I can honestly say that the tone of your voice is so relaxing and it is what keeps coming back to your channel every day to watch older videos. It is so calming.
I love this! I am not a comic book/graphic novel geek, not a gamer, but LOVE seeing the depth and breadth of this man’s collection. Thank you for doing such a great job of sharing the collector world with us. As always, I’m a huge fan of your videos, your work ethic, and your unique “Jack-ness”. ( I chuckle at your jokes and puns!) I always enjoy your perspective on your chosen career. Congrats on all of your good fortune recently!!
Norman Lindsay is a well known Australian artist, painter, sculptor, novelist, cartoonist amongst other things. He wrote & illustrated The Magic Pudding book in 1918. It is great that you have a good copy of it. Hope that you have somebody who really wants it for their collection. Great to see you have been granted the opportunity with these 6 new lockers. Wow just wow what train ride (yes I went there) you and your family are on with these 8 master lockers and the others you have picked up. God is really shining down on you and the family. God bless all of you. 🙏🙏♥️♥️
I am speechless. Cannot add any thing that hasn't been said!! How wonderful for you and family. Well deserved. " the harder you work, the luckier you get!"
I have never watched this kind of video before but what enjoyed most in all your videos is the respectful way you tell the former owners story .As a artist myself I really connect with the trian lockers former owners dream of creating something wonderful for others to enjoy I'm just sad he didn't get to fulfill it.But I do think he enjoys seeing your joy with these finds from a good place.
You and yours are doing great. Love watching. Even though I am not into some of those cards and comic books, I still enjoy watching and learning what is out there.
Hi from Australia, I enjoy watching it all, as you find out information on the man please share. I wish you luck in uncovering further treasures. God bless you and your family.
42:12 MacLeod pronounced McCLoud NO big deal, Just a teachable moment. I am catching up with the Locker Nuts since April 1st health issues. I am glad to be back.
I bet this unit belonged to a brilliant man. I would have liked to have met him. I love puzzles and mind twisters. Your finding some really interesting stuff. The art work on some of the cards is beautiful
The thing about the Medicom Mystery Museum box is that they are blind boxes, so even if you opened the box, you still wouldn't know what you have. They could be more valuable if you open them and sell them individually, assuming you get some of the rarer figures. The comics you went through at 19:00 are mostly dollar bin stuff, but if you can put together a run of Akira you could definitely make something off a big lot. The first three issues of Epic illustrated are worth $20 or so, but the other issues go for $5. Starlog is dollar bin, Games Magazine can be a few bucks, The comics at 31:00 start to get more interesting...the Vaughn Bode and Richard Corben titles are the good stuff, but just lot up the Groo, Judge Dredd and the Elfquest stuff. I think your money is the puzzles, dice, games and some of the cards. The comics look like a lot of work to sort through just to find a few that might be over $20.
Hi all the Nuts - love watching all your videos you explain all the things so well and great to see Pirate and Stalker too. Best wishes to you all from the UK
Exiting locker! Will be so fun to watch this series. I now nothing about this but still having fun watching you! I don't understand how you can manage it all!!
How exciting was this. Glad you were able to get these estate lockers. God just keeps on blessing you guys. You must be doing something right. Love you all❤️😘💞💞🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🌞🌞✌️👶
Hi Jack. Some very nice finds, and I am sure some of them will have a great value. Like a few comments, Dragonball Z = Jebus and Amber. Blessings to you and the family.
I think the Star Wars comics have a barcode on the front if they are original & the reprints have a white colored rectangle where the barcode should be.
Hello from Wisconsin. @LockerNuts Wow great locker. Maybe that one box was HIS personal items he worked on or had HIS name attached to a game he made or had a written piece about him. Just seems like it could have been a special box to him.❤❤
Julie Bell is/was Boris Vallejo’s muse, model, and wife. In fact many of the brunettes that look similar in Boris’ artwork are her. So a lot of her work is similar to his.
the Star Wars comics at 49 minutes are a series of 75 comics. I collected the whole set. It was cool watching you take out the boxes of cards and seeing the 12 boxes that I got from you.
You know his mind probably never shut down. The type of person that can design games and puzzles , you know what I'm saying. I bet he was an interesting person.
Thank you for saying, "The Magic Pudding" book. Was not super duper old. As I'm a year older lol. 😁👋👍👍👏👏💕🙏 Jack I wonder if the cards have anything to do with his video design work????
I think you will sell more comics for higher prices if you sort them into sets, selling all the Elfquest, all the Star Wars, all the Groo. I think people may be prepared to spend more for complete or near complete sets. Good luck!
Absolutely fascinating collection of items! It seems to me that you need somebody who can research all of this stuff in order for you sell these wonderful items for the correct price. There are so many incredible pieces in this locker. Happy hunting!
Ok on the comics...I collect atm..You have some very good Dark Horse Star Wars comics..There are a few really good books I saw in there. If you want to get the best money out of them you need to get the cleaned and pressed then graded. If you need suggestions of someone in your area you can trust I can point you in the direction of someone who can help you out either himself or will know someone.
All this stuff looks like something directly from a 90's comic shop. So awesome. If you do find magic cards you could have a fortune, especially if they are from the first 3 sets of the game (Alpha Beta and Unlimited). Could be more money than all the trains you've found combined.
Saw in a previous video and this one you have a few books from Eagle,Qc comics and fleetway like Judge Dredd ,Red Razors,ABC warriors,Nemesis,Rogue Trooper,Zenith and Stainless steel rat all are worth selling separately
I realize I don’t know many comics lol, but fun to see how many out there. I was an Archie girl 😍 , but I am thinking of Janna’ s Dad and praying 🙏 for him ( i want to say Arnie but could be wrong) tell he to get better want to see him back at the train locker 💗💕💗
You read prototype on one of those card boxes were they proposals for something to sell and not actually for sale yet or the first one made to demonstrate what the product would look like that would make the value a lot higher and explain why you can't find comps on some of them
9:55 Space Adventure Cobra trading cards. a 1982 anime movie & tv series. super crazy plot. this has a bit of a cult following. quite a bit of merchandise & collectibles was produced even decades later. but those trading cards look like they may be from the 80's.
In 1978 or so sold the Star Wars #1-3 and 4-6 reprints in multipacks of three in stores. Still have a couple of sealed bagged sets of #1-3. Original price 99 cents.. Cool locker. Should look at the Star Wars Dark Horse etc as even these are popular.
Thanks and you are spot on. I have been looking up values and some of the Dark Horse stuff was good enough to put aside and look at closer. Maybe even grade worthy (maybe)
I was really into his novels when I was in high school. So many great series. Incantations of Incarnation was on of my favorites but also Bio of a Space Tyrant was up there.
Theres always a bargain at the Locker Nuts Online Auction on Monday nights...i once bought a trophy for $60. And sold it for $500. (Shhh dont tell Jack!) 😉
