"We've done this one before" makes me feel so good, as if I've actually been helping out whilst sitting in my chair drinking coffee and watching videos ;)
I'm going to put this video on pause, make myself a big latte and then also supervise Post 10. He is amazing and wrong about some clogs being boring. If there is a stream of water draining, we are interested!
Lol my husband doesn’t understand either lol 😂 I live in dry South Australia 🇦🇺 we don’t get much rain 🌧 America seems to have wetter summers than one wettest winters
Mine either 😂 I found post 10 last night and watched 4 hours straight she’s like your men are weird’ 🤷♂️ it’s water, it’s a drain and you have a stick what’s not to like. I’m in my 50’s now and I’ve done that all my life.
I can't believe how mesmerizing these videos are. The flowing water, the pelting rain and our man, post 10, out there making the streets safer for the rest of us. It's a thankless job, but there are a quarter of a million people subscribed to this channel that appreciate what you do.
Good idea! A bit like Brandon Farris’ series “leftovers” which involves videos/clips that don’t make the cut as a stand-alone video and get put together to make one longer video. Which would be great for post10 to do.
He's a fucking treasure and his community is blessed. If his county works department hasn't been in contact with him yet, they're a bunch of lazy pricks.
You remind of a local guy around my neck of the woods. He's called "fence-guy". Whenever there is high wind or something else that causes a fence to break, fence-guy comes along and fixes the fence. No one knows his real name or where he lives. He's been doing it for many years and everyone knows him and knows he actually does a good job so we just leave him to it. I guess your "drain-guy". Keep it up 👍
@@fyzhkar3962 They sound identical when spoken out loud. It also bugs me when people do that but honestly, if your own sentences have almost more mistakes than words in them you're not really in a position to mock at other's mistakes... no offence intended.
@@fyzhkar3962 Well hey, no need so be sorry, most native english speakers are far from fluent in any other language so that's something. It's also nice to hear you're open for constructive criticism :) (Btw, this second, much longer comment of yours was already much better than your first one!) So for the first comment: I'll start by re-writing it correctly: > Nice comment btw, but I'm confused how people still have a hard time differentiating between "you're" & "your" Of course there are various ways to say this, another one could be > "[…] but I'm confused (as to) why people are still having a hard time differentiating […]" (don't say that though it sounds weird) To break it down: - "I am confuse" - might have been a simple typo but '(to) confuse' is the verb form of the word which can't be used here since you're not describing an action but the state of a subject ('I') as indicated by the preceding form of 'to be' (am), hence the adjective form "confused" must be used. - "why *do* people still ~~*having*~~ have" - can only be used like this at the beginning of a sentence. Here you were using it in a subordinate clause so the 'do' is dropped ("[main clause:] I am confused [subordinate:] *why* people still *have*"). In this case the verb (have) stands in 3rd person plural (because 'people -> they). If you insist on using the gerund (hav*ing*) instead, you have to use "are" (plural) or "is" (singular) in place of "do" ('they are having', 'he is having'). While grammatically not entirely wrong, frankly this excessive use of gerunds sounds odd to me but it always depends on the context. Gerunds are usually only used to describe active actions (e.g. "I like swimming") or when the verb becomes the subject ("Swimming is fun"). The same applies to your second comment, the only thing that really struck me here was "makes me wonder why is this keep happening". Correct would be "makes me wonder why this keeps happening". Also "*these* sentences" instead of "this sentences", because plural y'know. Hope this makes sense, and disclaimer: I'm not an english grammer teacher and gave you this information only because you asked for it, this is how I remember it from back in school.
You might not think the videos you delete are no good but I would love to see them because it’s not just about how “exciting” they are - it’s just great to see you go around with your rake and chat to us and show us the drains. I dunno, I just think you’re the best and enjoy so much what you do. Thanks drain hero!!
Just found your channel earlier this week, honestly these are some of the most relaxing/ mood boosting videos I've seen in a long time. Keep up the great work!
A man and his rake saving flooded roads and streets 1 culvert at a time !!!!! Of all the culvert unclogging videos I've come across , your channel is the most fun to watch as you talk to the viewer during the video and its SOOOOOOOOO relaxing to watch you work !!!!!! I can't explain it !!!!!
My stepfather died in a car accident 25 years ago because someone in the other lane hydroplaned on a road that was flooded and hit him head on. The drains on the road were clogged. You're not only saving frustration and property damage, you may be saving a life. Thank you Post 10.
In the ocean shot at the end, you should have been scraping at the water's edge with your rake, and then pan up, and it's the ocean. Might make a good permanent intro or outro.
My wife and I found one of your videos by random recommendation. After the first one, binge watched about 8-10 more of your videos! We even drove past a clogged drain on one of our streets and unclogged it "post 10" style! Keep up the great work!
"Drains works as long as they are maintained." Little long for tshirt merch. but i like it. Have a great day love your content. Stay safe out there best channel on youtube these days.
Greetings from Sweden. Had one of your videos in my feed yesterday evening, start watching out of curiosity and got caught. Your energy, voice, the satisfaction when it’s clogged up is mesmerizing. I guess it’s the childhood games with water that wakes the feelings. Watched your videos until little over 1 am and now I watch it while eating breakfast. Keep up the great work!
Must be a heck of a drought for you to have to bring stuff out off of the cutting room floor but what the hey? Some of this stuff is really good! Thanks for sharing!
Not exciting? Are you kidding? Every drain you unclog is exciting to watch and really satisfying. I love these videos. Thank you for your work and thank you even more for sharing it with us. Take care!
Great videos! Keep up the good work! Advice: Use a flashing LED light, the ones similar on bicycles and put it on yourself at night. Some of your night videos sometimes are quite dangerous indeed with those irresponsible drivers!
This guy holds more contempt for neglected drains than he does for the people that splash him intentionally as they drive by. He's made of gold this fella
You’ve gotten really good with that rake! Those rakes are hard use at first and get hung up often until you learn the flat back end is just as important as the forked front end. Grandpa always said there’s a perfect tool for every job and that’s definitely the tool for that job... 👍
I'm not sure why but I always get a little happy when one of your videos show up. Thanks to you the drain next to my house that flows into a creek next to my property drains perfectly every time it rains. This is thanks to you NOT my city maintenance! Keep being awesome!!
Only if the cties of those town's clean the road side's, that's where all the garbage and brushes are that hold the garbage. Thank you for your devotion to do something other's can't think about, i want you to know that am keeping my block where i live clean, i place a garbage can so people just throw it in, so far is working every week i remove the bag of garbage and put a new at my own cost. Also pick whatever is throw on the side walk, and i feel no shame for doing the right thing which benefits everyone. I learn from you Post 10, thank you.
I live in Phoenix Arizona it’s amazing how different it is there with all the trees and Pineneedles and just the rain. We only get 7 inches of rain a year here. And believe it or not you can get sick of blue skies and sunny days every day. I really miss good old thunderstorms.
@@richieb7692 Unfortunately those dickheads are allowed to breed or encourage/educate others If only, once first identified, they were banned from reproducing or have their kids removed ...... harsh yes but existing laws/rules haven't yet made much difference

@@KZ3W But they are entitled to commit crimes and entitled to challenge justice and when punished (if you can call it punishment (especially more so in the UK)) they are entitled to challenge the punishment. Probably like me - when you did something wrong as a kid you got punished (real punishment) and learnt your lesson and grew up to be a RESPONSIBLE adult - yes you'll speed 10% over if circumstances allow but you won't ever contemplate going into someone else's home without their permission to take their property. Entitlement and responsibility - 2 words in the 21st century - 1 hated and 1 extinct by many, many mature, educated citizens aka "the silent majority"
Considering the way people drive in poor conditions, it’s reasonable to consider how many accidents leading to injury this dude has prevented. Unsung hero!
Watching these videos makes me appreciate our municipal services in my little town. Our street department is vigilant about keeping the storm sewer grates unobstructed. I occurs to me that no only is this guy doing a great service to his community, but the actual act of grate unclogging has to be really good cardio.
I've never been this early before :O !!! I hope you know hundreds and thousands of people appreciate your work, one of them is me. You are inspiring- I get more pumped up to clean when I remember your hard work. Stay safe Post 10!
Is this what he does for living, driving about u clogging drain he sees at random. " OHH look a drain that's needing clear, time to get my garden fork out"
Huh, What his subs skyrocketed. The last I remember was only about 10k or less. I'm shocked by how big he has grown. I'm very happy for him to get all of this love. It's not the love he needs, but it's the love he deserves.
Post10 is providing a valuable service to his community, and saving tax dollars while doing it. If everyone put in even 1% of the effort Post10 does for their community, every community would be awesome and clean! Hopefully, these videos will inspire others to put in a little effort to improve their community. "Ask not what your community can do for you, but what you can do for your community".
These videos remind me of growing up in Georgia where we got rain. Where I am now doesn’t rain much so I can’t have the real world satisfaction of watch water flow like that.
Post, your knowledge of the workings of the underground drainage systems is that of a genius. I am learning so much from your ability to go straight to the heart of a problem and immediately hone in and correct the issue. You use a rake and your physical strength to remove debris, limbs of trees, discarded grocery carts, numerous items dumped by people who have no care for the environment, and the list is endless. You voluntarily go and search out what needs to be cleared in the problem areas than those persons who are paid to do so. You have the heart of a lion, Post.
The clog in the very last flood looks like it's gonna be a Doosie, may I suggest you start at the Sahandre trench. My guts telling me the clog is there. Keep up the great content, you've got the most relaxing videos I've ever seen!
