I have to say, my favorite part about these covers is just how easy it is to understand Neuro and Evil. Like, I'm so used to not being able to understand without lyrics in front of me, but I can understand every word with them
probably because the mix is not "professionally" mixed as the loudness war have made it so that the vox track is extremely quiet in the mix, if I would have guessed what vedal (or the person he have working for him) he took the original track with the vocal and then used stemroller to remove the vocals, now after that he used neuro's singing subsystem to sing the track, exported the neuro vocal track and then put over the vocal track with maybe add a bit of compression and (light) reverb to gel the track a bit
I don't understand the technical terms, but the thing that makes Neuro superior is definately the ability to understand. I've listned to hundreds if not thousands of hours of songs (who hasn't) and there has yet to be a case where I understood the original better than Neuro's cover. my theory is that its all in the accent, but I havn't got evidence for that, besides that even speaking, the only accent Neuro has is Computer Voice. @@fnym9rdsavsffdik9a25
It's not just the production, it's the crispness of the words that usually through speech kinda blur together. Like certain ends of words melt into the next word but the annunciation is AI pristine and audible. It is facinating
Part of that is audio balancing, putting more focus on their voices over the rest of the song cause obviously that’s what we’re focused on here, but mainly it’s cause the AI’s fully enunciate, simplest example is often humans will say “tuh” instead of “to” and other such shortcuts when transitioning from one word to another, but AI’s aren’t quite at the level of mimicking that kind of flow of speech
Through the fire and the flames (rightfully) is remembered for its amazing guitar work and brutal guitar hero level, but it really is an amazing power ballad lyrically too, even when being sang by an evil kawaii AI wearing a frog hat. You can feel that hype in your veins
I’ve always felt Dragonforce is criminally underrated because of being so widely defined as the “Guitar Hero band.” I’d put Sonic Firestorm in my top 5 prog/power metal albums of all time.

Hatsune Miku had concerts since 2011, using a hologram - a projector shining on a carefully prepared see trough surface (I don't know if it's glass with fresnel filters or ridged acrylic, so a surface) mounted in the front and middle of the scene, with band playing on the sides or behind. Miku is mostly 3D and has like 5 "sides" with parallax effect applied, but for Neuro fully flat 2D would work well I think. That's still overkill - if she was just thrown on a screen in the background no one would complain.
Her singing has gotten so good, I'm honestly really impressed by the progress that Vedal has made with Neuro. I'll have to check out some more recent streams to see what her speaking and responses are like, now. It's been a good number of months since I last saw her streams...
@@faenethlorhalien It would be so cool if one day neruo could be programmed to sing like a vocaloid. Im guessing vecal currently using vocoding of some sort, hence why she cant sing anything original.
@@SlurpKing100 I think he probably uses a mixture of those A.I. voice videos that have gotten good at mimicking the presidents and whatnot, and maybe did it with his previous versions of her singing to get it to learn her voice, then did repeated training on that voice for the real Neuro.

Neuro and evil don't use the same type of software, I'm pretty sure that they don't use vocaloid at all, and he's just training a second instance of there primary speech module, so as there speaking increases in fidelity the singing will too

this is actually the best sounding and most accurate vocal cover of this song I've heard from any vtuber (or anyone actually). I thought AI would do worse.
it's partially because Neuro isn't trying to imitate a real person's voice. It's her own purely computer generated voice. Most, if not all other AI covers you hear are trying to imitate a real voice as well as sing.
Something I find interesting about this I almost feel like Neuro is actually adopting her own style with the song. Like during the Woah-oh-ohh parts, I swear she finishes it with a different note to the original but it still works
That’s because the ai doesn’t really “sing”, it just uses its own library of sounds (basically its voice) to recreate the vocals fed to it, and this includes breathing noises. This process takes a ton of manual tweaking from a human to sound good however, so it’s still quite impressive.
Damn. I wish there was a version of this with the instrument volume increased just a bit so she sounded less like she was singing over it and more like she was part of the band. I'd listen to that on my work commute lol
