What do I think? Too little, too late. Drake can continue this one sided beef. Make himself look bad to the larger audience. He’ll be fine. He has a million yes-men and millions and millions and millions of dedicated fans who could care less about the beef. It’s over for me. Kendrick won. Drake is fine. He’ll survive and thrive. My only investment is seeing if Kendrick bothers to acknowledge him over these petty subliminal lines. For Drake, I don’t care. Let him keep making music throwing subs to make himself feel better. Whatever helps him cope.

The problem I have with the drops is that he's taking the wonder out of his next official project because we are already getting his thoughts on this beef instead of maybe putting out ONE reflective time stamp record (4:15 in Houston) after being silent since May. This would've built anticipation and it gets people to ACTUALLY see you as the underdog instead of forcing this 20 v 1 "Everyone is only lit because of me" victim narrative down everyones throat. This whole "Revenge Drake" is not only raising expectations but eliminating the element of surprise with his opponents. They are just going to be clipped up, waiting. I really want to hear from Cole now, honestly because he's been SILENT & I wanna know his thoughts on everything to be real.🥴

I kinda feel bad because songs like No Face, SOD (Super Soaker) and It's Up, no matter how old these songs are... do seem like a lot of time was taken to make them. If I'm a producer, I'd be pissed that a little more care for a rollout should've been taken. Maybe Drake thought he'd be on the Beyoncé level of "I'm dropping my art and my fans will rock with it." But it would be fire if Drake didnt 'shotgun blast' his fanbase with so much muck, leaving us to pick out the gems... If there are any.
