This was such an interesting episode! The series is developing into something really quite fantastic. Overall it's just so fun to watch, and Brady, you need to promote this through social media and your other channels.
Objectivity Will do. I was surprised to see you had a new channel with 15 vids on it that i hadn't heard of. Any plans to add to the Psychology channel?
FYI: "Nullius in Verba", the Latin phrase on the arms atop the chair, means "On the words of no one". It's the motto of the Royal Society, and indicates that you shouldn't take anyone's word for anything - you should determine scientific truth through experiment rather than accepting an authority's word for it.
The fake dragon made from fish is known as a Jenny Haniver, and would have been made by cutting up and drying a ray or skate. The cat-headed dragon is called a Tatzelwurm.
Do a vid on Newtonian rings Brady. Herad it here for the first time and googled it. Didn't find that much about it though. Please :) And thanks very much for great stuff and great channels!
Brady would it be possible to enquire about the heraldry of the presidential crest? There are many symbols I recognise but I was wondering if there is anything significance with the dogs?
yeah I think if I had ever fallen in love with a man, it must be Keith, I've been watching almost every episode and I'm just thrilled of hes knowledge, that guy must have incredible memory... such knowledge wow!! (I hate that meme but just had to anyway :D, so great man!! and yeah Brady you too :D you must be one guy who's videos I've viewed the most, gone trough all the periodic table videos for example)
LMacNeill A more accurate translation would be "on the word of no one" or "take nobody's word for it", which is very fitting for the RS, as it encourages the scientists to seek evidence for themselves, rather than just take someone else's word for it.
Nillie Ahh -- thank you. That makes total sense. A true scientist would always want to verify the results of any claim by undertaking their own experimentation, of course. I appreciate your clearing that up.
