A dragon staff review consisting of the Original Gora Dragon staff, his prototype adapter cuffs, and a Threeworlds dragon adapter kit. After the long play with all of them I have come to the conclusion that I enjoy the Threeworlds the most overall. I hope that this review will help you in choosing the dragon staff best suited to your style(s). I personally enjoy all of them but rate them Threeworlds, Gora Original, then his adapters. If Gora thickens the spines on his cuffs, centers the hub screws, and offered more sizes than just one inch.......it will easily be my favorite over his original. I prefer the adaptability of the cuffs over a "set in stone" model. If you get the set in stone model perfect for you that's great, it doesn't flex and is harder on the head. There are benefits to both models and it really is a choice. I challenge dragon staff manufacturers to make a cuff design that utilizes both solid and flexible spines. In addition, have adapter rings so that it fits all three sizes and you don't need to order a "specific" size. A one size fits all tube sizes flexible and solid adapter cuffs. Just some thoughts.

Hey Mark, Great review! Thanks for the great feedback. We can definitely offer up some solid spokes. It's a very simple object to make. 8mm solid round bar with wicks on the ends. We also have some more solid versions of the wire ones coming in the next few weeks. They still give, but are much less flexible. A good way to go if you want that more solid feel. I'll keep you posted on availability of those. Possibly send you some and you can review them ;) Again, great job on the review! Looks like a lot of time went into it. Cheers Jason

Hey Guys! First off thank you for the informative and solid honest reviews of these staffs. Good job! And I have a question, since this is a 4 year old video for Mark and Jason: I just placed an order with three worlds for the Fusion F3 Dragonstaff ( www.threeworlds.com.au/products/fusion-f3-carbon-fibre-dragon-staff ) AND I definitely love the solid spokes I have on my old Gora staff AND I totally agree on the hub design: the three worlds seems better as I suspected and this vid confirms it. The question is now that Three Worlds has come up with this new dragon hub could you make a review of those as well? I think, not receiving my order yet, it is kind of a game changer on the dragon staff hub game! And my question to Three Worlds is: can I update my spokes for solid ones since I did not see the option while placing my order. All the spokes were made off 'cable material' which I think will bend over time thus losing some of the roll.. Thanks for that video. Do you think it is possible to fit in the solid wicks (with that tiny holy which suits perfectly with the screw) from gora into the adapter of Threeworlds? ;)
