Hey there bros! The song has been remastered and is finally available on Spotify. Thank you all for your love! open.spotify.com/album/4ZGHpbniZgZUkRoXVdCQ9o
This is like the slow and sadder version of the main theme that plays at the end credits or in a key emotional moment of a JRPG. Like Aerith gets iced and this plays when she's remembering her times with Zack (he's better than Cloud don't @ me).
DAAAAAAAAAAAMN! I’m trying to imagine the heroes entering the city through the gate towards the palace as the citizens throw flowers towards them with this song playing at the back ground, reminder of the same aggressive version of this song played before the heroes go to battle, a reminder of all the comrades they lost to protect the smiles of these citizens who are so desperately trying to show their gratitude to the survivors... Meanwhile I’m crying T_T
Now we need Through Earth and Stone, along with Through Wind and Breeze Earth version - Has multiple people singing in a more serious, warlike fashion, has the sound of metal against metal in the background, heavy with drums. Wind version -The singing is almost like a whisper, with the main instrument being a harp and some other calming instrument.
@@kelnhide Yes! If you find these versions please let me know! And also cause I have to, can we get a cross over between them all. I need my avatar version.
Through the Fire and the Flames Through the Water and the Waves Through the Lightning and the Storms Through the Ground and the Quakes Through the Ice and the Frost Through the Grass and the Leaves Continue
It sounds beautifully poetic and stern in this register, like some adventurers resting after a day of adventure, telling stories to one another, and preparing themselves for the journey ahead of them.
Battle intro: Through The Fire and Flames Heroes returning home after their epic victory as they recall those they've lost on the battlefield: Through The Water and Waves Roll credits
If you told me 15 years ago that a ukulele cover of through the fire and the flames would be the most beautiful thing I've ever heard, i would have called you crazy...but here we are.
For trying to make this the exact opposite of the original song, this captured the spirit of it beautifully. This music captures how my brain registers Dragonforce when I listen to them.
When an army marching on to the Hotel California to finally destroy whatever abomination or evil forces that trapped the visitor's souls inside the hotel.
On a cold winter morning In the time before the light In flames of death's eternal reign We ride towards the fight When the darkness has fallen down And the times are tough alright The sound of evil laughter falls Around the world tonight Fighting hard, fighting on for the steel Through the wastelands evermore The scattered souls will feel the hell Bodies wasted on the shores On the blackest plains in Hell's domain We watch them as they go Through the fire and pain and once again we know So now we fly ever free We're free before the thunderstorm On towards the wilderness Our quest carries on Far beyond the sundown Far beyond the moonlight Deep inside our hearts and all our souls So far away we wait for the day For the lives all so wasted and gone We feel the pain of a lifetime lost in a thousand days Through the water and the waves we carry on As the red day is dawning And the lightning cracks the sky They'll raise their hands to the heavens above With resentment in their eyes Running back through the mid morning light There's a burning in my heart We're banished from a time in a fallen land To a life beyond the stars In your darkest dreams see to believe Our destiny is time And endlessly we'll all be free tonight And on the wings of a dream So far beyond reality All alone in desperation Now the time has gone Lost inside you'll never find Lost within my own mind Day after day this misery must go on So far away we wait for the day For the lives all so wasted and gone We feel the pain of a lifetime lost in a thousand days Through water and the waves we carry on So far away we wait for the day For the lives all so wasted and gone We feel the pain of a lifetime lost in a thousand days Through water and the waves we carry on So far away we wait for the day For the lives all so wasted and gone We feel the pain of a lifetime lost in a thousand days Through water and the waves we carry on(x2) Compositores: Herman Li / Vadim Pruzhanov / ZP Theart / Sam Totman
When you're fighting the boss: through the fire and the flames when the boss is dead:through the water and the waves when you realize there's a second phase: through the water and the waves at 1.5 speed
Through the water and the waves Through the tempest and the trades Through the forest and the blades Through the cavern and the caves Through the thunder and the quakes Through the frozen and the fades Through the darkness and the shades Through the fire and the flames Through the silence and the graves We could make a fantasy book series out of this.
Yeah the full version has like 3 separate solos. And the extra verse. "and now we stand with their blood on our hands, we've come so far now we understand" Or whatever he says, that bit. It's been a while since I heard the full version.
So....I just checked, and they have most of their other songs on spotify. Why not this one? PLEASE put it on spotify. I'd love to add this to my "gotta chill and do homework" playlist.
This song would work really well with an animation of either an old Viking recalling his time going on a raids, or a brotherhood of steel animation in which a knight recalls his time moving through the ranks. It just kinda give off that fallout vibe
Hi, I just wanted to say that this is the best acoustic rendition of a metal song I've heard in my life dudes! You guys nailed at what you said about trying to convey the complete opposite of the original song and it turned out to be absolutely amazing! Your cover actually made me feel emotional, in contrast to Dragonforce's version wich makes me feel hyped and pumped up. You two have a very special talent. Stay safe and thanks for making music!
This is actually my favorite cover of this song and while it is super different from the original and thus hard to compare...I feel like it is better in so many ways. The emotion for what is essentially a silly cover is top notch. You two do such an ABSOLUTELY wonderful job, thank you so much.
I was expecting to be amused by a well executed concept But I unironically love it, way better than the original, like this version doesn't trigger Guitar Hero PTSD either
This proves for great the core melody is in this song. I've never been the greatest fan of the type of music dragonforce is, but I have always been allured by the melody of this song.
Original song sounded like an anime opening, this sounds like something that'd play during the end credits- very mellow and chill. You should get a Megadeth sound like Sweating Bullets and try to make it sound pleasant- maybe rename it Sweating Muffins or something like that.
Amazing. I was such a fan of this song when it first came out. I was a huge metalhead and learned as much as I could on guitar. This cover is incredible. Takes me back! Bravo!
For those like myself who are singing along to this version: On a cold winter morning In the time before the light In flames of death's eternal reign We ride towards the fight When the darkness has fallen down And the times are tough alright The sound of evil laughter falls Around the world tonight Fighting hard, fighting on for the steel Through the wastelands evermore The scattered souls will feel the hell Bodies wasted on the shores On the blackest plains in Hell's domain We watch them as they go Through the fire and pain and once again we know So now we fly ever free We're free before the thunderstorm On towards the wilderness Our quest carries on Far beyond the sundown Far beyond the moonlight Deep inside our hearts and all our souls So far away we wait for the day For the lives all so wasted and gone We feel the pain of a lifetime lost in a thousand days Through the fire and the flames we carry on As the red day is dawning And the lightning cracks the sky They'll raise their hands to the heavens above With resentment in their eyes Running back through the mid morning light There's a burning in my heart We're banished from a time in a fallen land To a life beyond the stars In your darkest dreams see to believe Our destiny is time And endlessly we'll all be free tonight And on the wings of a dream So far beyond reality All alone in desperation Now the time has gone Lost inside you'll never find Lost within my own mind Day after day this misery must go on So far away we wait for the day For the lives all so wasted and gone We feel the pain of a lifetime lost in a thousand days Through the fire and the flames we carry on Woah, woah, whoah Woah, woah, whoah Now here we stand with their blood on our hands We fought so hard, now can we understand I'll break the seal of this curse if I possibly can For freedom of every man So far away we wait for the day For the lives all so wasted and gone We feel the pain of a lifetime lost in a thousand days Through the fire and the flames we carry on
On a hot summer morning In the time during the light In the wave of sun's temporary reign We ride towards the tide When the rain has fallen down The times are rough alright The sound of rain and thunder falls Around the world tonight
It is the year two thousand nineteen. I have been on the internet for upwards of fourteen years now. In that time, I have suffered through every meme, every trend, known to the internet. ...And on this day, July seventh, two thousand nineteen... I fell for a rickroll. Well played, sir.
I just discovered your channel and I must say you're really talented and your covers are better than the original songs. I hope you get the recognition you deserve. Keep up the great work! :)
This is like the acoustic version of the main theme of an epic video game that plays in the epilogue and/or the credits. The end of journey that has the player/characters reflect on the adventure they had.
This acoustic version made me realise why I like that song in a way it seemed familiar from the first listen. Basically, it's just hotel California by the eagles.
