Hoshi Hearts There are some people who think that DBZ is in fact, the best anime of all time, and it's far from it; it's really not that great but people love it none the less, including me. I love bebop because of it's complexity and character development, it starts off pretty goofy but transitions into something much more serious as the series progresses, it's definitely in my top 10, sitting beside Clannad, Toradora, DBZ, etc etc.

They can restore youth, revive people when they died of a non-naturel cause, restore planets, make people immortal, transport people, give information, give you complete controll over the world (although that has never been confirmed, maybe pilaf just thought it would work). But they can not be used to defeat warriors stronger than the current guardian. However, why they didn't just send a meteor shower at the saiyan pods is beyond me.

About the immortality for the z fighters thing, I'll do you one better. Imagine this, all human protagonists learn kaioken and are able to go past x20, making them once again sort of relevant. Now that would be a dragon ball super I can live with (not that the current dbs series is lacking)
