to bring all the classes on the same level so there isn't as much of a difference between them. I am sure they will still have a couple that everyone goes for though. What I am curious about is if Capcom is big into nerfs and patches in that regard. I personally like being able to play Dragon's Dogma and know exactly which class is best at what. Not having to change my plans after a month of playing as a certain class.

also incorrect... they stated this time around the arisen only classes would be quest related... so you might only learn to be a trickster when you get to battal or whatever... the beastren area as they seem the most likely ones to teach you that vocation... this is their new explanation for why only the arisen can be these classes as you need to complete certain quests and receive training in these classes.

So far, Bolide (Meteor Swarm), Maelstrom (Tornado), Seism (Earthquake/Churning Earth) have been visually confirmed. There has been ice magic, but no clear Gicel (giant ice spears) or Fulmination (mass electricity aura) yet.

No, only online connection is getting other players pawns.

This feature was available in the first game also its called spell sync, which basically sync your cast time to fastened up for the spell to be used

I personally like that it was more of a story attention grabber than anything else. I wouldn't complain if they walked newer Dragon's Dogma players through all the mechanics though. I am sure there are things that are new, or I have forgotten that I could use a refresher for.

@@derekday3896 They had little notes that popped up but I will say they would disappear very quickly. Made it hard to learn game mechanics and there were plenty of things they just didn’t tell you lol

Its because its still in development,capcom are weird like that by the time uts finished everything will be smooth
