I don't understand why everyone is giving Kendrick Lamar shit. By the time he gets done touring this December, he will be on tour for the last 1 1/2 years. Everyone is spoiled now, expecting these Artists to churn out material like there is no tomorrow. I remember when the normal wait time for albums, yes albums😂, was years. Its about 2 weeks after the album now and Im ready to fully review. He gave us exactly take care, views, nwts drake vibes. 2 weeks later and Im listening to daily front to back. The only song he misses on is calling for you, but at first this album gave me an off vibe, but Virginia Beach is one of the best songs to drive to, Drew a Picasso is a top 5 drake song ever, away from him is AMAZING, 8am Charlotte I mean the bars speak. Members only is a masterpiece, Bahama trips gives me a jaded vibe, Tried our best one of his best sung songs without autotune in years also the flow at the end good lord, again DREW A PICASSO my lord, the interludes gave old album drake interludes and BBL interlude is a banger lol, members only classic drake pnd gives me More Life vibes, rich baby daddy is a club anthem and ANOTHER #1 hit off this album and the ending is amazing. 8.5 outta 10. FATD baby

virginia beach samples frank ocean's wise man. that production was ethereal. and i also thought the interludes were one of the standouts on the album. pretty enjoyable.

cant please anybody these days. he put out a full body of work, a house/slower album, a rap/collab project, and then another full body of work. hes given us everything. the only thing I want now is for him to take multiple years off, get some experiences, and put out a 12-14 track album thats more concise and taken super seriously

bro drakes spanish verse was so goofy but that’s usually the type of guy he is.. it’s drake but as a latino myself tbf I disagree with y’alls opinion on gentle. like I think the purpose of the bad bunny feature is to kinda switch it up to the raeggeton vibe and but still it’s a drake album. like the biggest part of his audience isn’t expecting a whole safaera type of song cause it’s still a hip hop, trap, r&b album..yea long ahh album so why not switch it up a lil bit. it works and benito’s verse does the work.

If you think about the name of the album and the theme of most of the songs, he’s reflecting on his addiction to females. The money he spends, the lengths he’ll go to make sure these women are taken care of, the ones he’s glad are gone, etc. I could be wrong but he’s doing what he said he made a career doing “reminiscing”…that’s why we all relate because we all reflect or reminisce.
The album was decent but honestly kinda underwhelming. Drake doesn’t make bad music but sonically, I feel like Drake could do much better or atleast switch it up a bit. Idk I feel like all his music is starting to sound similar. I get that’s his style but maybe I just have Drake fatigue since he drops so often. Definitely not “For All The Dogs” vibes!
