Ahh, now in cata times i still love to watch Drakedog's movies. Great music, great player. Nothing else i can say. Well, maybe that i really learned a lot from this movies 6 years later. 6 years, so much changes since pre-tbc retail. /cheers for Drakedog,

Pre BC awarded people who played all day. I know this because i played in in 2005. But overall the nostalgic value will NEVER be replicated. But maybe because that was a different time in my life and everyone played differently.

Funny how drakedog in year 2005 used this song for his intro. And like 4 years later comes the awesome series "Prison break" and steals his intro!! thats really cool imo :D

That's why I'm waiting for Guild Wars 2. Since the game will be "virgin" and absolutely vanilla when it comes out, I'm hoping that this will match the beauty and simplicity that vanilla WoW had. Maybe it will, maybe it won't.

@NectarOfGods Well because some of us played for several years the changes have not been so small that you wouldn't notice. I can clearly tell from that comment you don't or have not been playing wow that long.

Did you change the music of the video? Because I remember this video and I have one of this from the old times, there was the music of Adema - The Way You Like It instead of Powerman 5000 - When The Worlds Collide. This new song doesn't look better than the old one m8... :/

@lexos1993 Well everyone says now they would want to go there, but 99% will leave when they see how much grind and tears you needed to even get 60 lvl

Leveling 1-60 wasn't that hard. You just had to know how to do it effectively. Joana taught us some neat tricks there.

@lexos1993 People say that, but there are plenty of 1.12.1 servers out there that are 100% blizzlike. I personally support them but I can't deal with that grind to 60 again, I mean it's not that it's difficult it's just repetetive. A lot of people think the same way but most just deal with it. If you're one of those people who likes 1.12.1 blizzlike go google some servers

When I watched it just pre-BC it was Powerman and never Adema, I recall since I never liked the Powerman song hehe

@lexos1993 there is a private server very good one vanilla like and people make pvp movies there really cool :] so you might wana try out i dont remmber the name thought ...

Guild Wars 2 will be stand-alone. The entire combat system got a revamp. It used to be dominated by metagame builds. By the looks of it, gw2 will not feature that. But meh. I've grown into a GW2 fanboy so I guess I should shut up :D

Hey man can i ask you something about vanilla warlock, could you use spellstone even if you dont have magic debuffs and were there any duration reduction on pvp with curses?

@lexos1993 it won't be done by blizz, it's that simple... However i play on feenix, it's the closest you will ever get to vanilla wow. It's not the same, the hardcoreness isn't fully there, but it's the closest you will ever get to it. Face it, vanilla is gone. In these servers, the rank systems get messed with cause there just aren't nuf ppl competing for the higher titles... I'd say look past your nostalgia and play the game, it's a good game:P Even though it's hardly the same game:D

@lexos1993 because honestly its a waste of money, the number of people calling for vanilla servers is a huge minority compared to the people who are currently playing cataclysm. Think of it from their point of view, and was vanilla all that great, with rogues and warriors being unstoppable killing machines. Warlocks able to fear spam you to death. Preists only being usefull as heals, druids being basically useless. Paladins being buff bots, I could go on but you probably get what I mean.

the changes is a part of mmorpg guys ... if you dont accept it .. why playing ?

There is a server that is up "vanilla.wow-one.com" there u find pheonix. a fastlvling server but otherwise exact vanilla and it is POPULATED!

or even better ^-^ go to q-gaming(.)org its starting in a few days and they will attempt to recreate full experience (no inflation like in feenix). looks very promising.
