After more than 10 years of absence, DRAGONLAND are finally back! Starting of with the title track to their upcoming album "THE POWER OF THE NIGHTSTAR", releasing in October this year. This will be a sci-fi concept album, telling the story of a people astray, looking for a new home throughout a hostile universe. Mixed and mastered by JACOB HANSEN (Volbeat, Pyramzae, U.D.O.), the long awaited single will be accompanied by an official music video.

@@FurbyParade226 When Harkin and Liimatainen left the band, the band took a new direction. I can understand that. They are alright and I'm sure their new music has a fan base, but I 'm more into their old stuff too. However, Cain's Offering, Liimatainen's new solo album and The Dark Element are a bit more what old Sonata was like.

As a power metal enthusiast I can't emphasize what a treasure this song is. I woke up today hearing the chorus in my head and the emotion packed in it brought tears in my eyes. In a time when the competition is strong since we have albums coming out from several power metal giants, The Power of the Nightstar shines through! This is the best song I've heard in years. "Hope's again been reignited.."

Holy Moly! I remember discovering these guys with their album Starfall around 2005 and was a fan the moment I heard them. Glad to see them back after an 11 year hiatus. It's like they never left.

Those orchestral arrangements sound HUGE. The synths make for some nice contrast. Guitars sound massive. Drums are crystal clear, and as always, Jonas never fails to deliver. Looking forward to the album.

I'm glad to be listening to new Dragonland after a quiet decade. This song didn't quite capture me like listening to the singles off Under The Grey Banner for the first time, but maybe with the rest of the album it'll have it's place, and maybe a few more spins and it'll sit better for me.

Another dragon from Swden I myself know this dragon from the track Holy War until now. This dragon continues to travel until the 6th album. The music still has Melodic power, with a bit of Symphony mixed in. For Melodic necks power is another band that has been around for a long time and maintains the band's standards very well. #SwedishDragon #Melodicpower #Dragonland

The chorus and verses sound reminiscent of Under the Grey Banner but the keyboard solo sounds Starfall-esque!

Of course this song is great overall, I am so glad ! Especially after so many years. Still, I am missing something, especially referring to the instrumental part and the solos. Hope that there will be more rather unusual, epic songs on the album.
