they really should have chosen that wide reciever. he was the best player available. you chose the "3rd best quarterback" who by the way won't be ready to play for a couple years. not to mention this team has needs like "wide receiver" which if we took that last night then we'd be in better position to evaluate the signal caller because this dude had talent. you're right if this dude is a dumba** all this planning will blowup in their faces. I envy Chicago. had Kraft not got in BB's way he would have traded Brady and fot 2 first rd picks and we would have been able to arm Garopolo with some serious firepower. instead he forced bill to trade jimmy and Brady screwed you anyways and left and retired LMAO
Hes not sitting for 2 years. He WILL be starting at some point this year. Also if you dont even know marvin harrisons name and refer to him as "that wide receiver" you really should just keep your casual fan thoughts in your head because you sound incompetent.
@@randomflagg7331bill had first round picks and chose harry over Metcalf and debo and other way better players and then he did it again and took a guard in the first round and a punter in the fourth bill even said they should take a corner nd not a WR and if u get a WR who's throwing him the ball next draft isn't QB friendly
@@terrencegibbons3351 Brady is the GOAT, you have zero idea what Bill would have done with a stacked team. Brady went to a stacked team. to compare Bradys team to what Bill had is disingenuous.
Maye reminds me a little bit of Gronk. We still have plenty of time to pick some people up to address our offense during the draft and post draft. I think we have a chance of being competitive, who knows maybe we can be similar to the Texans, and do a quick rebuild. I trust Eliot and Mayo to get the job done.
Had that debate this morning. Told the fool you’re going with the opinion of the guy who took N’Keal Harry over Debo Samuel, DK Metcalf, AND AJ Brown? AND took Sony Michel over DJ Moore, and took Isaiah Wynn over LAMAR JACKSON!!!
@@DMKFACTOR its laughable how stupid some of you are, talking about the same exact draft pick for years now but refuse to bring up the COUNTLESS amount of elite players he drafted and traded for. god forbid the guy misses on a few people over 24 years😂😂
Team will definitely not make the playoffs with Brissett under center. Kraft will be very unhappy if that happens. Mayo knows that. Expect to see Maye sooner rather than later.
You re not taking into account - Perifrial Vision - Ability to throw accurately off platform- Setting Protections at the line- Not staring down the receiver- Pump faking a defender- Looking at reads quickly- Before deciding to throw or run - Touch on ball as well as power. ( curve and offspeed- as well as fastball) - Understanding of Clock and Down management- Adapting to weather conditions- Wind - SnowRain Ability to switch game plan according to Opponents
The NE Patriots just got the best QB in this class. 1st he didn't have half the talent surrounding him in college as the other QB. He still put up numbers that had him rated second in the draft. 2nd he is 21 years old and has only started half the games the othe QB have started and still has the most passing yards last year and the year before second only to Penix who had the most by far. 3rd He's physically the best QB in the draft to play in NE cold weather at 6'4 230 lbs. You can bet by the time this kide takes command of the team he's going to be closer to 235 245lbs and in even better shape. When he does decide to scramble he's going to be load to bring down like Josh Allen. I think he's going to end up being around a lot longer than the 1st and 2nd picks and turn out to be the best long term QB investment of this draft.
Since we are ast the mac jones era can we all stop bashing the 2022 season like it was 0-16 bears we went 8-9 with 5 loses being 1 score games ya patricia didnt help much but he also didnt teach mac to throw off his back foot if anything billy o was much less help
I’m still puzzled at how Matt Patricia was just persecuted and was the reason they didn’t make the playoffs. Billy O comes in and all of the sudden Mac Jones was a huge failure and they fire Belichick. Billy O totally escaped criticism. I never heard one thing from any of the media against Billy O.
They absolutely made the right choice and it's about damn time! They needed the right and sexy pick for once! He belongs here! Now build an offense around him and some leadership to support him.
Hmm would you rather have Jacoby Brissett throwing to a Lambo, or Maye throwing to 2-3 bags of chips? The Pats apologists will have a LOT of time to reminiscence about the "Good Ole Days" because this team will be lousy for years to come.
Love Bill and think Kraft deserves all the backlash he gets for that smear campaign...Bill's comments last night were so disingenuous and came off as arrogant. Oh you mean the 3 most important positions on offense were top needs? Could that be because you ignored tackle and wr? Could it be that you tried to patch both groups together with cast offs and washed vets and told the kid "make it work"? Mac was not the guy thats ok, but Bill did nothing to support him and give him a chance to develop after a promising rookie yr (both can be true) How you going to judge a cook when you give him nothing to work with? Gave him a piss poor Oline, the worst skill position group in football, and that clown show circus with Judge and Patricia. I think thats why Kraft told the falcons not to trust Bill because he 100% did not always do what was best for the football team as he always preached. I think Kraft should have kept him mouth shut and just let Bill move on. He looks like a total Dbag for that, but we are also at rock bottom because of Bill's roster construction.
Not going to happen. Kraft will not accept having three losing seasons in a row. That’s what will happen with Jacoby Brissett under center, if past history is any guide.
Mayo might feel that he has no choice but to have Drake start right now. Kraft will not tolerate having his team play terrible for the third straight season. And that’s what he will get with Jacoby Brissett as starting quarterback.
Just wondering where the clown they had on here from Carolina with the glasses is right now? He was on the other month saying that Maye is atrocious and would be ridiculed for the way he spoke? "Wait until you hear him speak". Viva Drake Maye.
I love the Maye pick based on the ceiling alone! When you have a pick this high, looking for a safe floor that will probably never become a franchise guy, like J.J just makes no sense! Now they MUST stay the course and let the kid develop before you put him out there! Zolak babbling about getting him right out there defeats the purpose! Starting Maye immediately w/the roster as is , squanders Maye's potential and probably ruins his career! What was the point in bringing back a guy like Jacoby as a bridge if he is never utilized as that bridge? Yes Brissette is not an exciting hand but he is safe, steady and reliable in what he is and above anything else, a pro that Maye can learn from for the season as the coaches work w/Maye on the many things he needs to square away like his footwork, throwing motion etc., before he gets on the field! It also bothers me to listen to a fathead zilch like Bertrand call out the legitimate architect of the dynasty, regardless of what fatter head Kraft's propaganda is trying to revise about team history !
Mayo is a first-year HC who can’t afford to have a losing season right out of the gate. That’s what will happen if Brissett is the starting quarterback. Expect to see Drake in games this season.
Drake Maye should sit for a year maybe even 2. Let’s rebuild this team. Hopefully we can find a good WR. And next season hopefully we got another top draft pick. By year 3 the team should be way better
@@seanheffernan1206 Theres still six WRs with extremely high upside left on the board: AD mitchell, mcconkey, coleman, franklin, polk, and mcmillan. Trading up wouldve done nothing but destroy our ability to grab a quality OL at the top of the 3rd, hell we could even go OL in the 2nd and possibly snag one of the washington WRs in the 3rd, but I wouldn't risk that especially since it seems like the run on WRs has already started. We're in a good spot, take the WR on the top of your board this round, top OL next round, then you can start fucking around with trading up/down with your picks, but for now just let the talent fall to you theres still plenty of it out there
P.S, Nice that you are a high character family good ol' boy Drake and it was nice to meet your brothers........the ONE time! Nobody gives a flying fuck about seeing them anymore, so please do yourself a favor and leave Jackson and the other two home from now on before the fans here turn on you and them!
