Those people who talk about you being wrong aren’t the ones out unclogging these drains and preventing any further flooding. Keep up the good work man, you’re great.
Strange. First you have to find a way to go from the street to the sidewalk, to drive on it. Then find a way from the sidewalk to the street, to get off. Hoping you don't damage your vehicle. Or get stopped by the police. Better to just find an alternative route to avoid obstacles like this flooding. Most of the time, it's just people refusing to take a few more minutes to arrive at their destination.
@@davids9520 that's just how people in Massachusetts are. Just an overinflated sense of their own self worth. They feel more important than you, so in their mind, they're entitled to things like driving on a sidewalk.
You are honestly me when I was a kid. Actually, all of that water draining away would give me enough enjoyment to sit there and watch everything drain away. It's a fascination I will never be able to explain, honestly.
I really can't explain it. It's just something that holds my imagination and there's nothing I can say or do to explain it. I get bored and lose interest in things very very quickly but for some reason, water exiting a big resivior, blockage, drain etc just hits part of my brain that I guess cocaine hits others. Really don't know what it is. Maybe we could start a group hahhaha
I keep looking for drains that need unclogging, but around here where I live in uk everything is ok. Went to an old school today and as I walk with a stick I constantly look down. What did I see , a clogged drain pipe full of husks from the trees. Yippee. I could use my walking stick to clear it. So happy.
I would think a country known for its habitual rain showers would be lightyears ahead in terms of drainage system tech, haha. Do you guys get a lot of torrential downpours, though?
@@dallyh.2960 Most of the time drains do work here, it’s only when we have months on end of rain, and occasional thunderstorms. Local flooding and rivers go over.
Same here in canada, our drains work pretty well because of all the rain and snow, sucks bc i feel like this would be fun but i guess it’s probably a good thing
We see a lot more flooding in rural areas of the UK mainly due to streams etc overflowing in heavy rain, don't we? I live in the countryside (middle of nowhere) and its a fairly common thing in some villages etc. Locals know which roads to avoid as a result. Local kids get a lot of amusement out of hanging around these places on rainy days, just to help out those unfamiliar with the area, by pushing them through the flooded bits if they get caught out, and to mock those who think their cars can defy the laws of physics/nature.
It makes me so mad 😡 why the hell would anyone make fun of a hero 🦸♂️ this man goes out on his own time risking his own life to save other lives, people he doesn’t even know whilst the trolls do nothing but make fun and trying to belittle people. Well done post 10 keep up the good work 😊
True, they basically just sit at home and judge. Even though these comments are never as bad as they are being portrayed. Really. Though, I find the term hero as well as saying "risking his own life" and "to save other lives" to be rather exaggerated. Nontheless, he's doing his community a big favor.
Right he does not get paid to do this. Not even where he lives. 45 mins to an hr from where he lives. Thank you sir for keeping everyone safe, home safe, business safe, anything that can be damaged from the flood.
Take someone else with ypu just to get plates if those who splash ypu but most importantly who drive on the sidewalk. Take it to that police officer that told ypu to get plates. Be like im not worried about me but these people were driving on the sidewalk .
🙌 you just educated so many people. My dad works on the roads and hes always taught us the ins and outs of road maintenance and structure. These hazards created by poor drainage layout could be so preventable! And please dont let anyones negative comments get you down. Your logic is undeniable!!
Honestly, I feel like those were just very few comments out of thousands, and most of the time they aren't that harsh anyway. At least not on a channel like this one. So, while it's still not cool what some people write, we can all chill about it.
Post you know you can't drop any knowledge on these internet trolls they will always say that you're wrong about something, and now they will jump me for supporting what you are doing.... they are very predictable like that lol. Keep it going bud you're doing a fantastic job.
You have literally saved lives! I can only imagine how many people would have hydroplaned if it was not for you. I almost lost a son and a daughter at different times. My daughter was in a vehicle that hydroplaned....in the mountains. They did a complete 360 and thankfully they didn’t fall over a high cliff! My son was alone coming home from work. No signs, nothing to warn anyone and he did a 180 on the freeway! Thank you so much for all you do!
People mock what they envy. The Shoveler was misunderstood as well, but it never deterred him. The Rake has a calling and he remains steadfast to it. Providing a much needed public service is more important than the scorn of the apathetic. Job well done, sir.
🎵Draining floods, It’s what he does, Draining floods, It’s what he loves, Showing all the people how it’s done, Telling all the people, he does it for fun, Draining drains, Draining pipes, To him It’s all the same, Cars driving on the side walk, Fearful of the flooding rain🎶
I have a new appreciation for how hard what you do is. I was in a flooding parking lot a few days ago. I remembered your technique and thought I could help. I tried but it was pouring, cold, and people driving in and out around me. I wasnt dressed for it either. So, I gave up after getting a tad of debris out of the drain. You really are doing a great deed for your community.
I remember reading where a guy was saying you shouldn't be unclogging that drain to that lake where you made a report to the news. He was like maybe they wanted the water not to be drained might have been clogged for a reason. But there wouldn't have been a drain there in the first place dude.
Greetings from Sweden. thanks Post10, have seen all your videos and like them all. You belong to the real heroes who act in the hidden to the delight of everyone. You should get payed and a medal because you have certainly saved some drivers from being injured or even lost their lives by keeping the water away from the roads. However, I hope you are very careful in traffic, especially on dark rainy roads. You seem to be a genuinely kind person and animal lover. Saw you paddle ashore to save a spider from becoming fish food, it indicates great empathy for even the smallest creatures, I like that. Big thanks for all the videos, it's like visiting a good friend to see what you do every day.
Just goes to show, we need some new experts in infrastructure. Ones that aren't going for doing the cheapest jobs possible and will actually do things right.
Since i randomly came across this channel one night, i have been hooked. What a helpful, caring and adorable guy post 10 is. Whoever married him is one hell of a lucky person.
Best coaches are on the sideline The way you talk, we can see you know what you're doing!!! Keep up the good work. Unclog the drain, wash the negatives away!! Nice vid !!! Keep doing what you do!!
$$$ Most budgets are tight. Cheaper to have crews come out and clean the drains, even though they don't. It's the same everywhere. We can spend billions to go to war for no good reason, but we can't fix our infrastructure!
Honestly I love that you educate during these videos too. I think what I like most is just the fact that you go out while it's raining and that allows the sound of the rain to be included in the video. Makes the video very soothing.
Ik I’ve been asking a lot and I really don’t wanna come across as rude, annoying or hateful, Post, but the next time this place floods, I wouldn’t mind having a very long video where you take us around the place while you drain the street and start draining the sidewalk and then keeping your camera rolling on the sidewalk for a little while if that football field beside it floods again like that main Draining a Massive Flooded Street Video. I’m not asking for multiple angles of multiple drains showing at once, just a really long and relaxing/satisfying video. Again, I’m just writing this comment to try to perform a genuine, polite request and also wanna give you a shoutout for all the hard work you do for these areas you film in. Keep up the great work! 👍
Block their arses!! AND delete every comment from them because you can. Or, simply don't respond. This is YOUR channel, my good Sir!! Keep up the good work. Thank you!!
Honestly, the city should pay you for your awesome service. It's an incredibly dangerous thing to have standing water as deep as it was in the other video. Also, people who drive on the sidewalk are awful. As well as those that see you and swamp you by speeding past.
The mixing of the storm drains and sewage is something they have in a nearby town. It’s flooded so many times that now the local river is contaminated and they issued a warning against drinking or swimming in it. Crazy stuff!
So proud of this young man for taking an interest in the safety of other people. DPW workers always have a very long list of things needing doing, and never enough time. Regarding his thinking in the area of this video, his thinking is correct. I think the problem that the city is having in this particular incident is that roadways were placed and the drainage for that, and then the sidewalk area was put in and somehow have to figure out how to get them both to drain. Every time something is added to the existing infrastructure oh, the drainage systems that were already in place don't always work with the addition.
He'll never be allowed to win. A person who can make a river in a street again is dangerous. He knows how to deal with trash and sewage be it literal or not.
One second.. have i been lookimg wrongly or did you have like 23k subs? You have almost 100k! Playbutton on the way! By the way.. how is it with lake drain?
the hell if i know how i stumbled onto this channel but now that i have i find it almost impossible to not watch more!! Post10 your doing an awesome job and i agree on the design of the road but you and i both know the powers that be here in New England don't care. the roads around me town and state are not fixed unless they have to and then its usually just throw a 2" layer of asphalt on it looks all pretty and smooth for the tourists then us locals come winter deal with the pounding our vehicles take. My town simply drives past the pothole, throws a few shovels full of cold patch mix in it and drive off they don't even tamp it down or pack it with the dam truck tires so next few cars hit it pack it a little but mostly cause its still a slight depression just kick the stuff out and hole is back like 3 days later.
Hey Post 10, after watching your videos , they are very satisfying to watch (like other viewers). I like drains & especially if they are in bathroom, kitchen, laundry rooms & outside channelling water away from property into a gutter. If they are jammed, then I'll give it a quick clean with my shoes so the water flows draining into its desired location. Your so passionate about this flood clearing helping infrastructure & saving the city $$$& taxpayers. All your efforts are recognized & thank you for doing good for society/ community. You really are a true hero saving the day with your rake & commitment.
I love your consistency. I get up early on the weekend and in my notifications is Post 10 and I can't wait to see what he is improving next! These towns that you go to need to see your hard work and dedication via these videos and mail you a paycheck. I'm pretty sure they would think you were worth it. Good job as always!
We need more people like you in this world man. Your big drive for something almost nobody thinks about is just incredible. And to make it interesting like you do is just mind-blowing.
People have a good understanding of the content that they click on but they still dislike videos of people doing good things. Man keep up the great work I like what your doing
I can’t believe this guy has to deal with trolls. It’s obvious that post 10 has experience with how the water flows. He works his ass off to help save property from damage. Mostly he loves his work and travels places that don’t really benefit him. People need to be happy we still have people like post 10 out there. Keep up the good work post 10.
Watching this wishing I could do this for a living! Looks so satisfying. Out in the rain, unclogging crap. Seeing whirlpools. I'm in! Great work. And if this is not your job, kudos to you! Love the content. 🤩
In Holland where I live we have overflow because smal gardens are all tiled up. So water has no where to go. Thus gardens with grass are encouraged because they distarge water slowly. Love you video’s
This guy is very enjoyable to listen to. You know why? Because he doesn't you use the word "like" every two words like many people, and each word actually has a role in his sentences. No repetition as well, clear and straight to the point.
WOW. post10, you almost at a hundred thousand. That’s great. Your doing a fine job. I think the haters need their yappy drains cleaned. Which you have done. 👍
I’m glad I’m in Phoenix Arizona we don’t get heavy rainstorms like you lol maybe 5 to 10 max a year, but you truly are a good dude helping the community
Man you are an asset to your community , I enjoy your videos ... At first I was sort of critical about why you were doing what you're doing but realized that's just me being a jerk even though I didn't express it to you in comments. I support your work and thank you very much for having courage to share your passion with the world . Godspeed sir .
