If you're curious, I'm *pretty* sure the Brine Dragons are called "Purgeners" (silly name so it may not be the case) but yeah, that theme is SO good. It scratches that "The Fate of The World is in your hands" itch perfectly.
@@Elyrium42 Yeah, that would make sense given the higher exp/dcp it gives. However, I wonder, is there any lore reason on why it looks the way it does? It also doesn't use spells like the drake does, which the drake can use that meteor spell (imo Drakes are also more dangerous because of that).
@@sand2358 Drakes are former arisens who died before defeating their dragons. They didn’t get their hearts back. The heart beating you hear is not their actual hearts but their very souls. Lesser Dragons might be arisens who got their souls shattered by Rothais before defeating their dragons. This might be the reason why Lesser Dragon responded to Godsway, as it was made by fragmented arisen souls. Also, you hear no beating. Iirc, the first time fighting a lesser dragon, I heard it talked about excruciating pain. So I put it in my theory that someone ripped its heart (soul) out, causing its body to decay, resulting in unimaginable pain and rapid decline in sanity. This might be the prime reason why they fight with almost no intelligence or concentration, unlike drakes.
@@MenrvaSMakes sense, all the former Arisen we've seen as humans faced their dragon. If becoming a Drake/Lesser Dragon means they died before even facing it then this does make sense.
