I listened to it and so good not in my opinion I think utopia should’ve got second to metro boomings HEROS AND VILLAINS. It was such a good album but everyone has different opinions

If it were a based on stats artist that have the most sales/charts/radioplay/payola/(apple+spotify)deals/big corporations backing them etc etc Then artist like drake would win all the awards and it would be too predictable to even watch and then the grammys would just be the billboard awards 2.0 at that point. Im glad the grammys are more so opinion based than looking at the numbers. It gives a less popular artist a chance to win over the most popular and most likey the less talented artist. It makes the grammys more interesting and valid imo whether i agree or disagree who won that night. Im glad drake only has like 5 grammys which are all well deserved but imagine him having 30 grammys...yikes. He's good and all sure but honestly hes not that good wholeheartedly.
I liked Utopia most of the nominees but what I have an issue with isn’t that what I have an issue with is Taylor Swift has won AOTY 4 times, if Grammys were consistently giving AOTY to the most popular albums then why did artist Jon Batiste (who worked for CBS) and Beck win that award in the last 10 years? Who tf is voting that seriously feels Taylor had the best album of all genres 4 times? She’s a good artist but her main audience is privileged white girls/women whose deepest struggle in life is usually a breakup it’s not that deep your ex was toxic and her audience doesn’t need representation. How do Beyoncé and Jay-Z have the most nominations of all time and have been icons for almost a quarter century yet never won AOTY? How tf did Macklemore win best rap album over Kanye and Kendrick. How was is that Kanye at one point had more Grammy wins than any male artist his age of all time but never won a Grammy in a category a white artist is nominated How was did JID and Denzel Curry not even get nominated for AOTY but DJ Khalid and Jack Harlow did? Do they even listen to hip hop? The list goes on and on but why do we as hip hop fans keep watching that BS or make videos about the show as if it matters what the Grammys think about hip hop????
