When it comes to authentic cuisine, I don't care about the time concept of this anime, whether it's medieval times or food that's relatively modern like that. but the most important thing is that the essence of cooking is that it is good to look at, good to smell and good to taste.😋😋
@@eggtarts286 Yes. Flatbread originates from Mesopotamia and the Indus Civilization, right? In India, that food is called Naan Bread nowadays. Meanwhile in the Middle East/Arabian, the FlatBread cooking technique developed into Kebab, a famous snack similar to Burittos. If any of my words are wrong I apologize.
I love that they made an actually irl dish from my country here! Fugazzeta (onion pizza) and it's acurate! Fugazzeta is like pizza but without tomato sauce!
I know this is just fiction but the grilled meat in the shape of a block has frankly whetted my appetite. In the culinary world, apart from aroma and color, shape is also one of the things that can attract appetite.😋😋
Does anyone know why Chilchuck says that cutting the dragon tail is wasteful? Knowing him I bet its because it could be sold but I still dont know for sure
The line makes more sense in the manga where he has laois has a conversation before hand about how they’re still broke and the idea of selling the dragon parts, especially the tail which goes for a lot. Conversation got cut for what i assume is due to how much time dialogue heavy chapters take up
Does anybody have a clue wtf Chilchuck was whining about? What’s the problem with cutting a Dragon’s Tail!? Edit: Apparently he was talking about selling chunks of the dragon to recover their financial loss. But I think that conversation with Liaos was cut out from the anime.
It doesn't show it here but the dragon's meat was hard to bite, (Like deer meat) I think boiling it for a few hours (Or Barbacue style) would soften it up and make it even more delicious XDDD
According to my combined thoughts chronologically with Fantasiologically (Sorry if I arbitrarily make mentions😂)., in the Middle Ages, the ingredients for making flour and butter already existed. In ancient times there was already wheat harvest which was the main basic ingredient for flour and milk as the basic ingredient for making butter, but the discovery of modern ingredients has only been discovered for centuries. So this anime has a statement that if at that time there was already knowledge about making butter and flour, even though ingredients such as milk and wheat had been around for a long time BC.
The ingredients came from the orcs, they live mostly on this lever but some of them moved to the higher levers when the dragon showed up. They left some of their food behind.
I wonder if eating dragon meat would be all that good or tasty. Sure it can taste like chicken, but a close relative to that is a Hawk or Vulture, and those birds taste awful due to their diet. This is a giant, heavy set predator, perhaps relying mostly on meat. Maybe some fruits and vegetables, but with sharp fangs like those I would think it's mostly a carnivore. And even with carnivores, Black Bears are one of the only bear meats people try because it eats more nuts and berries than brown bears (I'm guessing here) So... If not really really gamey, dragon meat must not be very delicious. But this is an anime. And everything I said doesn't matter in fiction!
@@looyoo7608 Most store bought meat are fed corns, which gives the meat a milder flavor. While animals like sheep, lambs, and rabbit has a diet of grass, which make them taste different to the corn fed diet.
Everyone saying it’s a “revenge” but all her skin and flesh went into the dragon as nutrients and they’re eating them… plus thanks to that dragon, she’s cursed so what’s the revenge here? This is weird. No brother would care about monster food so much that he doesn’t have any emotional impact collecting his sister’s skeleton 💀
