Considering that "Homecoming" special that took place after the last HTTYD film, the only way that book could work is if Hiccup (or someone else) had made the book while visiting the Hidden World himself and created the map. And of course left the book there so no one can find it. Obviously it couldn't be the book of dragons unless Hiccup replaced the book's cover(technically possible, but unlikely) or the people behind this show were too lazy to double check what the book is suppose to look like (most likely). Jun's eye color could still be colored-contacts.
I show my little sister the movies and the shows, when I show her a picture of this show her reaction was "What is that?!", it looked horrible to her, so she doesn't want to see it

My sisters where hit just once by our father, and if he hit us, that means that what they did was VERY serious. I don't agree to hit children, except when it's ACTUALLY necessary
So Season 3 released on August 18th of this year......and season 4 comes out November 17th......that is literally a 3 month gap minus a day. DreamWorks really is pumping out seasons faster then Disney pumps out Marvel content like Jesus christ SPARE THE ANIMATORS!!!!!!
I really don't get why they did so few episodes per season if they were going to shit out seasons so fast. Hell, there really isn't any reason to consider them different seasons, plotwise. It really may as well still be season 1. It's a nonsensically stupid decision, because now season 1 episodes are being judged as season 4 episodes. The show really is a failure in every single way.
@@propheinx2250 It's on DreamWorks for marketing them as separate seasons. Like I think they're just part of one order of 26 episodes. But DreamWorks just decided to label them as separate seasons, like I'm more forgiving if it really is just the first cycle of episodes that is bad.

Honestly, for the first time since this show started, I'm actually looking forward to something in it, and that's representation for my boi the Timberjack.
Even if the show is flawed. Even if it's a mess. I am happy they are FINALLY showcasing my favorite Dragon. I'm not sure why this show is the one to do it, but hey. Here it is! That leaves only the Snaptrapper and we have all the classic Book of Dragons species having appeared at last.

i think the timber jack will be Buzzsaw dragon because he had the lumberjack business which might connect the two of them and also because the timberjack in the trailer seems to have a lead around it's neck.
She really did too. Even points she's wrong on, she's not that far off from. Having watched the season, it's rather uncanny how accurate her predictions were.
I just a had a really cool idea for the nine realms to make Buzzsaw an actual villain. If Buzzsaw were to discover the Timberjack, he'd quickly learn that it's wings can easily cut down trees and its fire can burn the wood it collected, making it the perfect dragon to use for his lodging company. They could have a scene where Buzzsaw accidently scratches the Timberjack in a specific spot, much to the dragon's joy, since the Book of Dragons Short mentions how the Timberjack loves to be scratched. They could have a small bonding scene or episode of Buzzsaw trying to accept the dragon and trying to trick it into coming with him. Buzzsaw would try several times to force the Timberjack back with him to the real world, attracting the attention of Tom and the others. Tom and others would reprimand him for trying to force a dragon into working for him, but Buzzsaw would argue that it's the perfect way to rebuild his company's reputation and power after the lumber forest burned down. It would make Buzzsaw a villain not because he's evil, or maniacal, or even deranged, he would be a villain simply because his motives contrast with the dragon rider's. Tom and the others want to help dragons while Buzzsaw wants to use them for personal gain. They could even have a two-parter episode that could "redeem" him. Buzzsaw would have a fight with Tom over their choices, where eventually Buzzsaw would storm off, leaving a stubborn Tom behind. But Tom quickly regrets his decision as he realized he let Buzzsaw waltz into a blizzard alone. The episode would turn to the riders searching for him, but the dragons would have trouble flying through the blizzard like Toothless did in the Speed Stinger's debut episode. The episode would end off on Buzzsaw's perspective and the screen turning black as he falls unconscious due to the weather conditions. The next episode could then start off with Buzzsaw waking up and realizing that he's not only alive, but next to a small pile of wood with a kindling fire going, when he looks around, he's surprised to see the Timberjack from before right above him. Turns out the Timberjack, despite all the times Buzzsaw tried forcing it to come with him to the real world, never forgot the good times it had with Buzzsaw and used its wings to shelter him, like how the original dragon rider's dragons did in Animal House in Riders of Berk. The dragon saving his life could make Buzzsaw reconsider his decision and lead to some interesting self-conflict with his desire to rebuild his grandpa's legacy of the company and his desire to protect his new friend. I'm sorry I went such a long on a tangent, I basically made my own fanfiction, but the thought of the Timberjack being perfect for Buzzsaw do to it's nature and the ideas just kept on coming. I'd love to see this type of story in the Nine Realms and hope we get something similar with Season 4.
I love your attention to detail on the lore of the Timberjack but I'm going to tell you right now to lower your expectations. No way they're going to remember or even care that Timberjacks like to be scratched. You put more care and effort into that comment than the writers have put into this entire season

I made a comment on Raisorblade's video about Buzzsaw discovering Yohan's frozen corpse in the Ice Realm and releasing him, making him the new antagonist of the series. Why? Cause 1. It's funny and 2. That's what I would expect this series to do.

OG dragon riders froze themselves (idk why they just did) and then they replace the modern cast. Idc if this is actually bad its better than what we have.
I felt the exact same way when I watched the trailer. I have nothing to say or feel about this show by now. I'm just hoping Season 4 will be entertainingly bad.

In full honesty, if they're now actually using the Timberjack I at least hope they bring in the Snaptrapper at some point if there's an overgrown plant realm. Outside of spinoff games it literally never appeared outside of Book Of Dragons and one throwaway line in RTTE, then again maybe their animation budget only goes as far as two heads.
I have a theory that everything in Nine Realms is just Tom's sub-conscious. Like, he's a fan of HTTYD in real life, but now he's sick in the hospital and in a coma or something and Nine Realms is the comatose dream he's having. Which is why so much weird and wrong stuff happens and everyone and everything looks so weird and wrong.
I think the _only_ thing I can say about this is that visually it looks like a bit of an improvement. However, something tells me it won't stay like that because we all know how this show plays out by now
I'm not exactly a big fan of How to Train Your Dragons, but I could probably make a more compelling story. Cant wait for the next season review from you. They always make my day 36% better
Black and white looks so much better on the misttwister dragon. I guess the animators wanted to lean further into the Asian culture cliché and make it remind us of a Yin and Yang symbol. But I’m not mad about that at all bcs it actually works wonderfully, and it can use the colours to disguise itself in mountains that has snow patches.
Um how are they just walking in the ice realm and not freezing to death? though I should've asked a similar thing to the fire realm, so rescue riders also use heat and cold better than nine realms as well.... you should actually give rescue riders a watch it's far better also I swear if that Crystal works like the one's in rescue riders where they can affect the dragons they better have a plot about it
I used to agree that the Nightlights were inbred, until I re-watched the third movie.., There are actually multiple Light furies seen in the hidden world (Which would make sense since Grimmel focused more on killing the Night furies than the Light furies) and it made me think that maybe the Nightlights bred with the other Light furies? Either that or they could've cross bred cause there's no way a Light fury and Nightlights tail changes to have a third flap over years of breeding with one another unless one of them cross-bred with what looks like the Sand Buster. I dunno just a theory after re-watching the entire franchise-

the dragon you dont know looks somewhat like the Wooly Howl from the School Of Dragons game. I dont know if it's a titan version of it or a different speices but they look similar
I have a theory about Nine Realms which will make everyone who watched it not feel as depressed. Maybe 'realms' refers to 9 separate universes with different outcomes to the How to Train Your Dragon world. This is instead of the different biomes of the Hidden World being classed the 'realms'. So the Nine Realms story line is a version of what could have happened to Hiccup's and Toothless' decendants and this is why the Hidden World looks so different to HTTYR 3. This is because it is a completely different universe which is also implied with the character style having been changed. And say in universe/realm 1 for example, the Nine Realms story line may not have happened due to each reality being a variation. So Nine Realms could possibly not have happened to the same world that our favourite HTTYD characters are in. Then if we interpret this idea in a certain way, it means the Nine Realms story technically isn't 'real'...
Im pretty sure the book is Hiccups Journal because it has drawings of his friends and himself along with notes of warnings Etc.. they dive alot deeper in Hiccup Haddock and the Vikings in this season. Also pretty sure “Thunder” is the “great Grandson” of toothless after watching this which im all for it just wish Dragons were Immortal then Toothless and the other dragons could show up
Okay guys I have a theory which I also hate is that I think they're going to try to produce nine Seasons to match with the theme which I'm assuming is the nine Realms of Norse mythology and they're most likely going to correspond with each season Midgard: Home of the Humans for whenever they're outside of the fissure, the first season I don't really know what Realm it could correspond to but it could possibly be Svartalfheim: Home of the Dwarves due to the many gem-like structures that are there one of the seasons does correspond with the Hot part and so I'm going to assume it is Muspelheim: The Land of Fire for the runner up, after that it's probably Niflheim: The Realm of Fog and Mist, and then assuming we saw a skull after that it's going to be Helheim: Home of the dishonorable dead, the rest of the Realms are listed below Asgard: Home of the Gods Jotunheim: Home of the Giants Vanaheim: Home of the Vanir Alfheim: Home of the Light Elves
Well I will say that there are two things I am scared for this season: 1. Someone in another review pointed out that Buzzsaw who likes to cut trees is down there, and they run into a possible timerbjack. I doubt that the shows would actually do this, but the thought of Buzzsaw taming the timberJack would kill me. 2nd: somehow I made a theory that it’s possible for these kids to make a dragons eye by using one of the snow wraiths teeth and following some instructions in the dragon journal. Probably unlikely but I wouldn’t put it past the show if they did something like that Forgot 3: NIGHTLIGHTS…oh boy are we in for a treat with the finale
